Shopping center

😠 Well if this city place is a shopping center you sure will be surprised at why they didn't just call it "subway" or "Ross" ain't nothing to see here it's all smoke and mirrors and over embellished advertising that'll have you uber disappointed. People often mention shopping, Ross, great, stores, people, city, good, parking,

This place has really done a tremendous job with the upkeep of the shopping center. It is very inviting feels very much like family oriented location and so well maintained in every aspect from the upkeep of any litter to the well manicured vegetation.

This is Long Beach secret gem! They have farmers market type events here all the time. They have food stands, food parts, cook out food etc! Day or night this whole area always has something happening! ❤🤟🏽LBC

Tons of decent bars and eats + shopping. Still growing from the feel of it, but that’s while the sun is still up. “Grab yourself a gin and tonic, because the smell of urine wafting through the evening breeze may leave you wanting to 🤮” Cheers 🍻 In the city’s defense they have added plenty of cleaning and safety staff doing their best to keep things under control. I hope that and the watchful eyes of police patrols keeps most feeling safe. Tip your waitress and don’t drink and drive 😎

I love my local startbucks. 2 min walk from my office. Friendly staff. However the city homelessness made them close the restrooms. The few have ruined it for all.

I went to Verizon to pay my bill and the employees were prejudice. They lied to me about how much my bill was and I found out after I'd already paid the bill. I would advise people not to go there.

Seems so dry now I remember when this area used to be the indoor mall they’ve changed around a few over the years. Seems like people cannot afford their leases and it’s very expensive. I would like to see more stability here. They are some places that have been around for a while like Jean machine, Ross and Mitaki.

Just walking through the streets enjoying the cool breeze from the ocean. Being a street minister gives me the opportunity to meet people and see new businesses growing.

A lot of stores are closed and homeless people are often around because of this. Be careful in this area.

they have cool stuff on thursday nights/friday mornings. street vendors and a dj (hopefully back for summer) on thursday night, farmers market and local artisans on friday morning, food trucks and games for the family both days. just watch out for the malamute who walks slow and invades your personal space, especially if you’re a small dog. the rest of the week it’s pretty empty. the overall “mall” is more like a strip mall with a gym and art installation. with two hour free parking it’s a chill place to hang out, work out, or eat, not really to shop. boba, sushi, ramen, curry, pizza all on the same block next to gold’s and a gnc. also a great place to park the car and explore the promenade on foot down to the shoreline, having a place to eat or get a drink every other doorway. With parking being only $2/hour after the first 2 for free, it’s the best parking you’ll find in downtown.

An awesome outdoor shopping experience that suits Long Beach quite well. I'd love to see it rebound now that the pandemic has subsided.

Has a lot of convenient stores for picking up your basic needs. ie; clothes, coffee, tea housewares, restaurants etc. Come down and explore their options...Ross, Congregation, Boba tea etc.

I like walking through this place at night. I don't actually know much about it besides it's nice and clean. Very classic design. Just happens to be close to my spot.

Heartbreaking once busy and vital Center is now primarily empty. A few stores that have been there for years are still hanging on (Ross, Sally Beauty Supply, and GNC are a few). But where is Fresh Kabobs? Gone. I still miss Walmart, Fresh & Easy market, (I know, let it go). The whole downtown area has so few remaining businesses. I'm confident the future holds promise.
