😠 Old place was better. Portions were small. I ordered lentil soup and it looked like someone drank half of it because it filled half of the container. Chicken was dry. Pricey. On and on and on… pyramid for me was a place I could go and get good food. Now, disappointing. What happened? It used to be so good, but it's not the same. The atmosphere is odd, like they tried to keep their Mediterranean theme but modernize it, it just doesn't work - and everything is style over substance, the booths are nice looking, but very uncomfortable. My 6 foot husband had trouble with the table height & distance from the seats, much less myself & two kids. They had no booster seats to offer my kids, only highchairs (my kids are too big for those). Ordering through the little machine was not convenient or easy, and the servers seemed very nice but often inattentive & didn't know the menu well. They rely far too much on the automated system. I overheard several people struggling with the system. The food was pretty good, but not as good as I remember. I had a gyro sandwich, tasted great, but the fries it came with were stale & cold - I asked for fresh fries, and they brought me a piping hot basket of fries that were somehow even tougher than the cold ones. Very disappointed. My kids enjoyed their pizza & kabob, my husband liked his gyro salad just fine, but commented that it didn't quite hit the authentic feel that it had before. The baba ghanoush was much oiler & had less flavor than we were used to. Over-all, for the price we paid, we were pretty dissatisfied. I suppose we would still go back if we needed something out of the ordinary, as Mediterranean & Greek food is some of my favorite & sometimes you just need something different - but I wish it was up to the standards that it used to be before it moved locations.

Great food and incredible service! We tried the lamb stew and chicken soup with our kebab meals. I had one chicken and one gyro - both were fantastic! It was very apparent they were short on staff but the only waiter was hauling and making sure everyone was served and got refills on drinks when needed! He was incredibly friendly and acted very calm despite the situation he was in. I should mention they may have been short staffed since their credit card machine was down on our visit so they were only taking people who could pay with cash. We will definitely be back for pick up or sit down once we move to the area!

Be aware - the food got unrecognizably bad - at their new location. It was my bd - we ordered two kabob plates, both kinds of gyros and chicken with rice. Well, I tried to figure out what was in my kabob - chicken or beef - it would be better described as over processed hotdog cubes that resembled spam meat that was grilled at some point but got reheated in oven or microwave later with some wilted vegetables. I never had kabob that had some kind of unrecognizable ground meat in it, when you expect solid chunks?. The gyro lamb wasn't better either, and all three gyro dishes came with some old shriveled green skinned potato fries (yes, the ones you supposed to not eat). They tasted very bitter and all three sets were not edible. Third, the chicken rice dish - our chicken came shredded, loaded with lemon juice taste to cover up chicken being old. And the rice - it wasn't good either. It definitely looked good and yellow, but had no flavor and looked like they used the most cheap basic rice you can find - no traces or jasmine or basmati. The only thing we could eat without discomfort was some store bought pita bread and yogurt dip that unfortunately did not fill up our hungry belly's. And to add more pain to experience, their seating was crowded with just a foot between the table and chairs, bearly any passing room around us, we had to get up to allow wheelchair person to pass by. The server just brought us food and disappeared, serving entire restaurant with us trying to get any attention. He also spilled beer on the adjacent table on family with a baby in the stroller when serving. The suffered family decided to move to different table, instead of leaving. Think twice and save your money - any drive thru food is better than this in this town. I would at this point drive an hour someplace else than be resorted to this. Definitely wasn't the best place to make your birthday special.

Best place for takeout in Los Alamos and nice for dining in, too. You can't go wrong with their falafel, it's consistently good. Gyro and chicken are great, too. Their pita is fresh and delicious. The fries are good, especially dipped in tzatziki sauce. Prices are very reasonable for falafel and sandwiches.

This place is AMAZING! Not only is the food to die for, the staff is as friendly as can be. We got a Caesar Salad ( not hard to mess up but hard to make memorable which they did!) and Bacon Wrapped Filet Mignon (cooked perfectly) paired with a gin and tonic and an old fashioned. Highly recommended! The robot waiter is a nice touch!

Hidden gem here in Los Alamos. Food is always good and reasonably priced. Might not be as good as what you'd get in a big city but it certainly does the job.

I will start with the food was great. We loved what we ordered and drinks were made very well. My only complaint was their ordering system. It was not well put together. I shared this with the staff and they understood and were very gracious host. I will end this by saying that I will try it again in the future.

On 5/26/2023, we visited the LA Cantina. We ordered the al pastor tacos, picanha tacos and a chicken sandwich along with a margarita, mojito and a root beer. Total was ~$64 before tip and included taxes. We liked the mojito and rate the margarita as average. Both tacos were great, however, the black beans were lukewarm and not to serving temperature. I did not try the chicken sandwich but my son said it was good. The staff seemed friendly and helpful but after we sat down and were given a hard copy of the menu, we saw a staff person twice (once to input a code for the adult beverages and second when those beverages arrived). You order from a Square kiosk at your table and it works just fine. However, you are asked to pay and tip upfront. I dislike this setup since I want to tip based on the service I receive and not what I expect to receive. I think that’s a fair approach for tips. The robot that delivers the food is interesting and fun. The robot seems to find their way around well enough and we had no problem retrieving our food from it. I realize this is a newly setup restaurant and there will be some growing pains. With that in mind, we liked the taste of our food but there should be more attention to patrons after the food is delivered. We had silverware for 2/3 people at the table and we would have provided immediate feedback that the beans were not at serving temperature. Both of those issues could easily be resolved if someone comes by within a few minutes of the food arrival. While it may not be possible, I would prefer to run a tab as we go so we can easily add more drinks and tip at the end. We tend to tip well but held back bc we didn’t know what to expect. We likely would have ordered a set of two mojitos but didn’t want to hassle with waiting to flag down a staff member and go through paying again. Also, why not offer both menus whether you sit in the Cantina or the Pyramid Cafe? The kitchen is the same and this would accommodate varied taste within patron groups. I applaud the owners for this updated approach here in LA and hope they continue to improve. As I said, the food was good and with some slight improvements, it will enhance customers’ experiences. We’ll come back after they get established and compare our experiences.

We ordered two chicken kebab dinners to-go. When we got home and tried to eat them, they were completely inedible. It was obvious the chicken was cooked several days earlier and then reheated. The chicken pieces were so hard and chewy we had to toss both dinners away. Wasted over $40 for basically garbage. Very, very disappointing.

Tried out Los Alamos Cantina ( new addition to Pyramid) with my friends for the first time today and we were impressed with the interior and really amused by the cat droids/robots that brought us our food. =^•.•^= Thought the margarita and fish tacos were pretty good. It was a really good time. Using the ordering pad at the table requires a lot of reaching across the table when we all order separately, but it wasn't a big deal. The order pad is attached to the table and you need the waiter to manually enter a code for ordering alcoholic drinks every time. I don't really have an opinion about it. The bathrooms are on the same level as the cantina.

Not a large variety of food, but i enjoy it! Also it's a wonderful spot for a cocktail or two while being served by adorable robots :P

The robot kitty that delivers your food( if you order through the tablet on the Table) PURRS when you pet her ears!!! Honestly, what else do you need?!? The food is delicious, alcohol drinks are yummy and affordably priced, and service is good. And, need I say this again??? Robot kitty delivers your food!!! Also, the interior is so pretty!! You won't feel like you are in Los Alamos anymore!!

Was hesitant about going in as the location and storefront looked concerning. Interior okay. Food was excellent (Chicken Tagine, Gyro plate, Gyro Kabobs, Spanakopita), good price. Way more food than we could eat. Good service.

This place is ok, we went later in the night and as we sat down they changed there menu to a smaller option menu. It didn't have many options. The beer was cold and the seating outside was nice, but the atmosphere was pretty stale. You watched a parking lot and listen to the band from another restaurant. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't good. The place was empty and staff was just hanging around. If this is the only place open, it's ok, but there are many better places than this one.

We visited for our first time for lunch today. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. With a party of 4, 2 of us had Cheese steak gyros, a Falafel plate and a Mediterranean plate. Best falafel we've had and everything else was spot on. We'll definitely be back when in the area next time.

Pyramid Cafe is one of our local favorites. The food is always fresh and delicious! Online ordering is so easy and curbside pickup makes it easy and Covid-safe. The baklava is incredible, save room for a piece!

First time visiting this restaurant and would just assume they have staffing issues. We were sat at a table and that was it, we were not told to order using the table tablet. Once order was placed we also figured out that food was delivered by a robotic server. That was cool to see but also not discussed or explained. Saw many people grab other people's order off of robot in confusion. The food/drink service was very very slow. Had to ask for waters that were part of our order. The appetizer we ordered was the ceviche tostada, which was good and then ordered some burgers with no bun. Just want to be fair and not be misleading with the photo. Our order took a very long time to get to the table and we had ordered regular fries and the talo fries. When we waved down a server and asked which were the talo fries he did not know, laughed and went about his business. The burgers were over cooked and dry. With all that being said I know businesses have bad days and kinks to work out. The atmosphere and setting is very appealing and I will be back and hopefully have a better experience.

My wife and I had a lovely dinner at the LA Cantina last night. Great food and atmosphere! Attentive and knowledgeable staff. Amazing cocktails and wines. I especially liked the Old Fashioned. The robotic food deliver 'cats' are really cute too!

Delicious! I had the beef marga, which was seasoned well but with subtle and delicate flavors, as was the falafel my friend had. I didn't expect to find this in a small New Mexico town (Los Alamos). I hope they have great success.

First time eating here. Friendly staff, prices are good. The stuffed sopapilla was really good. The guy who took our order says the burgers are where it's really at! Gonna try that next time.

Our dining experience was terrific. From the service to the flavor of the food. The hummus appetizer was delicious. And the baklava for dessert was excellent.

It was good to have a break from New Mexican style food. The fries on the Gyro plate were delicious as was the pita and ziziki sauce. The lamb and beef slices were however a little bland. I'm used to more flavorful meat. Service was good, prices were decent.

Cozy vibe and atmosphere and hidden Mediterranean food in Los alamos. You will order through kiosk that is placed in every table. You will pay and tip first and then you will get your food. You can use your phone and order that way, there is qr code taped at edge of the table. I ordered gyro plate and hummus and pita bread. I wish they give you little bit of veggies along with it but it is 4$ or 5$ extra. Same with pita bread, 1$ for pita bread when you order hummus. Food was decent. Enjoy!

My husband and I really enjoyed our food here. We had hummus, chicken and gyro sandwiches, and baklava and it was all so amazing. Definitely check this place out

Great food. Got 3 of the appetizer options, the gyro kebabs, and lamb stew. All tasted great. Was surprised there weren't more people, although it was close to closing and a decent number were picking up takeout. Will definitely eat here again.

Good food, horrible service. Waiter ignored allergy, brought out starters (soups and salad) way after the main course. He kept coming back to ask if we'd gotten things yet despite being the only one serving us.
