We came here recently on a Wednesday. The food was very tasty, and the portions were good. Price wise, it was decent, and It was very quiet for a Wednesday, but we didn't mind. We will be definitely coming back! :)

Mediocre food and ambience. I tried the chaat and the harabhara kabab , neither of them tasted great. My son and husband tried the fried rice and jeera chicken, again just average. Cocktails however were good , we tried the Udta punjab and Blue velvet Margarita . Wouldn’t recommend it if you are looking for the best Indian food as it is bland here. Not sure what the hype is about!

We had a house party and ordered food from Desi hype. The food was amazing, everyone loved it. It was hot and nicely packed. We will definitely order again and go to the restaurant often. Highly recommended!

Just been there today for lunch with the family of 8 people. Everybody enjoyed their delicious food, drinks, quick and friendly service and nice atmosphere. Their sizzlers are the best in our whole area, chilli garlic mushrooms, tandoori mushrooms, dal makhani are very yummy. Owner is always friendly, helpful and very accommodating to the customer needs. Went there yesterday and enjoyed the live music. Food was delectable specially the salt and pepper fish and chicken chettinna stole the show. Lovely staff with friendly and smiling faces. Definitely going back again!

If you want to get an delicious taste of Indian food , then Desi hype is the option for you. I visited this restaurant on last Sunday. The food as well as service are great. We liked each dishes we ordered. Must recommend to all.

Based on having a few takeaways from this place, we decided to visit for a sit down meal - and ended up having the worst experience. The service really lacked, with the staff having to repeat the orders numerous times before they got it right. The food was average when it did end up coming out (we had to ask at least 3 times over the space of 50 minutes). However, most of our group ended up with food poisoning and suffered for a few days after eating here. I wouldn't really recommend this place to be honest - it's great for a takeaway but we would never go back to eat in.

Overall okay... waiters were pretty clueless for a lot of the menu related questions we had including basics around portion sizing which was odd, so there was a lot of back and forth between various members of staff to place our initial order in the first place. Originally they'd seated us on a seriously cramped table for 6 people which after we'd moved realised they would have only had to move us anyway for being next to a musician performing later in the night. Food was nice, however came in separate stages for starters so we had to state the obvious of please bring all the food together at the same time as we're a party of 6 and obviously ordering larger portion sharing dishes. Would probably say better to stick to getting a takeout from them as 2 members of our party wound up ill from that night.

My experience at Desi hype was great. My silver necklace had fallen down the sinks drain in the restroom. The staff took an extra effort to find it for us and give us the best possible service. The food was also delicious and the ambience made our evening perfect.

Amazing food quality and quantity both and the staff was very friendly and helpful especially Kunal the manager who looked after us so well.. Have been here few times recently and the new management is doing absolutely fantastic. Would highly recommend them, especially on Friday and Saturday they have live music, and Karoke nights...real fun...

Amazing food! One of the best we have had in London, cooked by a wonderful chef. Did not compromise with anything, every cooked to the absolute best! Loved the atmosphere as well and the setting. Also wonderful working staff who served us very well. Definitely recommend to any one else :)

Amazing food, there was live music which was fun , but the service wasn't so great, it was about slow and 1 of the dishes we ordered never arrived at our table, nonetheless it was a great outing

I was there for a Birthday party. Desi Hype chef team did not disappoint me. Starters was to my taste. Highly recommended if you like medium to spicy food.

Excellent food, excellent service and excellent management. We hosted a lunch after our baby shower and had the whole restaurant. Everything was seamless and the whole family loved the lunch! We will definitely be coming back!

Avoid Fridays; they have a very loud karaoke performances; the singers are really good but the volumes are way too high and almost made us deaf. The same set up would be amazing with just 20% less volume. As of now you forced to only listen to their cacophonous noise. Food is excellent.

Would have given it a 5 , the food is excellent would give it a 5 but the manager seems like serious all the time, smile, communicate be frank brother life is short be happy with what you are doing. He was a bit rude but I don't really care about the customer service when the food is good. Anyways next time I will definitely come and I want to see that thin guy's smile on his face while approaching the guest. Thanks for the good food though.

Spectacular and Priceless service! I booked the entire venue for my Nikaah last week and I must say, I was blown away by how professional, warm, friendly and welcoming Krutan was when planning my event. We opted for the set menu which I must say was great value for money and the food as always was of priceless quality. I can’t say that I have any complaints what so ever. I’ve eaten at Desi Hype a few times in the past and I was really excited to host my event with Krutan. Him and his team really lived up to the expectation and gave myself, my husband and our loved ones a lovely reception. I would highly recommend this restaurant for all events and special occasions. The overall cleanliness and aesthetics of the restaurant are very classy and sophisticated for an intimate event. The food is to die for, my mouths watering thinking about the sev papdi chaat and butter chicken! Service was terrible. Waiters walked around with their heads down all the time so it took ages to flag anyone down. Didn't get proper glasses for water so had to use the wine glasses on the table and any time anything was brought it was just dumped on the table and then the waiters quickly ran away (even the wine was just plopped on the table, the bottle wasn't opened or poured into the glasses). The food was underwhelming too, nothing bad but nothing really good either, and most of it was a little bland to be honest. With so many better Indian restaurants relatively close by i would strongly recommend you skip this one.

This place is now a family favourite, the food is tasty and more importantly the young children love it so makes it a convenient place for the whole family. The owner and staff are attentive. Handle big groups well, we have had groups of 14, 18 and 28 and all had a great time.

We have been to this amazing restaurant in Harrow several times and we can't praise it enough. It is the perfect place for any family celebration, lovely staff, live music on Fridays and excellent food. We always have an amazing time and highly recommended it. Megna and family!

Doing vegetarian for February so decided Indian food will have a better choice when eating out. Googled and found Desi Hype with good reviews. Amazing food and very reasonable priced. Will definitely be back
