Unique, great place to chill. Not your run of the mill bar. Good vibes, great drinks, good peeps. Update after a few years; better than ever. Always stop by when I'm in the neighborhood.

My wife and I stumbled in, just walking around. Chill atmosphere, bar staff was nice and friendly. Cold Beer -805 was my favorite. Not fancy but if looking for a chill place for a drink, stop by. Cash only bar....

Great spot, warm and inviting. Single pool table if you're up for a game and a few booths. Staff is amazing and Dave is literally the best ever! Looking forward to many return visits

I have been coming to this bar consistently since 2014. When I say this is the cleanest bar I have every been to, I mean it is the CLEANEST bar I have ever been to. It's always such a chill, down to earth place to come kick it with friends, family, or for date night. So if you're looking for a good East Arts District place to grab a good drink from, this is your go to. Don't forget your cash!

The world is full of places like this, anomalies hidden in plain sight, easy to miss but undeniably amazing. A little corner of the earth where memories are made, random humans drift together and then drift apart. Keep being there.

GREAT SPOT FOR DRINKS! Bartender was really nice the drinks were well made and NOT expensive but it’s cash only. I Love this place! Just make sure to bring ID Because they check everyone and won’t let you in with out it.

Its a mellow vibe. Place is clean and hasnt changed much in years if at all. Which can be a good thing. Same female bartender through out the years. But the Same smug face and snarky comments for some odd reason. Also if you order the same thing all night you will notice she will up the price on your drinks or start short changing you. A few people with me started noticing that as well... If your into that sort of thing slide on in this is your spot. Notes for patrons, no kitchen here. And they do sell a couple snacks but nothing creative. Like The Red Rooms pickled egg for example. Better yet probably go when Daves there but if the skinny lady is working, try somewhere else with better service.

The atmosphere is nice and has a local, comfortable feel. The staff is also friendly. But the cocktail doesn't really taste good. If you're not the type of person who orders cocktails, this might be the place to go.

Nice place to spend sometime with friends. Nice and cozy atmosphere. People have fun, drinking beer, playing pool. Very nice and friendly bartender 😊.

I love this place! I have lived and visited places coast to coast in United States and several countries overseas and I have to say this is one of the best bar/pubs I have every been in. The bartenders are super friendly and go out of there way to make you feel welcome and all the customers I ran into are more than willing to chat with you and make you feel like a regular. Anyone who wants to run a successful business needs to take pointers from this place. And to the crew at House of Haden, thanks for making my trip so much more enjoyable 😃

Cool Long Beach Spot. Great jukebox selection if you like your music in the punk rock/country end of things. For some reason, there was a lot of stainless steel everywhere in the decor. Be sure to look up in the rafters for Easter eggs.

Only been once but it’s a nice spot. Bartender was friendly, very big inside so tons of room to spread out, decent prices from what I ordered. Like a very polished dive bar, like there’s actually soap and towels in the bathroom but you get a nice homey feel. Would go back!

One of the best neighborhood bars in Long Beach. David and Jackie have put a lot of love into the House of Hayden.

The bartender there is so attentive and is awesome. The atmosphere is relaxing and easy, but a fun vibe. Great place. It is cash only, but don't worry, they have an ATM 🏧 machine inside. 🍻

Awesome neighborhood bar with great vibes. Jackie or Vera is usually working when I’m in, and they’re both great. Friendly, welcoming, and full of advice about the area for those new to or visiting Long Beach. The Halloween decorations were also top notch.

One of the Coolest Bars in SoCal…it’s Cash only $$ there is an ATM. Btw the owners hang at the bar low key & will go behind the bar to make drinks for friends. Respect to Dave, he Fuk’n knows his drinksI spent a few hours on thanksgiving here. Beautiful vibes & taste.

Great Bar! Great Staff! Great drinks! Safe place and likely one of the cleanest bars you'll ever walk into. It is an environment open to everyone, but is a great local hang out. Truly a very unique neighborhood bar!

Dave pours a damn good drink!! Cool place, cool vibe, great music, even on an early Thursday evening. Bunch of cool locals here! Look up and around. Hidden pieces of funky art everywhere! If you’re lucky, he might pour the rooster tail shots… hawwwt daaayyumm!!!

If I could give negative stars I would. They advertise close at 2am but close at “bar time “ Which is a made up construct that they control. Passive aggressively tried to make us leave from the moment we walked in. Poor bourbon selection, really no redeeming qualities

Pretty interesting dive bar. Cool decore and a jukebox stocked with rock albums. The service was prompt and you can tell the bartenders know their regulars by name. Interesting toilets.

Great bar, Dave is a totally cool dude. Mixed us lots of interesting drinks. Ask Dave to mix a Nebraska Lunchbox or a Rooster Tail.
