A very good place to come to all year round there it is very good scenery in here and there always seems to be something going on. There is usually an annual fireworks display as well and things like fun fairs as well. Definitely something for everyone. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

Beautiful part of SE London - vast green open spaces with Canary Wharf skyline as a backdrop. Lovely village centre. Close to Greenwich village and the fabulous Greenwich Park

A very large open area, great for if you want to plan a gathering with friends and family! At one end if Blackheath village which has many shops, pubs and restaurants, a small hospital and multiple schools. There is also a church and and a pond which has ducklings on it at some points in the year but is always a great place to see and feed the birds :)

Very large park common, huge green space with the church as a beautiful focal point. Lots of nearby shops and restaurants so makes for a beautiful day out- solo, with friends and the family. If ever in Blackheath whether on a hot summerโ€™s day or cool autumn night, be sure to stroll through this lovely common ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ’š

Lovely common but little to do there unless you're just looking to relax with friends. Drawback is that you're surrounded by roads and cars but you can easily walk to Greenwich Park nearby if you prefer more greenery. At summer you do gey lots of bugs flying around as well as cicadas

Blackheath is a lovely open space adjacent to Greenwich Park. Surrounded by roads so not especially dog or child friendly but worth a visit. Lots of events throughout the year so worth checking out.

Usually come here for the start of the London marathon. Didnโ€™t disappoint again.

Great place to walk the dogs or jog or playing sports. There are a couple of pubs where you can get a drink or a bite or to spend a penny. The Tea Hut has re-opened for business too. You can go feed the ducks and geese at the Princess of Wales Pond.

Most people think of the heath as just the large stretch of land which spreads out from the village and church, but the smaller common areas are just as great to sit and read a book or just watch the world go by.

Blackheath Common contains a historical and spiritual gem - Whitfield's Mount. The raised dome area is where George Whitfield preached the good news of Jesus Christ to thousands of people.

Could do with more Bins as now people are back out and leaving trash. Also to be monitored as people have no courtesy and trashing the greenery

Historical places to visit on the Heath; I just came from the mound where the peasants (of the the time) held a meeting for an uprising. If you go there in the day, bring binoculars with you so you can see all the places of interest from the mound without having to walk everywhere. By the geese pond they a special crossing which is adorable when they use it (all traffic stops).
