    I used to buy a lot of sportswear at Sports Direct, and I have bought a wetsuit for going to the beach at this branch in Kingston a week ago. When I was paying for the item, their staff told me if I paid by cash, I can refund it within 28 days back into cash. However, I ended up forgetting to bring the wetsuit with me when I went to the beach this Monday, and when I went into the store today to return the item, the staffs were impolite and stressed and warned me that I should know my consumer right, as it can *only* be returned into a credit note (mind you it is just a receipt that could’ve been easily lost) or exchanged to another item. I feel scammed about this matter, even if your company is on the brink of bankruptcy, the least you could do is at least keep the customers who frequently visit your store by keeping to your words. I will be doing my sportswear purchases elsewhere like JD or Amazon, as I am totally given up hope on this store’s reputation.

    I have genuinely never been so shocked by lack of service. I actually left in tears. I only popped it to collect an online order. It took me over 15minutes to even get to the customer collection point as it’s located in the second floor and I had a toddler with me in a buggy. When I finally got up there and got my item, it was absolutely huge so I asked if I could see the next sizes down, I was directed to the next floor down… fab another 8 minutes waiting for the lift and finding someone to help. When I finally found a member of staff to help I was told “it was not her job to find items in store for me and I could look myself”. When I finally found the World Cup shirts, they were on a rack a little higher than I could easily reach so I again asked for some help as my toddler was losing the will to live considering the length of time we’d been in the store. I was told no. And when I asked if she could check the stock I was told me there was no stock checking if it was there it was there. At this point I demanded for her to get off her high horse and help me to find the item. She walked over to the rack of shirts, turned around and said, “nope” without even looking. At this point I asked for a refund, to which I was told I had to go back up to the second floor…. Off I went again, toddler screaming, up to the second floor, where I was told that I can’t have a refund. I can only have store credit. When I explained how rudely id been treated and I just wanted to get rid of this item so I could leave, I was told I had to deal with it online and I could pay another £4.99 for the pleasure of having it re delivered to the store. At this point with no help, and item which I couldn’t return, the present for my husband not now arriving in time even if I reordered it again today. I ended up in tears (utterly mortified) I will never shop here again, and I think several of your staff need some education in customer service. Absolutely disgusting!

    If there was a 0 star review that’s what I would give to the treatment of customers. The lady who works there was very rude and unhelpful she rolled her eyes at me, after staring at me for a good 10 minutes I approached her she served me. When I approached the manger of the store to complain about his staff attitude he shooed me away and said I’m talking with my staff you and I will deal with u when I can. Well if the manger treats customer in this rude manner and has no clue about customer care the mannerism and respect one should give to customers well what more can one say about training his staff in the correct way. Absolutely appalled how this can be allowed and having looked at other reviews many customers feel the same way about this particular manager. Never going back to this store again.

    So unbelievably rude to customers it beggars belief. The amount of money I have spent at this place and to be treated like that is incredible. The manager and one particular member of staff was so rude and dismissive. If you don’t know how to treat people decently please find a job thats not in the service industry. Safe to say I will never spend another penny in sports direct again. What a shame.

    Really disappointed with the behaviour of the staff and the manager. I do a lot of shopping from Sports Direct. This was the first time that I needed to return an item. It was a top, one of many items which I purchased only 2 days ago. The top still had the tags and was completely new. Instead of helping I then received a lecture from the teenage staff saying they're not obliged to give a refund and how I should check online that's not a statuary right. They said the best they can do is exchange it. Other than the actual right to a refund, the tone was shockingly rude and condescending. When we approached the manager, the teenager was already wispering in his ears. As soon as we approached, the manager, basically shooed us away saying "I'm talking to my staff. Can you go away and I'll talk to you afterwards?!" The tone was unbelievably rude and I tbought with this kind of manager, it's no wonder you the staff that roll their eyes and behave in a passive agressive way. I would stay away from Sports Direct in Kingston. They really lack basic courtesy and respect for customers.

    This store doesn't give refunds. It offers exchange or credit notes only. I purchased some trainers and changed my mind, they didn't have the ones I wanted so I compromised. I was about to take them back and remembered their policy of no refund. No other shop in Kingston operates on this basis, they don't care about their customers. This kind of practice is just wrong , no respect or consideration for the customer.

    One of the worst customer service I've ever dealt with. It was a few weeks ago before Christmas and when I was paying for a jumper (a Christmas present) I asked at the beginging of the transaction politely for a gift recipt with the normal receipt. Well first the guy who was serving me acted like he never heard of a gift recipt 🙄 and I dont know what he did but he mucked something up and couldnt give me a gift receipt just a normal one -I mean fair enough we all make mistakes and I know it's not the end of the world but then the other cashier next to him was trying to make me go saying you can still return the item with the normal receipt but I said that's not the point I still need a gift receipt , I was starting to get annoyed by this point. Anyway eventually a manager came over and said we cant give it to you now as the transaction is complete. Another customer said just return it and redo the transaction-fine can I do that ? "You can but need to go upstairs for it" now this wouldnt of been a problem if any of the sales assistants were apologetic or helpful but all 3 of them (manager included) just spoke to me like they couldnt be bothered and basically didnt care. In the end I gave up I said is normal receipt in the bag "yes" when I checked no receipt at all and the guy had shoved the jumper in the bag . Honsetly I know sports direct is cheap but c'mon all three of them were so rude one of the worst services I've ever experienced Dont shop here

    Online ordering was easy and no issues with delivery. The purchase was a gift, which arrived on time. The product was a good brand and I don't believe there were any problems there either.     Great as long as you don't want to return anything and get your money back. They don't do money back here. Once you've handed over your money it belongs to Sports Direct and you'll never, ever see it again. Forget refunds, forget your money.

    I've always had a good experience here. It's a three storey store so you have a good chance of getting what you want (once I they did have trainers my size in stock and the assistant checked other branches for me and told me they had them in Colliers Wood). It's also always brilliant for collecting online orders, which is always handy if you park on the free 20 min bay on East Road.

    my experience today its SOOoo BAD!!! I wish putting ➖ 1 stars! This so lower customer service I sown in my life.I spend 25 minutes looking for fitting rooms and I still don’t find 😹😹😹😹😹это пиздец полный! The Staff don’t know anything in a shop where they work 😭😹They just ping pong me for any floor to find fitting rooms.They don’t understand sizes.I was waiting manager and HIS still not responding any problems.кароче придурки

    As a regular customer I was shocked by the treatment of this young staff member by these customers who were a family of three a daughter mother and dad who not only openly threatened this young women but openly were bragging about how they would report her on google and get her “cancelled” for doing her job I’ve never felt so sick and disgusted in my life . This poor staff member was just trying to do her job and looked now more than 17 and suffered racial abuse and this family tried to film her and take pictures of her to get her hassled online by a family who should of know better !!!!!! If that was my daughter I would be so mad !!!!! how could you treat someone like that?? As a father I hope this never happens to hes own child 😤😤😤😤😤😤😤

    We had a good time here. Plenty of shoe options for the whole family. While there is plenty of friendly staff, it was not that easy to find help in some sections. There is understandably a line between service and stalking, which needs to balance Overall we got what we needed at a good price.

    we pick 2 black umbrellas and ask the sales lady om the 1st floor if the same..she said yes.. when qe looked at it..one of unbrella is completely diffrent with wrong tag.. its her mistakes but she said we need to go up if we want to change it. i cant bliv with tlher mistake i need to go up to the second floor wirh my kid to exchange her mistakes and from there it took us ages to wait in a que for this... disaster

    Sell stuff online cheaper and when you go in to buy rather than pay delivery they won’t charge you online price. Charge deliver even to a store? Need a decathlon in Kingston!

    By far the best selection of trainers in Kingston with prices starting from the low £20s up to designer brands at silly prices. One star off for painful wait for staff - one person for the trainers section when I was there.

    Honestly.. I don't know what to think of this place. 😕. It's a place that sells shoes.. but the customers are encouraged to sit on the floor to try on the shoes. If you're a child or short.. you might get stepped on !

    I love sports direct. The prices are very reasonable and the staff is really lovely. Its always very busy on the weekends but they make sure they're working fast enough to help all the customer.

    Shops are ok but the app for this company is GARBAGE. No way to edit or cancel orders, zero customer service , webchat is slow, unresponsive and keeps on crashing, even on WiFi. Do not use the app for Sports Direct - it’s a horrendous experience.

👍👍 Awesome experience. The boutiques within are obviously high-end designer items, but the overall experience is lovely. Everyone is really nice and the food hall is SO COOL. Definitely hop in for a snack or a drink at the very least.
