It tables felt very greasy here. The smoke meat club, Thai chicken salad and hot dog were standard pub food items. We ate the food but it was not enjoyable. Best part of the meal was the dessert.

This was the first time at this location and it was just as good as always. The smoked meat sandwiches were delicious and exactly as requested with regards to the fat level. We also had the smoked meat poutine which was a good size and delicious. Food came out super quick and excellent service.

Pleasantly surprised. I'm a Schwartz guy, when i want smoke meat, i drive to downtown and wait in line for a Schwartz. Two days ago, my friends suggested we try Dunn's. It was in a Friday night so heading downtown for smoke meat with the traffic was a big nono. At Dunn's, we ordered the plate of smoked meat sandwich with friends, coleslaw and half a dill. When the waitress asked what type of meat, make sure you say fatty because anything leaner than medium and it's not the real savory smoke meat experience. Tastes great, a bit lighter than Schwartz but definitely really good. To all the people complaining that things were dry, don't get the lean, get the fatty meat. You're eating smoked meat, it's not healthy, just enjoy it.

While the portions were impressively generous (be ready to take some home!), I was slightly let down by the fries. They were a bit on the bland side and didn't quite live up to the flavor and texture of the other dishes. That being said, the sheer size of the servings more than compensated for this minor hiccup. You're certainly getting a bang for your buck when it comes to quantity and, apart from the fries, the quality of the food was stellar. The ambiance at Dunn's was casual and comfortable, making it a great spot for a laid-back lunch or dinner. The service was friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. While there's a little room for improvement with the fries, it doesn't overshadow the highlights of the meal – that excellent Reuben and the fantastic onion rings. I've only done take-outs with this Taschereau location, multiple times during pandemic. Smoked meat is great, I do like the downtown's location just a tiny little bit better. But still great. The reason for not 5-star: Fries have been hit or miss. In the most recent order, fries were dry and chewy, nobody enjoyed it. And that affected the expensive poutine as well. The hamburger was also dry. The hot dog is also one of the most expensive hot dogs I can find in mtl, but nothing superior. So for price, quality, and consistency, I think its nearby locations of Belle Province would have a better edge over it. Both smoked meats' are close match-ups, Dunns slightly better. It would have been a 3 star if not for the consistent and satisfying experiences with the smoked meat.

Good food, good portions, and great service. The price has gone up a lot, I am guessing because of inflation and supply chain issues, but it still kind of sucks. Still a good deli experience on the south shore cannot fault them for something happening globally. I just wanted to have my say.

I was a bit disappointed in our meal. Me and my husband both had smoke meat plates. The fries were cold and seemed to have been cooked a few times. Dried and shriveled and a blackened color. I usually am a fan of the coleslaw but this time there was a brownish grey look to the slaw. Like it had sat out at room temperature or not covered. Plus the actual taste was just blah, almost old. The waitress said they make the slaw every day. Maybe so but they missed the freshness on this batch. The smoke meat was just okay - not wow at all. I will not waste my money at this place again.

Dirty oily table. Took the club roll, description included ''stuffed chicken'' and by stuffed chicken, they actually mean slices of disgusting baloney. Yes you read that correctly. Oh and the sandwich also includes hair. Coleslaw was tasteless. Fries were just ok. Way, way too expensive. Only positive point was the waiter.

This place has no standards for quality. First of all the prices are to high for the quality of the food and the epidemic is pretty much over no need to try to sell over price. If at least it was an amazing experience for the food but everytime I go for take out the food is dry, the fries are dry, the cabbage salad seems old I could go on. 6$ extra for a poutine? Why? The sauce has nothing special and the cheese is cheap. Anyway I am done with this place and I would not recommend it. Hopefully the quality will go up and stay up but I doubt since its always been like this.

I'm not a huge fan of smoked meat but never had Dunn's so was excited to see how it would be compared to lester's and schwartz. I got the club roll smoked meat sandwich and it was actually really good. A bit salty but that is to be expected for smoked meat and salami sandwich. the fries were great too (I initially ordered the mashed potatoes but they didn't have them that night so they gave me sauce for free to compensate which is very nice of them). What made it such a great evening was the service, we were a huge group (30ish people) and not only did they have the room to accommodate us but every order was on time and correct. The waitresses were super nice and I know how hard it can be to cater to a big party but they did it with ease. Great for large groups!

Good service and decent smoked meat sandwich. Slightly salty but goes well with pickles.

This place is a good place to eat. Lots of tables and booths. Had the smoked meat sandwich with fries. Great portion, was full after that. Waitress was amazing. I will go again in the future.

Definitely diner style and the convenience of a 24hr smoked meat place is a business model that other cities could do to replicate. Food is good but by no means the best in the city. Very much worth stopping in for a midnight snack. The smoked meat egg rolls, definitely get some of those.
