Great food and service! I wish they had more toppings for the hotdogs but overall, was delicious. They also have a great selection of drinks.

Brats, beer, and good vibes! Great spot in DTLA to hang out and get some drinks and hang out. The service is very friendly and they know the menu pretty well. The space is really cool and modern with an industrial kind of feel. We got the Classic Bratwurst and Filipino. The buns had a great chew and each one was tasty. Definitely pairs well with beer! They also have some cocktails available too. I got the Mulled Wine, which was sweet and warm! Brought me into the holiday spirit!

Pricey but goooood. I got the Hungarian heat And fries. They have a crazy selection of beers. I’m not a big beer guy but my friends loved it. Indoor and outdoor seating. Cool vibe.

I'm a fan! Stopped here a handful of times after rock climbing in the area. They have Beyond & Field Roast (I believe) sausages for vegan/vegetarian options. I always go for the Beyond, of course. Picking your own toppings for sausages is fun - would like to see more topping options in the future. They have the BEST fries - don't miss out! Great dipping sauce options and so many different mustard options! Amazing. Great beer selection as well, both draft and bottled, with the option to get your draft beer in a stein. I always feel like having a large soft pretzel here, would be a fun menu addition. Plenty of seating inside & out. The line outside usually isn't too bad and moves relatively quick - plus you can enjoy a beer while in line. Parking in the area can be a huge pain depending on time of day, like Saturday evening - there is a paid lot just down the street, bite the bullet instead of driving around trying to find street parking.

Rattlesnake and rabbit, thumbs up. Duck and bacon? Two thumbs up. Buffalo wild wings/ cherry and mint? A little bit dry Tons of sauce choices, fries are super good. Don’t miss it. Wish the large fry was a little bigger though.

What a great place to experience a little bit of Germany. Good selection of German beer, along with tasty sausage hotdogs 🌭 and even veggie dogs. We can't forget the amazing fries they serve as well. They give you a choice of sauces to go with your fries too. This place is a bit pricey, but we'll worth the wait and price. Staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. If you plan on visiting this place keep in mind the parking situation because it can be a bit difficult to find parking. Remember you can also pay for parking if you wish. Again, great place to visit and enjoy a German beer with a sausage dog.

Overhyped hot dogs... good to try once or twice but not worth it afterwards. Beers are very good here. Fries are beyond AMAZING. Edit: 6/18/22 I've had the hot dogs again because my friends love coming here for the drinks(German beers). The food was amazing, the gourmet sausages, fries, and all. They love their craft German beers here, they wonder how this place gets their hands on the beers. I have the craft soda from their wide selection. Service is really good. Food comes out relatively quick. Parking is a little hectic. Otherwise this place is AWESOME. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Always the best fries 🍟 and great selection of hotdogs and beers. They open till late, and it is a perfect spot to eat after a night out in the art district. Outdoor seating is awesome too with heaters, although they close early (before midnight).

For super casual adventurous big-group dining, this is the place. The menu is simple: sausages, fries, and an impressive selection of draft and bottled beers. What makes it adventurous is the sausage selections. Choices include rattlesnake & rabbit, pheasant, buffalo, vegetarian, and classic sausages—all served on a bun with a choice of toppings. They have seating both inside and outside in front of the restaurant. Order in the front and take your number to your seat and wait to be served. I can always count on one of their classics with sweet peppers and caramelized onions to be delicious. Parking: Expect to pay for parking in a lot. Carpool if you can. It’s okay if you park a few blocks away. The walk around this neighborhood is fun and you’ll be sure to discover some fun gems.

Came to try out the sausages. Some very unique sausage options on the menu. Went with duck/bacon/jalapeno and rattlesnake/rabbit/jalapeno. I like to try new, different things. As a topping just ordered onions. There is a selection of toppings at the table. There is seating in the back on large bench style seats and some outside seating by the sidewalk. You order at counter after walking in and then given a number and food brought to you. $10-$12.50 per sausage. The buns that the sausage was served on was good, light and just right. The sausages were good, but the rattlesnake/rabbit didn't't taste any different than any other sausage. I really liked the duck/bacon sausage. Different flavor and spice than a regular bratwurst.

Exotic dogs, straightforward menu, great beers. There's usually a big line on the weekends, we try to visit during the week when it's less crowded+ easy street parking. The spicy pepper topping is a great choice! The art district in DTLA has been up and coming for some time and it feels great to walk the neighborhood.

Service is very odd. One of the guys that helped us order was really kind and helpful but when ordering at the cash register another employee was super cold and displayed her clear distaste with working there. She made us feel like we were bothering her. I remember this exchange from the last time I was in as well. Food is a bit pricey but pretty decent. Lots of beer options which is cool for a place in LA. It's a cool spot with the right idea but I don't know if it is a place I will want to go to again due to uncomfortable customer service experiences. A side note which may vary from customer to customer but my partner and I both feel gross and have stomach aches after eating there as well. Obviously this is case dependent and may just be a weird occurrence. Maybe others will have different experiences.

We found this spot on Google Maps for a dinner spot during our visit to LA. The photos looked delicious, and they were 100% accurate! It was easy to just walk up to the line, order, and sit down to wait. The patio was so cozy, casual, and welcoming. My cousin got the mango jalapeño wurst and fries with a sour. I got the chicken apple sausage, and it was fantastic! The service was quick. Everyone seemed to really love working there. We will definitely be back!

Some of the best brats ever, and the bun is perfect too. Hot link was good too but I grew up on them so I’m way more picky when it comes to that. I ordered it for delivery and it came hot. They’re also thoughtful about how the food travels because all the condiments came on the side which made the food stay way more fresh. Fries are bomb too! Highly recommend if you’re in the LA area and want something special.

Great spot for hotdogs, be it regular or exotic. My go-to is the snake/rabbit hot dog. But this time I got the buffalo/cherry/mint. It was good, but would probably choose another meat like the lamb. The Fries are cut thick, & the beers are cold. Love this spot!

It’s almost only one place you can eat and sit in a good price around Art district LA. It’s always busy and takes a while to get a food. Potato fries and sauces are really good. My favorite here is pesto mayo sauce. They do have great beer list. Definitely fun place to have some hotdog and beer with friends. Not recommend take away (because you have to wait a long time)

Yum!! Ordered to-go. Even with a long line on a busy Saturday night, the line moves quickly. Fries are bomb 💣 also nice that they took drink orders while you waited on line - efficient. I should've gotten an extra sauce for the fries though

Open with outside seating available. Fantastic sausage and beer options. Very friendly staff that provides excellent service. Street parking can be a little tight but if you keep your eyes open there's always people leaving in the area. There's an inside dining area that's closed during pandemic. Be adventurous and try something new. Even the rattlesnake sausage was good. Oh yeah, and Pie Hole is across the street for dessert.

Love this place! Great beer and hot dogs with a lot of sausage varieties. Got the lamb and that was heavenly. My girlfriend Ling and I are trying to be vegans and it's so great they even have veggie options. Line could get long but we were lucky when we got there and had no wait.

Rattlesnake and rabbit is the best sausage 🤤🤤🤤 An awesome place to enjoy a delicious and fancy hotdog, plenty of flavor and juicy. Try all the sausage variety to see which one is your favorite. Don't forget to add fries and the salsas. Try the difference mustard option (my favorite the hole grain) Drink a beer with friends and enjoy this fabulous place.

My girlfriend brought me to this restaurant and I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. + Service, quick and no problems. + Vast menu of both drinks (alcoholic & non alcoholic drinks) and plenty of tasty food options. + The place was lively and had a great atmosphere. + Clean restrooms + Fun place to hang out with friends or to go on a date to. - Parking on the street can be tough to find at times, but this restaurant has no control of that.

It's my go-to in the area. Sausages, toppings and condiments are delicious. My favorite is kielbasa, but it's on the heavier side. And rabbit and snake for a lighter bite. For beer lovers there's a huge tab variety. For those who don't drink alcohol - sodas that remind you of childhood and sparkling water. The atmosphere is lively and chill. This place is always popular, so the line can get pretty long.

Standing in line, the workers there take your beer order so you have at least a drink in your hand while waiting to put in your order. I also enjoyed the opportunity to draw on the tables. They forgot our ranch, but when we told them about it - they gave us 2 immediately after. Which was nice.

Wurstkuche is one of the restaurants I’d recommend to anyone visiting LA. I’ve been going here for years now and have always had the most amazing experiences. They accommodate my gluten allergy so well here, simply making my sausage without a bun and also wrapped in foil so no cross contamination occurs. I love the kielbasa and have yet to try anything too out there, but they have some very interesting and exotic sausages such as the rattlesnake & rabbit one! Not sure if I’ll ever be adventurous enough to try that one! There tends to be a line every time I go, but there’s always enough room to sit, as they have a large front patio and plenty of seats indoors that’s free seating. I love how there are crayons and you can color on the tables! Parking is pretty terrible as this is a busy area in the Arts District, so I’d recommend ubering if possible, although I did get lucky and find parking right away this time around! Definitely check this place out as they are super accommodating, the atmosphere is great and the food is delicious!

Hands down this is my new favorite sausage place on the west coast. The staff was amazing the food was amazing and the beer was perfect. I tried 6 different sausages and they all were incredible. I can’t wait until next week we will be returning to try even more from the menu.

Don’t leave your table with your food half eaten, or the servers clean your entire food plate and don’t refund you anything. I went up to get a beer and had a half eaten sausage and fries left and the server cleaned up my entire table and threw out my entire meal. Seriously? The food is good so the cooks are clearly doing a good job. But the servers and the cleaners ARE NOT.

  • 2/5 Lars U. 6 months ago on Google
Where to begin? The positives: The selection of sausages and beers is pretty good, some classics, some exotics, and the outdoor seating has that classic German look. That's about it I think. If this restaurant - as the name "Wurstküche" strongly implies - is trying to bring German cuisine to Los Angeles, it failed. I now understand why so many people are upset about places like Panda Express and so on. If this is somebody's first impression of German/Belgian food, they'll get the wrong picture. The sausage itself was decent. The bun however was completely wrong; wrong shape, dough, texture. The caramelized onions were more like slightly burned onions and the Sauerkraut was missing its signature tanginess. The Belgian Fries ... I feel so sorry for my neighbors. Belgian Fries are supposed to be light in colour and crispy. These were dark and soggy, but I guess the seasoning was alright. The Curry Ketchup that came with them wasn't horrible but also not ideal. Added to this, the prices are fairly steep in my opinion. A regular bottle of Club Mate for $6? Ouch. It would also be a good idea to let the staff know how to pronounce the name of the restaurant so they don't tell confidently customers who ask the wrong answer. I probably couldn't even pronounce it this badly if I tried. Not blaming the staff of course, they all seemed like friendly people. To me, this feels like the restaurant drew an alright triangle when the assignment was a square. All in all, I'm disappointed.

Great sausages and AMAZING fries. I got the duck and bacon sausage with an order of large fries. The sausage was flavorful, and the fries were incredibly crispy while still being fluffy on the inside. I chose the pesto mayo and curry ketchup, and while both were good, my favorite was the curry ketchup by far

This was my first time here and honestly I'm glad. I know I will be back. The food was great and the beer selection was just as good. I got great service at the bar and they even made some good recommendations since it was my first time there. Great place to visit.

Great place to eat German hot dogs and drink German or Belgian beer! I ordered the typical bratwurst and shared fries. They were delicious! Especially the fries, they were really thick and fresh. Definitely try the curry ketchup. I hadn’t seen that since I went to Berlin. The atmosphere is also cool, there’s a lot of indoor and outdoor space to sit. And they have a very wide variety of beer. So I would definitely come back!

  • 5/5 Christian H. 1 year ago on Google
The bartender at Eighty Two recommended this place and I'm glad he did. The sausages were flavorful, they had a fantastic selection of beer on tap and a full bar. The white truffle oil fries stole the show though. A large was enough to share between 4 of us but we could've polished off another order.

I'm a little irked that they accept reservations on a Saturday night. But it looks like it was a special occasion. Fries are amazing as always. The exotic sausages are delicious. I appreciate the crayons on the tables. Line gets busy during dinner time. Recommend going before dinner rushes. Amazing beer selection.

I went there with my German fiancé for dinner, they have a good selection of craft German beer and they serve it in nice glasses to make the experience better. We ordered the smoke apple wurst and the veggie wurst and they were pretty good, we ate in the tables out, the area feels super safe. He said the curry ketchup and the fries were the best.

  • 5/5 Lucy X. 9 months ago on Google
Great food, they had vegetarian options which were delicious. We got one of each of their original vegetarian sausages (not the beyond) as well as fries with curry ketchup. There was a long line that went out of the building but the service was excellent. They sent out servers to take drink orders while we stood in line so we could at least drink while waiting, and they brought out free samples as well. It really helped pass the time much more quickly (though the line moved along pretty fast too). I also appreciate that they have a lot of non-alcoholic drink options like fun sodas and even a non-alcoholoc beer. Fun atmosphere as well, would highly recommend!

  • 2/5 Irene T. 1 year ago on Google
It’s overhyped in my opinion; some of the waitstaff seemed a bit impatient and the food was not great. The food was nothing special and tasted overly burnt for both the sausages and the bread. It’s also not cheap but the area is pricey in general. The bread was twice the length of the sausage and the sausages were quite small. You’ll order at one side and they have both indoor and outdoor seating which is nice. The fries were the best part.

  • 4/5 Jesús P. 9 months ago on Google
Enjoyed lunch here on a Sunday passing through Los Angeles. Service here was kind and attentive, the workers really seem to enjoy working here and serving their patrons. I ordered the Rattlesnake and Rabbit Sausage, just out of curiosity. It was very chewy and meaty, and though I was glad to have given it a chance, I would not have it again💀. The fries were also a bit salty and greasy... so wasn't too big of a fan of them. Would recommend splitting a small fry order among 2 people given the hefty portion they provide. Despite all this, this restaurant has a lot to offer in terms of variety. Though I did not much care for my selection this time around, I look forward to coming back again and trying something else when I am back in the area. Overall, I liked this place.

At it's core, Wurstküche is a sausage grill, but it's so much more than that. As a non-meat eater, I ordered the 'Vegetarian Mexican Chipotle' that featured chipotle, arbol, chiles, garlic & onion. I loved their innovative sausage combinations, with some of the best vegetarian sausages you'll find! They also had some of the best fries I've had in years, and definitely a must-add to any order. On top of that, they offer a bunch of unique and delicious dipping sauces that made the meal THAT much better. I came with a group of 5 friends and they had a plethora of well-lit outdoor tables that made for a super fun meal. If you're ever in the LA Arts District and craving a quick and fun bite, look no further than Wurstkuche!

Loved this place so much! I got the mango jalapeño bratwurst with caramelized onions and everything down to the bread was super tasty. The fries were great and I loved them with the chipotle aioli sauce and the bleu cheese sauce. I liked the dark aesthetic inside and the seating was fun. They had more private seating along the walls and then larger group seating in the center similar to a traditional German beer hall.
