Had a quiet time at the garden after a long day of exploring the Tower of London and surrounding areas. It is a beautiful park and i think it qualifies as a historic site in its own right. A must visit for tourist to the Tower of London.

A great place to take some time out. Whilst I found the surrounding area really busy I was surprised how quiet it was in here.

Just passed by on our hike around London this August. Less for rest, more for ceremonies.

Beautiful historical site which commemorates the naval history and recognizes the men that lost their lives during World War Two even if their remains were not found. Other points of interest are a giant sundial and a compass. Semi quiet place as it’s surrounded by roads around the tower bridge area.

Chanced upon Merchant Navy Day commemorative service and reunion at the Merchant Navy Memorial. Great to see veterans and current seamen and women paying their respects

Opposite Tower Hill Tube exit. A bit of tranquility from hussle and bussle of tourists heading towards the Tower of London. You can have a picnic on the grass or sit on the chairs that surround it. There is several monuments to sailers that lost their lifes at sea.

Very nice park to sit and reflect. Also has a tribute and memorial to all those who sacrificed themselves for a better future. Worth a visit.

Hidden history. Site of 124 executions, but you would never know this as only a tiny area is dedicated to the original scaffold and no signage states what the park was 500 + years ago. Across the the road is the Tower of London (palace) only 7 executions took place there and they charge good money to look around there!

Trinity Square Gardens, next to Tower Hill underground station is a small garden that includes the memorials to the men and women of Merchant Navy and Fishing Fleets who lost their life at sea during the First and Second World Wars. It also includes a memorial at the approximate spot of the scaffold where the prisoners of the Tower were executed and has a number of plaques listing the names and year of execution of many of the more well-known victims. There is also a memorial in the south east corner to those of the Royal Fleet Auxiliary and Merchant Navy who lost their lives during the the Falkland (Malvinas) Conflict.
