A wonderful museum with cultural based exhibits. The front desk was welcoming and admission was free. The area around the museum is filled with culture and history. The exhibits themselves were also pretty interesting. I was only able to visit “LA Starts Here” and “Linda Vallejo” which we’re both on the first floor. There are more exhibits on the second floor, but didn’t have time to visit them. Both exhibits talk about the culture before Americans colonized California and also the discrimination and violent acts that they suffered against. The “Linda Vallejo” exhibit also had beautiful art works and statistics about the Latino population. Overall, the exhibits were interesting and was definitely worth the visit.

If you haven't been to this jewel of Mexican culture and art, you're missing a two story, professionally done space with changing exhibits. Historical and contemporary depictions of Mexican life in Los Angeles; depicted using brilliant photography, video and recreated street life spaces. It's free and open every day except Tuesday.

Its a quick walk over from Union Station and Chinatown. It was bustling with activity on a Sunday afternoon in January. There was even some sort of dance show going on. It’s a place we would visit again.

Fantastic cultural history museum. Never knew it was here and it had a wealth of history here. I'm glad I brought my son here to show him. I knew these events happened but the level of detail and personal stories helped reinforce it all. Boxing history. The way of life. Great.

This place is a gem! Great cultural center to educate the family and enjoy the exhibits and live events. Today we enjoyed the Olympic Auditorium exhibit. It brought back good memories!

I'm not a huge fan of the term Latinx. But the museum is very interesting and I'm glad there are places like this that support Mexican heritage in La. Plus it's free. Won't be here for more than an hour. The staff is friendly. Cute gift shop. They do events on weekends occasionally and have nice exhibition

There is absolutely no better place in downtown Los Angeles to hold an event especially non-profit events like Latina Fest. I always have a great time. Thank you Belle Hernandez the organizer

This museum is incredible. Brilliant and bright art work, comprehensive history exhibit, and consciousness raising exhibit about the dangers migrants face with crossing the border because of American policies. I wish there was more information about the Indigenous Peoples of LA but this is an extremely moving and engaging museum. The surrounding area is beautiful as well with lots to do and places to eat.

An incredible (and not so little) museum at Olvera Street. The exhibitions have an excellent amount of information. Sometimes, other museums do not have as much interpretation. I learned a lot and felt I gained a better understanding of many issues.
