Hidden gem! Great variety of dishes, they can adjust the spice level to taste. Chairs are super comfy, perfect atmosphere for a date night. We’ve ordered a meat combo - just watch out because if you do, you don’t choose the combination. We accidentally ordered more dishes thinking they were included, but they weren’t. In the end we got a discount and delicious leftovers, so overall still a great experience! Will definitely be back.

One of my favourite restaurant, the interior is designed beautifully representing cultural and modern décor. Delicious food and reasonably priced. 4 of us went and we have ordered different dishes to share, which was great way to experience more than one dish. Owner and staff are very friendly and very accommodating to our requests. Delicious food and very clean restaurant. Highly recommend !

We had a great time at Laza! Went with a friend from out of town and we’re really impressed with the friendly and fantastic service. Our children also got to sample guava before they ordered a glass. We sat outside in the cool back space which is tidy and welcoming. We’ve had Ethiopian food a number of times from a few different places and here the the food was excellent with great injera and without any unnecessary grease. We plan to go again soon! Thanks Laza

Delicious place with fantastic hosts. The food is good, generous and tasty. Strong recommendation, have a try with the meat combo that offers a good idea of Ethiopian tastes and cuisine. It also exists with a vegetarian touch.

My new favourite Eritrean/Ethiopian restaurant in London! The staff were super friendly and the food was fantastic. The menu is well thought-out and has a diverse range of colourful dishes bursting with flavour. We had the meat sharing platter which I highly recommend, as it gives you many three different meat and vegan dishes in one. It's also great value for money. A must try if you're looking for authentic East African restaurants in London.

Incredible! We had the best time at Laza. Delicious food, excellent service and great atmosphere. The music was also superb. The Katenya is my favourite thing I’ve ever eaten!

So so good. We've been here a couple of times and the lamb dish (stewed lamb - can't remember the name - in the centre of the picture) is delicious. The staff are really friendly and seemingly very proud of the food that they serve - and rightly so. Laza is fully deserving of their excellent reviews online and can't wait to come back here again.

Firstly, I don't tend to write many reviews, but was totally compelled to write one. We came here to celebrate our mum's birthday and was greated with exceptional service (warm, caring and informative) and super-delicious food. We had a mix of vegetarian & vegan dishes and ended with the coffee ceremony. Portions were generous and would love to return. It's rare to get find a genuine rating so high on Google, but I can totally vouch for this. Thanks so much to the team at Laza.

Went for dinner and the food was so good 10/10 would recommend it to everyone as my go to Ethiopian restaurant. The food wait was a bit longer than expected but 100% worth it because it tasted so fresh. They were running low on a dish so they gave us substitutes on the house which were just as good and makes the service a 10/10 as well. The prices were reasonable. Would come back again

Finally tried it here! Eritrean/Ethiopian food is my favorite so I had high expectations and I was not disappointed. Everybody loved the food. The round table and the big plate to share makes you spend such a good time as a group Also the house blend tea is very nice. Will be back :)

First time trying Ethiopian food and I could say it’s an interesting cuisine 🤣 We ordered the meat combo: it includes two lamb and one beef dishes, three vegan dishes (lentils and spinach). It would be better if we could choose our own combinations. It’s a shame that the food turned cold quickly after being served. The “crust” was a bit sour and the seasoning of the lamb was quite special😂

Loved it! Food was absolutely delicious and generous. The room was so stylish and loved the art work. Service excellent and would highly recommend coming with a few people so you can taste lots of the dishes. The fish and the injera starter were the highlights for me but all was superb!

I absolutely love the Ethiopian food in London and this place is no exception. Came here with my boyfriend and we got the feta salad and vegan platter to share. The owners are such genuine and funny people. We left full and happy, will be back!

Most delicious Eritrean and Ethiopian food! Lovely, welcoming atmosphere. The owner a fantastic host, gave us great recommendations and gave my sister some delicious cake for her birthday. Can’t wait to return!

Food was decent but not amazing. The main reason for poor review however is I waited over an hour for my food (not exaggerating). I saw others wait long as well though mine took longer as the server explained there was a mix up. They were generally friendly but should have been more proactive in at least giving a discount for the extremely long wait. I had to ask, at which point they only gave service charge plus a pound off.

This is one of my favourite restaurants to go to with my partner. The food is always to a great standard, as is the pricing and the service. The waitresses are super friendly and I have never had a problem with this restaurant. I would definitely recommend to everyone else planning to come here.

Beautiful, cool restaurant with nice art. Very friendly, warm staff, especially the owner - she was great. Food was delicious. Large menu with nice variety - friendly to meat eaters and vegans alike. Very reasonable prices for the quantity.

Highly recommend this neighbourhood restaurant. Delicious food, gorgeous staff and beautiful decor. We returned to have the Combo again. So much fun trying all the different flavours and eating with our hand (cutlery is offered if that’s not your style) We had the combo with an extra main dish of lamb - perfect amount for 2. Can’t wait to return.

We came in on a bank holiday for an early dinner - there were lots of available tables and we were seated right away. I have fond memories of eating Ethiopian food from my days in Chicago, and so I was expected to relive those a little bit. We ordered the vegan combo and tsebhi dinish with extra injera. The food was generally nice, but I think the flavors were a bit of a miss for me. The injera was a bit too sour (personal preference) and the vegan mains were generally average. However, the Tsebhi Dinish was really great! The portions are hearty and the two of us struggled to finish - I think a third person would have been perfect for the amount of food that came!

Absolutely delicious food, super friendly and attentive service. Great decor and relaxed vibe. Food was very reasonably priced for the quantity. Went with a small group who all loved it. Will definitely be returning again and try the coffee ceremony as well next time!

Shockingly good, from start to finish. I have seen many places claiming to be hidden gems in London, but this is truly one of them. Staff is so friendly you can’t leave without a smile and the food is just unreal. And it’s so affordable! I’d recommend the chefs selection for 2 people and a couple of sides if you are particularly hungry. When I was speaking with the owner I also found out they do a coffee ceremony which I cannot wait to try!
