You don’t have to be vegan to enjoy healthy and delicious dishes. The food here is amazing, and the best part about the experience is that the owner chooses what you are going to eat. This is one place where you can forget about the “need” or desire to eat animals.

Great food! Best part was the owner just taking a look at you and talk to you for a sec (which for us was asking questions about "what do u recommend sort") then the awesome owner goes "Trust me. I know what you want" My wife and I guarantee that was the best thing because whatever was in that roll was out of this world (I mean. I haven't felt a sensation of great food coming as I opened my mouth to take a bite of it). When we asked which one was that one: he pointed out his menu and read to us their motto: "We Pick. You Eat" Lmao, he was right. Best hook, line, and a sinker (sorry for the pun) of any restaurant we have dined in around the world, for us to return and eat that mystery roll again. Oh we also took some takeout items in the saran wrapped packages by the cash register.

Wow! This place is fantastic:) We had the curry wheat noodles with "chicken," as well as the veggie spring rolls with "beef," which came with a side of really delicious peanut sauce. They have a variety of drinks and teas as well. They also sell cookies, nuts, hats/shirts, and even meatless beef jerky, which I will have to try sometime! Service was really awesome, and the place was very clean. There isn't much parking in the lot directly in front of the store, but there is a side parking lot with tons, so no worries there. We will definitely be back:)

Very delicious. Definitely recommend. Ordered the chicken nuggets for my kids and they were great. Also ordered the k pho and the duck with dumpling sandwich. You gotta try them both. Ordered the thia tea and it was very good. I liked how they asked how sweet we wanted it. Service was amazing l, very friendly and welcoming. Thank you the experience!

I absolutely love this place. The food prepared here is so flavorful and nutritious. I live pretty far but it’s 100% worth driving out here for a meal. The owners and staff are super friendly and accommodating. Me & my girlfriend love coming here. Check it out today !

Really Really Amazing food!! We got the mushroom soup and noodle salad. Excellent! Our second time going there and we love it. Everything looks so good. Even if your not Vegan or Vegetarian you will still love this place.

Regretting not having gone here before. This place hits the spot! Ordered the udon stir-fried with curry “duck,” tofu fried rice, and the fresh veggie rolls. The owners were friendly and attentive, the service was swift, and the food was extremely well seasoned. We loved every bite of our meal and look forward to coming back.

Had a delivery through GH. Two dishes were so spoiled, smelly, and with spots of mold, to the point where they either didn’t bother to look at what they’re sending or they didn’t care. This also meant we couldn’t trust anything else on our order and skipped most of it. I actually liked some of it, but spoiled food is really the bottom as far as quality and service

I am not vegan. I enjoyed the texture as it wasn't mushy and it didn't taste weird. I really enjoyed my meal. They even noticed the baby wasn't eating and they asked what the baby liked and made her a bowl of plain noodles and chicken. It was very nice of them.

This was amazing restaurant just off of a fluke we looked on Google and decide to go to the nearest vegan restaurant. This restaurant turned out to be a number five star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ even even the wifey said the pho that they actually have was amazing the best she's ever had it reminded her of the vegan restaurant in pho. All we had this wonderful great dish it was a duck vegan wings was fantastic. We also had some kind of like beef fried rice with vegetables old man their portions are big so remember you've only need like one meal. Oh and we had the famous pho. The thing about fuzz that it took so long to make it but they didn't take long at all it was literally like 10 minutes and almost made me think that they had an AI robot in the back making pho. I think this restaurant is amazing I think more people should come back the service was polite. And I will coming back I hope you all.

Amazing 🤩, their vegan pho totally walks and talks. Absolutely delightful to the buds. They have these delicious meaty looking things in the soup but it's not meat. It's some wheat meat alternative. Yum

Food made fresh. I enjoy just about everything here. They use a lot, I mean A LOT of mock meats, so if you're not into it just have them leave it off. They make their own tofu here and you can tell. Homemade soy milk tastes like it. Some highlights are the Ham Roll, Duck Fried Rice, and TKO Soup. The owner is proud of the food and is always willing to recommend something to you

The "we pick, you eat" option is a fun experience! The owner, Kevin, is a friendly guy who will just pick some options for you. I came with 3 people and we had 1 soup, 1 noodle dish, and 1 rich dish. All of the ingredients were fresh and high quality. The soup and noodle dishes were excellent. The noodle had tofu duck which was pretty tasty. The orange chicken was amazing. It just a good ratio between crunchy and chewy and the flavor burst in your mouth. You do have to eat it fresh so it doesn't get soggy. I would highly recommend this Vietnamese vegan restaurant!

Excellent place for top notch vegan food. Great service, and the owner is super friendly. This is a neighborhood restaurant but it's well regarded on the LA food scene. Order their crispy "duck" in lemon grass and you'll know why. This place is literally worth a detour.

Wow. Kevin must have some special suppliers because the vegan meat analogues are unusually realistic. The taste is spectacular. The egg rolls are so delicious that my girlfriend was amazed at how quickly they disappeared before she got her share. It’s in a mini mall and doesn’t serve alcohol, but otherwise a great place for a date.

This restaurant is amazing and the food is fantastic. The owner is inspiring to keep moving forward on the vegan lifestyle. I wasn't sure what to order, and the owner asked if I would like him to choose something for me. I took him up on the offer! The dish made for me was amazing and nothing like I have had before. Combination duck! I highly recommend having him choose something for you. He asks you a few questions and makes it for you. You get to try it before you buy it. Awesome restaurant and ownership.

Food was good! But not a 4.8. Closer to a 3.5 or a 4. The meal we had was fairly standard vegan vietnamese cuisine, and on the pricier end considering location. I hoped there would be more straight tofu options on the menu (hopefully with some quality tofu), but it's mostly mock meat--which I know is usually soy-based-- but I don't enjoy it anywhere near as much as good tofu. It's good, just not worth a special trip from LA into the valley, like I had hoped given the very high rating.

Absolutely delicious food! I went with a non-vegan who loved it as well. The owner is a kick, he insists on choosing your items for you, and I will say… you should I let him!! The items he chose for us were awesome. Super casual atmosphere, paper plates and plastic forks, but we had absolutely no complaints. Will definitely come back!

What an awesome place to go!! The owner is super friendly and picked out excellent choices for us since it was our first time there. Everything was really delicious, big portions, and no one in my group was vegetarian or vegan but we all LOVED it. We had the Kevin #1, Duck Rolls, Combo Teriyaki Duck, and Spare Rib. If you have never been and are thinking about going, this is your sign to go!

Delicious vegan food. I always get the banh mi and 'shrimp' spring rolls. Can't beat the banh mi, whatever 'meat' you choose. My wife usually gets the veggie fried rice, delicious as well. Good prices compared to most other vegan restaurants.

  • 5/5 Kishan S. 5 months ago on Google
As this was the first time going, the owner asked if he could choose for us.. and we highly recommend this. Let him just make the food, and you just eat. The rice dish was good. But the curry udon noodles were amazing. And the vegan meat was surprisingly good and wasn't offsetting.

Be careful ordering over the phone, they can change your order to something more expensive that you didn't ask for. The food was good enough. It's overpriced, especially for the area. Gluten free sauce almost $2, that's too much for a couple of drops of sauce. Parking lot is small and the spots are very tight. There isn't much room for dining in the restaurant. It's not a terrible place but it isn't the best place either. Would come again if nothing else or in a super rush.

Absolutely amazing! They are very kind and generous there, care much for their food and customers! They accommodated me splendidly and made me a dish just for my birthday! I will absolutely be back and I can't rave about them enough!

This is an iconic establishment for vegan food. The texture of the faux meat had me doing a double take. The flavors are so delicious and the portions are generous. Kevin and his wife are welcoming and really funny. For those unfamiliar with his style, he usually picks the food and you simply enjoy. This may come across to some as aggressive or crazy, but I’m telling you let Kevin do this for you. You will never regret it! My mind and taste buds have been blown every single time that he chooses a dish. It’s allowed me explore dishes that I probably would never eat, but have become my favorite. He even will let you know when you’ve ordered too much so that you don’t ruin the experience of the meal. That was a first for me and he was right! They take pride in choosing the most high-quality ingredients and sauces. This is one of those hole in the wall gold mines for the Vegan community.

MUST VISIT - this place is an experience!! Kevin is a legend - great positive energy… just walk in hungry, sit down, and let Kevin and his team do the rest! “We pick - you eat”

Wow! You must go here if you are vegan. The menu is extensive and has all sorts of plant based dishes. The imitation duck is excellent.

If you love tofu and love to eat healthy this is your place. I love how kevin prepares the food , the taste and the variety. My favorites are the chicken nugget ( not real chicken) and duck fried rice ( not real duck )

We dined in for two people and the food was great. As a part time vegetarians , we really enjoyed the summer fried rice and the Duck Lemongrass With Rice Noodle. It was also nice to be able to control the sweetness in our ice teas. I wasn't too keen on the plastic cutlery though.

If you thought you knew tofu and vegan food, think again. Or rather let Vinh Loi expand your mind. Does it really even matter that it's tofu? It just matters that it is delicious.

Don't expect what I would call traditional Thai food. You're not going to find Pad Thai or silver noodles yum but it's Unique place with an interesting menu and a very loyal following so if you want to give it a try there's lots of good stuff there

Absolutely fantastic experience. We're not vegan but we're going back because the food was that good. I think I was partial to the fried rice, but really, it was all day great, it's hard to go wrong. The service was amazing, and the owner is incredibly friendly. Oh, and don't miss it on the vegan desserts.

  • 5/5 Daniel S. 1 year ago on Google
The food here is really good and the service is a close match. The owner is often around and kind enough to engage customers and even took me to the fridge to show me his pepper stash when we started talking about spicy food. The staff here are very fun loving and easy to talk to and joke with. It's pricy, but that's what you get at vegan locations.

  • 5/5 Eric O. 2 years ago on Google
Very solid food, I particularly liked the noodle dishes. The staff is very kind and they’re generous, big-hearted people. They gave my sister free congee because she recently had neck surgery and her udon soup was a little difficult for her. I’m not in the area much, but would absolutely go again.

What an amazing experience. From the warm welcome to the very last bite, every moment was a delight. The food is incredible, I highly recommend doing the "We pick, you eat" option. The owner is very kind and makes you feel right at home. After a homeless man came in asking for food, he was met with a friendly greeting and left with food in his hand, freely given. Cannot recommend this place enough, whether you're vegan or not.

I was visiting Cali and Happy Cow helped me find this place being near it. What's pictured is the fried veggie wontons. They were soggy and greasy and not great. I got them to go and I know when I fry foods and wrap them up too quick and don't let them cool off the food gets soggy. I think that's what happened. I also got fried rice. Now on the menu it says egg is in a few dishes and I wanted to know what they were using as substitute to be the mock egg and no one could tell me. The best thing out of my experience was the employee who took my order, she had a lot of patience with me.

Lovely owners! It was my first time so I asked for a recommendation and they brought me a surprise dish which was excellent! At first I thought, I was quite expensive but the portion size is huge and could last a couple of dinners!

Went twice, they ordered for us both times. Both times were delicious! Love trying new dishes and being surprised and pleased with the choices. Looking forward to next time.

A not-so-hidden spot for the best vegan Vietnamese food in the valley. What a welcoming environment- it really like everyone knows the family that runs the place. Definitely a bit pricey but we love love love supporting family businesses! Must go if you’re in the area

I just looked at the receipt and noticed that they charged for what was promised to be on the house, for free. I told them that I can't eat spinach and she offered me to make me a spinach-free roll. I said it's ok, I don't need it, but she insisted and said that it would be free. Now I see they charged me $7.25 fit a single roll. It's basically a piece of rice paper and some leafy greens and probably some shredded carrot rolled in it. I feel it was very unfair!

  • 5/5 Michael C. 1 year ago on Google
This is hands down the best vegan Vietnamese restaurant I've ever been to. Kevin the owner takes pride in what he does and his establishment. I'm an omnivore and his meat replacements are as good as it gets. Try my favorite the "duck" soup!
