We had an okay time here. Prices are average . Service was attentive without being overbearing. One star down for our oysters not showing up till after we got our meals but that’s okay- according to my husband they were worth the wait. The restaurant itself is roomy and big. Loved all the kangaroo decorations and paintings ! My burger was delicious.

Sad. The water tasted like mold. Made me sick just drinking it. I ordered the prime rib dip and it was absolutely greasy everywhere. My boyfriend got the fish and chips and they were also greasy a lot as well. The waiter was nice though and kept coming to ask if we needed anything. Great hospitality but really greasy food and terrible water.

This was mine and my husband's first time here along with our friends and their kids. What a cute spot!!! The service was stellar by both hostess and our server and the food was delicious! My husband had their gumbo and I had a bowl of their fisherman's chowder and a side of Cajun tots. We sat out on the patio which I'm sure at night the Twinkle lights add to the relaxed ambiance. The featured drink is their spicy blackberry margarita

Amazing Chowder. One of the best I have ever had. The Jumbo Gumbo was delicious as well, just enough heat to break a sweat but not enough to over power all the other wonderful flavors. Shrimp was cooked to PERFECTION. 3 Kids got the Joey cheeseburger with fries and all 3 were done before I could even snap a picture. Server was on top of everything. Best service I've gotten in a LONG TIME. Definitely recommend. If they could handle our family of 9 they can handle yours.

The Lost Roo is very inviting and festive, good food and friendly staff. The host was nice and accommodating, Britteny D the was my server, she was very friendly and provided excellent service! Enjoyed the Columbia River Steelhead (served with rice and vegetables). Compliments to the chef the dish look like it was from a fancy restaurant.

First time trying this place and it was great. Staff was friendly. Food was good. The drinks were good. The place has a great atmosphere. Great decor. Has a family section and a bar area. The restroom was very clean and wheelchair accessible. They also have a family restroom which is great for people with kids. Ample parking. Located right on the main street into Long Beach. We went on a busy Saturday and they warned us they were a little short staffed, but they did great. Will definitely eat here again next time I'm in Long Beach!

The food was good the shrimp cocktail however was a hard pass they were salad size shrimp and soggy. The Jambalaya and Halibut were cooked well. The Crab Mac and Cheese was $30 and full of shells. This is a cute town the service was good and they had plenty of seating.

Quick stop here for drinks and came back the next night for dinner! Ordered the Coconut Margarita and although it was no longer listed on the menu, they were able to quickly whip up two of them for us to enjoy. Also had a Goose Point Oyster Shooter that was only $3.50 AND you get to keep the shot glass as a souvenir. For food, we tried the Wicked Fries (w/ cheese curds and Guinness gravy), Loaded Nachos, and the Spicy Ahi Tuna Tower. Everything was bursting with flavor! Great service and atmosphere! Perfect gathering spot for sports fan as well. Will definitely come back the next time we’re Long Beach.

We all enjoyed the Lost Roo. Family friendly with a great menu. My wife got the spicy ahi tower and loved it. I went with the classic burger and kids both went with kids meals.

This is pub style chillaxing at its best. Good grub, good drinks, great employees and fun decor. We like the location, it's easy to find. If you are hauling an RV, they've got some room for you. Consider staying at a property within walking distance so you can enjoy more than one cold beer or fruity cocktail. We love the fish and chips, the burgers and the salads best. This place has a lot of history and has been around in one form or another for a long time, but this one is the best. What to know: no air conditioning, although they do open things up for some fresh air on hot days. There's a bar area with tv screens to watch sports with your friends. A bit of a holler when goals or runs are scored is perfectly fine. The crowd is mixed, with oldsters and families, young people and groups just hanging out and catching up. The Lost Roo is an asset to the community as a gathering and relaxing place. Recommended for sure!

We showed nearing closing and they treated us like we were the first people there and didn't rush us. Sat outside and enjoyed the crab mac and cheese and their gumbo! Yum! Would love to visit again if we are in town to have that gumbo again! Quick weekend trip!

This was one of the best places I have eaten in quite some time, We had the flash fried calamari (so delicious) appetizer. Entrees was the shrimp Louie, which was loaded with shrimp, bacon, fetta, olives, and vegetables. Lastly, the prime rib dip will make you hurt yourself. This was the best dip sandwich of any kind I ever had. This is a must stop.

Food was ok, our waitress was amazing. We got there on a Friday around 1:30 pm and did not have to wait, there was plenty of space. There is a kids menu, note the Mac and cheese on the kids menu is the Kraft one, but if you order the bacon Gouda Mac and cheese from the regular menu, you can split it and taste way better (I just did not like they charged $2 for splitting that meal). Parking is enough but if you need more there are also option at the back of the restaurant.

I have nothing but compliments all around from my experience here. The food was great, their firecracker chicken wings are delicious. The service was excellent from start to finish and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I would put this place as I must eat at if your visiting Long Beach. For us we ate here both days we stayed lol

3 of us went in today. Our server was great and the food was pretty tasty too. We arrived at 530 or so, just before the Friday rush. We were seated pretty quickly. On order was the Gumbo, Oregon Shrimp Melt, and Flatiron Steak Salad. Gumbo: it was spicy for my partner and "didn't taste like Louisiana gumbo." From my observation, it seemed like a healthy amount of meat and shrimp in the bowl. Steak Salad: From a picky eater who is pretty frugal, "This was really good." And "I'm actually happy with my salad." It came with half an avocado (yum!) And had a good amount of variety. The Steak was cooked pretty well too. Shrimp melt: had some good flavor, came with a side salad and was tasty. The foccocia bread was soft and easy to eat too. Shrimp was the tiny shrimp, which I expected. We also ordered fries. They are more the thicker cut kind. When we left around 7, it was PACKED. The rodeo is in town and The Lost Roo seems to be one of the only decent places to eat in Long beach. Overall really liked all of the options. I want to come back and try more.

Excellent caesar salad, just needed a few anchovies. Outstanding lamb burger and super fresh and crispy fries. Fisherman's chowder was yum squared. Service was fun and proficient. Go there, outstanding menu. The picture tells the story.

Awesome place. Great atmosphere, family friendly. Waiter was awesome, great with the kids, making them feel involved in picking their food. I believe his name was Shawn. Great dude did an amazing job. Really cares about his customers. Food was on point and price points were great. Awesome for a tourist town with normal bigger city restaurant prices.

The atmosphere is trendy and family friendly very urban chic brewery kind of vibe. The portions are generous without being excessive and the prices are fair. The staff were absolutely the best part of the experience! Friendly, patient, efficient, and attentive without hovering. They even allowed me to choose my table rather than plunking me down in the bar as often happens as I usually dine alone. Unfortunately the food was uninspiring...at least if your vegan. Unlike the Pickled Fish this restaurant treats vegans as an afterthought rather than a fact and consequently my only choice was to start substituting. They do offer a bean burger but its nothing special. The food was okay and with a good vegan sauce and vegan buns that aren't also gluten free (my condolences to everyone with an allergy), would've been good. If you're not vegan, give it a shot, everyone else seemed to be enjoying their food, if you are vegan give it a pass.
