Amazing modern middle eastern food! Totally gluten free. Pita was served fresh and warm. All the dishes were beautifully plated and garnished. The service was gracious and welcoming. Definitely coming back!

We came in today for brunch and had an amazing experience. We tried the egg pie, zaatar kashkaval, zaatar labneh, and merguez manaeesh. Delicious unique flavors, wonderful ambience and service. Everyone is so friendly from the owners to the server. This place checks 5 stars for food quality, presentation, portion, and general ambience. We sat at the cute outdoor pet-friendly patio surrounded by olive trees. Our server offered water for our dog as well. This is a gluten free kitchen, so kind of a heaven for people like me who enjoy this specific cuisine, great bread and are gluten intolerant. We will be coming back soon for sure!

What a nice brunch! We enjoyed Shakshuka, falafel, eggs, and pancakes (texture like mochi pancakes). They also gave us a cookie. The place was very clean and the service was Friendly and they checked in often. As a celiac,my favorite thing was the gluten free bread. We will be back!

What a treat! I have ordered a lot of delivery from here and was excited to try it out in person for brunch with a couple friends. I usually get the falafel sandwich (pita), chocolate cake, and one or two other things. Everything is always fresh and delicious. Two of us in the party have celiac, and a dedicated gluten free restaurant is so hard to find in LA, so we were really looking forward to it. Street parking is hit or miss in the area, but there is a lot that's relatively large and seems to have high turnover so parking shouldn't be a problem. We sat inside and were one of a handful of tables in there; everyone else seemed to be out on the patio, which had pretty good shading. Everyone working there was so attentive and friendly. We ordered a bunch of food, with some modifications, and that was no problem. Everyone loved everything they got! For the starters, I tried the hummus and octopus. Both were SO good. The octopus was particularly well cooked; just crispy enough without being overdone and rubbery. The pita was so tasty we had to get an extra order. My friends had the zaatar, too, but I was too busy with the other two dishes to try. We also got the brunch special with a bottle of prosecco and choice of two juices, which was fun for brunch. Pictured is one with a (very light) portion of wildberry juice. For the mains, we got shakshuka x2 (one with goat cheese, one with merguez (sausage)). Those came with amazing french bread, which was crispy and perfect for dipping. I overordered but my friend finished the entirety of hers. My other friend got the Lebanese egg pie and it looked amazing. It was basically a perfectly cooked deep dish meets regular pizza, where the egg replaces the sauce... hard to describe but would definitely try it out. That, too, was completely gone in a matter of minutes from it being delivered. One of my friends got an iced mocha to go at the end and said it was great as well. In sum, no notes, this place is great!! We can't wait to come back.

Really enjoyed the vibe this place has. Our server was helpful but she seemed annoyed by all the questions we had and wasn’t necessarily too helpful, so we were glad when the owner/manager came by and assisted. He was really helpful with deciding what to order. The ambience was really great the food was okay it wasn’t life changing. I enjoyed the dessert more than the actual meal. Would definitely come back but just for dessert.

Superb. Gluten free, organic. Came for brunch, had the pancakes and Lebanese egg pie. Felt amazing health-wise, no postprandial crash or heaviness. Came back a couple hours later to take a couple flatbreads on the road, those were delicious and pleasantly satiating as well. Artisanal and clearly not taking shortcuts in the recipes. Excellent service.

Love that this place is ALL gluten free and soy free. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options. Favorites are the jam and goat cheese flatbread, the Lebanese egg pie, the olives, and the shashuka. Very nice outdoor dining area and indoor dining area looks nice too. Bakery is not open on Sunday. Brunch menu until 3pm on Sunday.

We've been here a couple of times - excellent!! Interesting, complex, unusual (to me, anyway) ingredient combinations. Bakery apple/walnut/cinnamon roll is amazing! Courtyard very nice with olive trees and plants. Definitely a WIN.

I stopped in for a gluten free, dairy free lunch and ordered their beef shwarma plate. It was delicious. Beef was melt in your mouth tender. I didn't need to use my knife. Hummus, rice, tabbouleh, etc were all tasty. Everything was fresh felt like home made. I ordered hot tea and was served In a tea pot that kept tea hot and served at least 2 cups. I had a lovely lunch. I didn't have time to stop in their bakery nextdoor so will have to return.

ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS! I’m born and raised LA, and this is some of the best food I’ve had here. Everything on the menu is gluten free, and the staff/owners are so kind and lovely. Great food, great energy. It’s our favorite spot when we come through ❤️😋 Always want more!

My family & I had dinner at Levant while visiting L.A. for the weekend. It was delicious. My sister loved that EVERYTHING was soy & and gluten-free. She has allergies to both & always has a hard time finding food that doesn't bother her. She was able to eat anything she wanted & it was amazing. Everyone loved it.

First time here for dinner and was thoroughly impressed. My partner has celiacs but I have no allergies. It was great to know Levant was a safe place to eat and the food was so good it was easy to forget that it was gluten free. Super refreshing that we could trust that the food was allergy-safe. Really couldn’t have been better. Flavor combinations were creative and stood out compared to run of the mill Mediterranean cuisine. Waitstaff were friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about the food they served. The portions are also very fair and their lemonade and soda options were perfect. We also got a carrot cake dessert to go and found it just as delicious as the rest of our meal. The restaurant had both very nice indoor and outdoor options and we enjoyed a pleasant evening dining outdoors. Will certainly be coming back and I recommend that you give it a try too.

There are not enough stars on Google maps to rate Levant. The food was amazing, the service was outstanding and the atmosphere delightful. I was stunned by the pita and garlic herb bread (all gluten free by the way and celiac friendly). You really notice that they have a passion for good food. Do yourself a favor grab a bit here!

Hidden Gem in East Los Angeles! This was beyond what I expected and I am already planning my next visit to enjoy their delicious food! It is mind blowing that this place offers a whole experience : the staff was really nice and greeted us upon arrival, they sat us at the garden which is a nice cozy area to have a nice conversation. When we go to the menu, I have had numerous Flat bras but this one was something else!! The sea bass was fresh and the shawarma was well seasoned and the best I have ever had! Again looking forward to my next visit soon!

First time trying Levantine cuisine, both hubby and I were pleasantly surprised with their meticulous standards and overall quality. Food was delicious, service was friendly and personable, quality was just top-notch! Appreciate them serving highly filtered water, that says a lot about how this eatery cares a lot about health. Don’t miss the dessert/baked goods, we had the Orange cake and chocolate cake, both were super moist and yummy and gluten-free. Will definitely be back to try more.

Everything was so delicious - just perfect. I mentioned to the server that I have Celiac disease - he told me that the restaurant is entirely gluten free and that I was “home.” I plan to go here every time I visit LA.

My new favorite LA discovery. I’ve walked by but never stopped in, I ordered delivery tonight and it was SO good. The plates are just the right (generous) amount of food and every single thing on it was fantastic - the pickles! The babaganouj! The lamb cooked on a cinnamon stick!! And the pomegranate kernels on the hummus were just *chef’s kiss* Proud to support a place that is Lebanese and woman owned as well.

One of the best all gluten free restaurants in LA. The pancakes were insanity and even gluten free folks would be obsessed with them. Their breads are easily some of the best GF loafs I’ve ever had. Our server was so polite and attentive. Even the coffee was delightful. Truly a gem of Silver Lake. Great for larger groups who want to splurge on a nice dinner that accommodates their friends’ allergies. Salad was a little over-dressed but it still had great flavor. Hoping this place gets plenty of business because it truly deserves it!

Loved this place. I stumbled upon it on my way to Dodger Stadium nearby and had a very enjoyable dinner. Plenty of Middle Eastern specialties on offer and the appetizers and mains we ordered were fantastic. Service was very pleasant and genial, and the atmosphere is really pleasant and enjoyable. It doesn't feel like just any restaurant, it's a beautiful place to enjoy a nice, casual meal. Everything is gluten free, but you would be hard pressed to notice the difference... Even the GF breads taste just like the regular wheat flour based version, which is about the highest compliment I can pay. Convenient parking out front.

I got the lentil soup and can’t believe how bland and unseasoned it is. If you’re going to sell one serving of lentil soup for $12, it should be at least decent. This is horrible. And I’ve never been to a place that doesn’t give any bread with soup, especially when you’re charging $12 for something I could’ve made by throwing lentils and broth into a slow cooker. To get a piece of pita, it’s $6! Unbelievable. I was excited to have this place open up next to my house, but I’m so disappointed and definitely won’t be going back. Have a look at the photo of the soup. Does it look special and appetizing or just like a bunch of broth and lentils?

Airy, fashionable mediterranean spot with indoor and outdoor seating. Their outdoor courtyard is shaded by olive trees, creating a peaceful dining environment. Gluten-free Lebanese mezze, plates, flatbreads, and sandwiches. Levant serves creative cocktails and nonalcoholic elixirs, and an abundance of delicious gluten-free desserts. Warm and attentive hospitality and service. Great option for groups seeking gluten-free, vegan, or vegetarian options.

Excellent food and great atmosphere! Highly recommend: the fig and goat cheese flatbread, the shakshuka and the grill plate!

'm not a big gluten-free fan, but my daughter is so we tried this place which was new to us. Honestly, I couldn't tell the difference, I had a fantastic garlic bread side and a gluten-free baklava for dessert (who knew). Great to have a nice Mediterranean cuisine in this neighborhood. Met the owner, who shared his gluten-free story with us, sounded very familiar and of course complicated. It is important to support these kinds of places that are pushing the envelop.
