Popped into this store today as it was close to the Nottm Canal where I was walking This store is HUGE with an immense range of products for the home and at very reasonable prices. There is also a cafe. I bought a throw for my settee and very pleased with my purchase. The city tram passes Dunelm so the store is very accessible but also with large car park.

I went in before Christmas looking for "Made to Measure Curtains". However the interaction was extremely disappointing. I in fact feel that the process was just to much hassle eg. emails promised and nothing, phone calls promised and nothing. Amending quotes without explanation. When asked has the "sale" discount been applied the answer came back "Yes its been subtracted automatically", when they really meant was no it been added as the price has gone way up. I provided photos measurements and the fitter has been out and confirmed my measurements, so the increase seems for the sake of it. Then for the staff to say that they "must be some misunderstanding" meaning that I have got it wrong, not when you have it in black and white on there headed paper. Well that was the fine straw, I have now chosen to go elsewhere where I will be treated as I treat other people, with respect. You have been warned.

A great store with great products, therefore, in the curtains sector, a terrible service, I believe that it is not in the right place to work, as it does not have the attitude to serve the customer. Looking at the other reviews this problem has been coming for months. Stunning that management takes no action.

Visited to get some decor inspiration. The shop consist of two levels, both with a wide selection to offer. The store has a nice size car park and is wheel chair friendly. They sell from curtains and rugs to furniture and lighting, they even sell decorating supply's. The quality of the products look good and they are also reasonabley priced. After a look around the shop we enjoyed some food and coffee at there upstairs cafe.

Good home warehouse. Shopping experience is nice, however, aisles are narrow in the ground floor. There is a cafe too. 28 days returns policy. Prices are reasonable and not in high bracket.

Well stocked store. The staff seem pretty indifferent. I asked a member of staff for my click & collect order, as it says on the collection information, to be told to go wait in the queue (which always seems long).

Spent an age here, trying to decorate a spare bedroom. Eventually found everything we needed got home and we'd picked up the wrong sized curtains. Returned the same day, no quibble, they assisted us finding the right ones. Great customer service

I would like to tell you about a young man who helped us when we used your facilities. We had seen a young man waiting in the cafe and guessed when an employee fetched him and apologised for the delay, that he was there for an interview. When I was struggling to leave the toilet area pushing a wheelchair this young man helped us. I asked if he had been for an interview and he agreed he had. I wanted to tell someone in customer care how helpful he had been but apparently you don’t have anyone in that position. This is the only way to tell you he may be just what you need. His interview must have finished about 2.00pm today 8th November. We need caring people.

Absolutely manic as went on a weekend however the store was well stocked, clean and tidy with plenty of parking. No staff anywhere to be seen other than the tills but this doesn't mean anything in a retail environment that's full of customers. Good job

Easy parking. The store is large and well laid out. Great value and high quality goods for sale. Quickly got through the tills on exit.

Poor quality products.. small holes in expensive curtains, curtain poles have a very thin colour lacquer. Im very disappointed in the quality if the side board and the tv stand. In hindsight I wouldn't buy these products. I have recently spent nearly £1000 and I feel as though I shouldn't have paid near that considering the quality.

It is very difficult to find a member of staff to gain assistance. The haberdashery items that I required were in an area, at the farthest corner plus it was on the first floor then there was only a minimal amount of products. Luckily there was a working lift, if not it would of been a wasted journey. They would of lost a customer, as I was would have gone to another provider for my items. The girl on the till gave the impression that she definitely did not want to be there. She looked terrified when I offered cssh to pay for my items, after a considerable length of time she calculated my change, then she asked me to check if she had calculated correctly. Don't schools teach basic maths anymore? I taught my children about money issues as they were growing up, adequately for the age of the child. While they were in primary school they also taught the basics of dealing with money, they were then taught more extensively whilst they were studying during their time at secondary schools. Children of today do not use money, and could not tell you what the price of each item was, because they just flash there credit cards and off they go, as if money flows out of their credit cards, they must panic when the statement arrives, then they will just get another credit card to pay the first statement, it's a vicious circle.

Very pleasant shopping stroll around the amply stocked store. Purchased the goods we required with ease and comfort. We didnt visit the Eatery Area on the 1st floor. It was about 60% occupied, so I guess it is rated well by customers. Car parking spaces are a tad tight, but certainly manageable with care. Well done Dunelm.

Thanks to Jay at Dunelm Nottingham today, who helped us pick new curtains and linings. He saw us wandering around and took the initiative to ask if we needed any help, and because we needed a set that wasn’t in store, he made the ordering process for us really easy. A very personable member of staff, and a pleasure to meet :)

😠 I'm an American, and when I visited I noticed this creepy man following me and staring at me. No staff seemed to care and made it out as if I were the agressor, while this sick man was "the victim". Awhile later after returning home, I found out that he flashes himself in the store!!!! This is unacc...
