Amazing service! We came to this restaurant for my sister’s bridesmaids proposal dinner. The food and cocktails were unreal and we even ended our night with some lovely Turkish tea! Our waiter Matt was so kind and accommodating. The bar staff were also very lovely! Definitely coming back here again ☺️

A secret spot in the beautiful place of Shirley near Croydon. The restaurant is a grill/shisha spot but not your typical it was clean and decor inside very modern and fresh. They have great refreshing mocktails. The food was amazing what can I say Had the Mac&cheese, hummus topped with lamb, hummus was smooth and Mac was so saucy n cheesy. The mains was one of the best mixed grills I had cooked to perfection. The service we received In there was 10/10 our waitress was Farah (look out for her) excellent customer service didn't go without nothing. Definitely a place to revisit.

This place is a hidden gem. The workers are lovely. The food portions and flavour is amazing I went on two different occasions and ordered the same thing just to make sure the portions weren't a fluke and it was under £20 for two salmon fillets that's unheard of lol. My drink was mixed superbly and perfect amount of alcohol. The shisha atmosphere outside is a mood!!

Went for a quick meal with some mates and I have to say this was a really nice joint. Modern decor and great contemporary Mediterranean food. Service was swift and customer service was impeccable

The ambience, the service, the food, the drinks.... was 10/10. The steak cooked medium melts in your mouth! The burger was delicious! The starters are mouthwatering, the halloumi was done to perfection! I was so impressed, it was my first time here and now I cant wait to go back!

The best place to go for food, cocktails and entertainment! We was well looked after, staff were so friendly! The food was 10/10… portion sizes were extremely generous and we didn’t have to wait long! Cocktails were amazing we had the daiquiris and tried every flavour! Entertainment was great. Me and wife went for a midweek dinner. Was pleasantly happy with what I had chosen, the Koz burger massive with 2 beef patties plus chicken and with sweet potato fries on the side. Wife had the chicken salad. We then shared the Kunefe pudding. Everything that we ordered was cooked perfectly, tasted fresh and well presented. Will most likely go again , definitely would recommend if you fancy a moden Turkish twist on traditional food with American type

Venue is nice, aesthetically pleasing and clean, customer service is great and entertainment was awesome. Food was yummy.... the only thing I would say is maybe some deals with the cocktails like 3 for 2 or happy hour... I'll definitely be back.

Great venue, amazing food and awesome staff. My first visit to Helvadere but certainly won’t be my last. The settings and ambiance is really good, nice interiors and good music playlist. The service was top, very welcoming attentive and prompt. The food was well prepared and presented, packed flavour and all tasted very fresh and good generous sizes and a good selection of cocktails and drinks. The only negative is parking, it is hard to find parking close by. Other than that a great experience

The food was amazing, the service was good, the entertainment was fun, the drinks were good as well. The presentation of the food was amazing and the vibe was good with amazing fun staff. I’d like to mention our table service was good and the waitress, MEL, looked after us very well.

Alright hear me now, me and my friends went out to eat to celebrate me and my friends recent graduation and picked Helvadere as the special location. Having high hopes for this Turkish grill and shisha lounge. This restaurant had a real inviting night vibe with the leafy forest decorations, lit fires outside, incredibly comfortable seating literally sitting on sofas with cushions for even more comfort, it was bliss. They have great staff and the music isn’t too loud unless it’s someone birthday where the blast the song birthday. I got the 3 cheeseburger sliders for a starter and the combo special for one for my main. Cheeseburger sliders These buns filled with joy were an absolute delight. The charcoal buns which were a surprise, were spongy and soft which really complement the beautifully constructed. It had the best seasoned patty I’ve ever tried, with a perfect amount of sauce and lettuce with everything rationed soo elegantly there wasn’t too much of anything. The three were a delectable start to this culinary experience and probably the best starter I’ve ever had. I was genuinely upset when I had finished them. 9.5/10 Combo special for 1 Overall it was a pretty good meal, but I am in two minds about it as there were things about it that were good and somethings that could been improved upon. The white rice was buttery and well cooked and worked brilliantly with its phenomenally seasoned sautéed veg which was a shock to me how well it tasted. The chicken wings although grilled well and retained that flavour they weren’t seasoned which was unfortunate because it definitely could’ve elevated it, and they were also really small so it wasn’t significant. The lamb and chicken Kofte were both succulent and seasoned beautifully pairing perfectly with white and seasoned rice and veg. The lamb cutlet was a bit tough and there wasn’t much meat on the bone. The lamb shish was good, again was well seasoned like most of the meat, however I didn’t enjoy the chicken shish as it lacked flavour and was dry also. 7.6/10 Overall rating 9/10 All costing a nice £45 which is probably the most I have spent on food in one go but it was worth it. They have a good selection of drinks I tried their their Turkish tea and Lychee martini both really good drinks but if you get the tea you don’t need anymore than one cub of sugar anymore and it will be overly sweet. I was recommended this beautiful place and was told I wouldn't be disappointed. I was not! The place was beautiful, the atmosphere was lovely, staff were helpful and attentive to you and the food...omg absolutely amazing. I was so full but also didn't want to leave anything on the plate so you know food is good good. Planning the next return with friends.

A great restaurant offers awesome food and Awesome service. Helvedere offers these two in spades. Their Kanefa is probably the best I have eaten. We had Matt, Tooba and Lea serving us and they were 5* attentive. Their food recommendations of Lamb cutlets and kenefa was spot on. This is going to be my go to dine in Turkish restaurant this side of London.

I can't say enough good things! The outdoor seating area has a cozy atmosphere that's perfect for a relaxed evening. The food was simply incredible, with a delightful array of flavors and dishes that left my taste buds dancing. But what truly stood out was the caring staff. Their attention to detail and friendly service made the whole experience unforgettable. I can't wait to return!

Had my daughter's birthday there last night, the food was awesome and I'm a big eater but I found the portions huge.The entertainment, i.e., the belly dancer was amazing.The staff were thoughtful and obliging, to sum will definitely be going back again and I am recommending it to all my friends.

Absolutely loved it!!! Last night was my father's 60th birthday and we needed a restaurant to go to and my dad had its heart set here. They were Absolutely amazing with a big party of 25 (which they don't usually take). The customer service was amazing and they were so helpful towards my grandmother. Our main server was a lovely lady called 'Mel' and she was so helpful and explained things on the menu. They brought out a birthday cake with my dad and sang. It was everything he wanted. I would definitely go back and would recommend.

Natalie provided the best customer service that I have received in a very long time. She was attentive, helpful and just a joy to have on the team. She checked in periodically, recommended some tasty drinks and because of her I will be returning more than I do. She was amazing!!!! ♥️

This is a lovely local restaurant. It’s really a hidden gem! Beautiful interior. Staff were really friendly and attentive despite it being really busy for a Sunday evening! We went for a friends birthday and there were many birthdays being celebrated and the staff were fun and enthusiastic each time! The food was a little cold but starters were perfect. Very nice calamari and not fishy at all and one of the best mac and cheese. Main course sea bass, lamb and chicken shish were all very nice and flavourful, succulent and soft. Portions are actually quite generous too. Drinks were also very nicely made ( we had mango martini, lychee martini and pina colada). Price is the same as any other Turkish or Lebanese restaurant, roughly £20-30pp including drinks. No shisha at the moment but would definitely recommend.

I love a lot of the places I visit.. atmosphere and service is extremely important to me and I had both here to the most exceptional quality I've had in the UK thanks to Elchin, Lea and Kerim! They were there for us at all times no matter how annoying.. the food? AMAZING ALSO?! And the bar is untouchable. They have a limited but wonderful cocktail menu and Gina can even make cocktails that aren't displayed- awesome bartender! The shisha and atmosphere in the garden is so calm and enjoyable, I felt like I was in Marrakech (other than the rain 😂).. if you can make it here I would 100% advise it ❤️

The best restaurant in Croydon hands down. Amazing food and service. We came for a graduation dinner and this place did not disappoint- the buffalo wings and biscoff cheesecake you have to try if you visit. We had a lovely waiter called Omar who was very attentive and made the experience special.

Visited helvedere 3 times now and staff have always been really lovely and accommodating. Came for dinner last week with our baby who was being very fussy and Isabel was amazing, she went above and beyond to make sure that the baby and ourselves were comfortable and had everything we needed. Thank you Isabel - it made a world of difference !

Loved this place. It was recommended to me. The food was great, I ordered the lamb and chicken Kofte, which was served with rice and sautéed vegetables. They served big portions could not finish it. The staff was welcoming through out, the atmosphere was buzzing. We did not want to leave after we finished our food, but it was a Saturday evening and it was getting so busy. Would definitely go again.

Probably one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in a long time. Left us feeling amazing. Food was really healthy, obviously fresh and actually listened when I told them I have an onion intolerance. Massive tasty cocktails and highly recommend the lamb cutlets. The style and layout was pretty cool also. Friendly staff and wasn’t waiting long for service either. Was a little expensive but was worth it. The young lady that served us (with the nose ring) was very sweet and went extra mile to have a little conversation with us. We will 100% be back!!

Food: really good food. For starter just had bread and dips, was nice. For main had the the meat mix grill and was delicious. For desert I had the biscoff cheesecake and it was AMAZING. Price: its expensive, but the food quality is lovely. Drinks are expensive with a bottle of efes costing £6. Atmosphere: really good atmosphere. Went on a Monday evening and by 8pm was busy. Mostly a young crowd and ranged from friends having some food and catch up, mates having a drink, and even a small group having a sheisha and playing cards. Felt like a holiday vibe! Decor: good decor. The 'outside but inside' bit is great. But if you don't like smoke best to sit inside - lots of valine and smoking Shisha and if the big windows are shut it gets a bit smokey, but it didn't bother us and I don't smoke! Summary: lovely restuarant aimed at the younger crowd (outside at least). Pricey but great food. Would be good to go with mates.
