Such a great place! You have to go there to please both your taste buds and your eyes with lovely meals on a beautiful table. Very warmly welcomed. The restaurant is very well decorated up to the tiniest detail.

This place is wonderful. I go a handful of times a year and have never had a bad meal or any issues with service. Wonderful flavoursome menus that change every month. Fresh food perfect for all and people with dietary requirements.

We came here as a group the other evening and it was lovely. The food was great and there were some very interesting and unique dishes on the menu. The service was also good and we loved the atmosphere of the restaurant with all of the quirky decorations!

Fabulous food! Really thoughtful combinations of flavours and textures. Interesting dishes that you might not have encountered before. All vegetarian or vegan, so a great choice for those who don't eat meat or other animal products. We shared a range of dishes, and loved them all. Service was also excellent - the right combination of attentive without pestering you every few minutes. Highly recommended. Book to avoid disappointment.

Lovely setting for some 2021 alfresco dining. There's no lunch menu at the moment so we had a selection of starters as an impromptu lunchtime mezze. They were all delicious, my first time trying Seitan and it was juicy and lovely. To top it off the staff were welcoming and friendly. There were cushions and blankets for when the sun went in. We'll be back soon!

Vegan review: Had a lovely dinner here, a mushroom bourgignon and garlic bread which was served with 5 salads. I also tried the ‘crab’ cakes which were super tasty. For dessert I had the chocolate brownie and ice cream, it was so good! To drink I had the golden milk and got chocolate. I enjoyed both. Would definitely come back here again and recommend it!

Consistently fabulous food, lovely atmosphere and great service, I really love Roya, although I would say their savoury dishes are usually better than their desserts

Absolutely amazing, from the hospitality to the food💖💞 We all had the rice and pea dish and it was full of flavour, my man even ate the cabbage 🥬and he told me he would never eat cabbage, or cauliflower for that matter so it must have been good! The desserts were also delicious, I had the banoffee pie 🥧 and he had the apple pie and he never usually has dessert either so now has to do about 50 pushups to work it off which won't be a problem because he's always doing them, he's also getting cabbage for dinner tomorrow now and needn't tell me he doesn't like it 🤣🤣😁😁👍👍

Just outstanding in every single way. The staff are delightful and the food is absolutely amazing. I can’t wait to come back, I love you guys!! Kudos to the chefs, the menu is absolute perfection. Everything we had was just brilliant

Mother’s Day Afternoon tea - savouries very pleasant, sweets far too sweet! But unfortunately not worth £25 with tea/drink extra. Worked out at £2.50 per tiny mouthful of food. Felt like they’d taken advantage of being Mother’s Day to charge extra. Such a shame as have waited ages to go to Cafe Roya.

This is my favourite restaurant in Nottingham hands down. Every meal I have had has been an 11/10. You could pick anything off the menu and it will be amazing. They cater well for my Dad when we go, who has coeliac disease, unlike many other places. I love the fact the menu changes every month ... it makes me try and go every month to try the new dishes !

The food was brilliant. Everything was vegetable-focused and wholesome but without feeling "health food"-y. It was just genuine, tasty, classy veggie food. Service was very good, the ambience was warm - you could come for a romantic evening or as a family. I would recommend Cafe Roya to anyone - especially as so many vegan and vegetarian restaurants are struggling to stay open now.

We absolutely love coming here, the menu is always different and exciting, the ingredients used are second to none and the service is excellent. We regularly come with our son and on both occasions the chef has created something for him either something on the menu or a new creation! I had the most interesting dessert that reminded me of my travels in India, we will be coming back regularly.

Fantastic food!! A specialist vegetarian restaurant, I am not vegetarian, but I look forward to eating here again. Every mouthful was a delight. Friendly helpful staff too. Worth every penny!

What a great find on our first Nottingham visit! 4 of us loved every dish we ordered and the desserts were heavenly too, including the delicious Peach Cobbler. I loved my Persian Brunch. Thank you, Cafe Roya.

First of all, I am not a vegetarian, my wife is, I do however eat much of what my wife enjoys. We visited Cafe Roya to try a specific vegetarian menu, something different to our normal venue. Wow, the food was amazing, so tasty, well presented and nice atmosphere. I would definitely recommend trying this place, you won't be disappointed. As Arnie said "I'll be back"

This place is incredible, I can’t believe I had never been before! I definitely look forward to coming back every month so I can try a different menu every time. Everything was packed full of flavour. Amazing dishes and great service, the lady who looked after us was super lovely and competent. Honestly one of the best meals I’ve ever had!

Stunning restaurant, fantastic food, beautiful surroundings, wonderful service, charming and diverse clientele, clearely attracts the more discerning foodies. Only thing I would say, is the front door needs improvement, it doesn't shut or open properly, and unfortunately some unpleasant youths barged in and insulted my husband while we were there dining. Despite this upsetting incident, I still want to give 5 stars, to Roya, as this was not the restaurants fault, but repairs, a better designed door, and a careful outdoor enclosure, or some other design would have prevented this from happening.

The food here was absolutely delicious. I had the specials starter and it was the best thing I've tasted outside of a Michelin star restaurant. The food is a little expensive but the taste more than lives up to the price tag. The portion sizes were also generous which is a plus.

Cafe Roya is my favorite restaurant I've ever been to on this earth! My husband is from Beeston and whenever we are in town visiting family we make it a point to eat at Cafe Roya. The staff is so friendly and the food is absolutely divine. A perfect place for a romantic dinner for a vegan and their vegetarian husband. <3

I was treated to a Christmas meal by my friend and had never visited this restaurant before. The food was truly exquisite and like nothing I’d ever had before (different and special). The service was excellent and the gentleman that served us was concerned we were not warm enough, as we hadn’t removed our coats, and provided a extra heater (very thoughtful). I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to try something out of the ordinary!

Amazing smell on opening the door. Great menu and specials. So hard to choose! The expresso martini was fantastic as was the service. All the staff were lovely and the food was superb. Genuinely the best meal I've had in years. Can't wait to go back

Absolutely the most delicious food. Very interesting flavours and different to a lot of places. Also were the friendliest lovely people and only took 20 mins for our order to be completed! Couldn’t recommend them more :)

Absolutely the best restaurant in Beeston (we like to eat out). Imaginative cooking and a very warm service.

Roya squeezed in catering for our rearranged civil partnership at late notice, despite being busy with restaurants only recently reopening after lockdown. The food was all delicious and flavorful, just like the food in the restaurant. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly recommended.

👍 This is such an awesome place with a different vibe! It definitely feels like you’ve stepped into an American diner. The staff is just the friendliest and very accommodating.
