Thai classic done in vegan style. When you what something that is like any of your favorite dishes without a lot of artificial plant protein substitutes the veggie forward elements of this menu are nice. The avocado curry is the crowd pleaser.

A Mixed Experience at This Cozy Thai Spot I recently tried out this Thai restaurant in Hollywood for a takeout order via DoorDash. The restaurant itself is quite small, but it has a charming atmosphere. As someone who isn't strictly vegan but leans towards a more vegetable-focused diet, I was excited to explore their menu. We ordered a variety of dishes, including veggie cakes, papaya salad, Tom ka soup, and pumpkin curry. Let's start with the highlights. The pumpkin curry was absolutely delightful – rich, flavorful, and a real winner. The Tom ka soup also impressed me with its deliciously balanced spiciness at level 4. However, not everything hit the mark for me. The papaya salad left me a bit disappointed. The papaya lacked the thickness and flavor I expected, and it fell short of my expectations. As for the veggie cakes, they were decent but didn't quite stand out. In summary, this Thai restaurant offers a cozy ambiance and some standout dishes, particularly the pumpkin curry and Tom ka soup. However, there is room for improvement in some of their other offerings like the papaya salad and veggie cakes. If you're a fan of Thai cuisine, it's worth giving them a try, but be selective with your choices.

Let me start out by saying how happy I am to have stumbled upon the lovely Araya's Place on a free 'self-care, me-day' type of afternoon! I had just finished getting a facial and was looking for something healthy I could grab for lunch nearby, and decided to give Araya's Place a try since I noticed that it was a vegan spot! Now, I'm not personally vegan, although I try to eat healthier and more plant-based, and have a lot of experience with vegan food, as several family members of mine are vegan! So, let me just start out by describing the food as most DEFINITELY hitting the spot! But let's back track a little bit first! When I entered, it's a very small space but with plenty of tables and seating available. The lady inside was very attentive and sweet and had me seated and my order taken in no time at all! There was a great lunch special for around $12 that they have during the afternoon all week, and includes a spring roll, salad, rice, soup, and entree of your choice. My soup was piping hot and out in no time at all after ordering!! It was soothing, light, and very delicious with a good amount of spice and chunks of mushroom and some other healthy protein inside it. The rest of the lunch special was similarly tasty and out really quickly! It was beautifully and very aesthetically presented on the plate as well (check the photo for reference). Perfect crunch to the spring roll, well cooked rice, and a light salad with some dressing on the side. For my entree I had some green tofu curry that similarly to the soup had a good amount of heat without being overpowering and was deliciously creamy and soothing. The tofu on other bits of carrot and zucchini provided a great crunch and texture to the curry. This is a bit of a hole-in-the-wall type of place that can be easy to overlook, situated right next to a Supercuts. I'd advise you to not miss out on it though, whether you're vegan or not, and give it a try! I had a great lunch here and I highly recommend!

First time here, I’m not vegan, and couldn’t tell the difference, the food was delicious, full of flavor. Easy parking, large menu, very clean, highly recommend. Even had Thai tea with almond milk, that was a first and it was still delicious.

We were in the area and I’m so glad we chose this place. We ordered the veggie spring rolls, Brussel sprouts, spicy noodle and the Kaeng Ka-Ri. Everything was fresh and delicious! Very cozy small place and amazing staff. I highly recommend 💚

I ordered delivery from here, and I have honestly never received food this bad from anywhere. The dish I got was supposed to be asparagus and mushrooms in a black bean sauce, and what I got is a few strips of asparagus floating in what can only be described as slime. The consistency was so thick that the entire container of food jiggled. I also ordered Tofu Satay and they were completely cold and clearly not prepared fresh. The skewers were so cold to the touch that they must've been taken out of the fridge and put into a container. I don't know if I caught them on a bad day, or if the quality is much higher in person, but this was truly horrible.

Yummy vegan Thai food. Attentive, nice staff. Great selection of spicy side sauces if the people you're with want to share food, but don't tolerate the same heat level. Only downsides: Curry and veggie main dishes don't come with rice, so you do have to pay for that separately. Small indoor area.

I am on a personal quest to have more vegan/vegetarian meals in my life but I'm clueless on the best way to find them. I happened to drive past Araya's and decided to give it a go for lunch. Very nice place. They had a lot of lunch specials. I had the pad thai with fried tofu. Food was tasty and filling. Prices were great. Quality was great. I will definitely come back.

I just had the pleasure of having lunch here today and wow was I presently surprised. Let me start off with the owner she is a very sweet hard working momma that is so very genuine and kind, there is a real passion and love here for what she dose and with the food she serves to her customers. We came last min for her lunch special but she was so sweet and accommodating. The food was beyond delicious 😋 I didn't get a chance to tell her but the egg rolls were honestly the best I've ever had in my 32 years of life even my non vegan partner cleaned his plate and spoke very highly of his meal, you can taste that the food was was made with love. It's so hard to find a good place to eat now and days and I'm so happy to have found this vegetarian restaurant its clean comfortable and wonderfully priced the food is amazing 👏 and I can't wait to go back and try everything else on the menu. Thank you for a perfect dining experience today.

We have ordered take out multiple times from Araya's, directly from their website and not through another service. Our usual dinner order for 3 to 4 adults: 1 pad see ew (thick noodles) 1 pad Thai (thinner noodles with peanuts) 1 curry (green, yellow, or Penang) 1 or 2 sides of white rice Sometimes: a veggie entree or papaya salad This is always plenty of food and enough leftovers for at least another meal for 1 to 2 people. Parking is a tad tight in the lot, with slim spaces. If possible, drive the smallest car possible. The restaurant has tables inside for table service. Friendly and very polite staff.

Delicious Thai food with a large menu to choose from. I got the panang curry and drunken mushroom dishes and enjoyed both. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. They lean on the healthier side which I love. Their seitan is homemade gluten free with oats. I definitely recommend visiting.

Delicious food! Prices are quite reasonable for the quality, particularly recommend the asparagus dish for some wonderful mushrooms and sauce. Lovely flavoring that is customizable to any spice capacity, ranging from totally mild to super hot. A wonderful vegan choice!

Amazingly delicious vegan Thai. The best vegan thai I’ve ever had actually , with an extensive menu and very friendly staff serving you! Fresh veggie heavy dishes with option to add soft or fried tofu , vegan chicken or jackfruit. The Tofu Satay and Pumpkin curry are so gooood! Hopefully I can try more of the menu - that is, if I ever stop ordering those two dishes ! (Btw they’re kid friendly too )

If you are looking for Vegan Thai cuisine near Beverly hills, or surrounding areas like Griffith Park etc.. you should definitely go for it. Although, please be aware that the complex in which the restaurant is situated has limited parking. But, you can park just couple of blocks away. I tired the ginger tea and spicy noodles. It was delicious and filling.

This is a moderate sized restaurant that is really well decorated to make it feel warm and cozy. The food is really good. This is a vegetarian's paradise that will be appreciated by anyone who enjoys great food. The staff and owner are the best you can get anywhere. They really want to make sure that you enjoy the food and the experience at Arya's vegetarian place.

My daughter and I went on a trip to LA and were looking for vegan food. We picked up Araya's after a long day at Universal. We had a couple entries and an appetizer. It was delicious! The portion sizes were very generous, and overall it was a treat. Thank you, Araya, for the wonderful food.

As a strict vegan I seek out restaurants that I can trust that are fully vegan themselves, as not to risk any animal protein crossing. Luckily in LA we have a plethora of options but some of those stand out and some of those don't. One of my favorites is the family owned Araya's Place. The food is always very clean tasting without compromising flavor. If you haven't already, give this gem a try. It will soon become in your weekly rotation. It has for me!

This is a hidden gem of a Thai restaurant, and you don't have to be a vegetarian or vegan to love it. I drove by this place for years and finally came here on the recommendation from my dentist. The owner is all about quality control and making sure her diners are happy. Huge and diverse menu. Not a vegan and have been here 4x so far. Avocado curry is a must, the soft avocado melts into the broth perfectly, with veggies and seitan. Great portion sizes too. Parking is tight, but that's not their fault!

Excellent Thai food. It tastes quite similar to "regular" non vegetarian thai food. The portions were generous. We got pad Thai, pad see ew, green curry and spring rolls. We enjoyed everything, but especially the spring rolls. So crispy even an hour after frying! Great flavor. We will definitely be back.

Underwhelmed. We have loved visiting the Seattle locations for years. Always have appreciated the food. And the service has always been warm. We got takeout, and the sales person was short and unhelpful and acted like they were annoyed to receive our business. The food was uninspired, regretted both dishes that we chose: veggie fried rice, and KraPow.

Araya's LA location is the best "Vegan" Thai food in town!!! Cherie is a bubble of energy and greets everyone as a guest in her home. The food is authentic and healthy. Araya's offers a great, affordable "online" family meal deal! Simply order, pay online and pick it up! Check it out, you'll thank me later!
