The environment is nice. It has the feel of a top notch restaurant. But Antojitos broke the cardinal rule! They don't give you chips and salsa to munch on while you decide what to order. Right off the bat we felt weirded out. We ordered fish tacos and cheese enchiladas. My wife is still looking for the cheese. Both dishes were just ok. I wouldn't go back and i wouldn't recommend it. This explained the lack of people there. They need to serve chips and salsa. You can't be a Mexican restaurant and not have this to munch on. It would make up for the lack of good food.

Excellent food and service! We had great margaritas and then shared the fish tacos and carnitas plates. Everything was very good and our waiter was always helpful and attentive. The prices are reasonable for a nice night out for two. We will definitely be back when staying in this area.

We stopped by city walk and found this restaurant. Went in for drinks and I got the michelada with sol beer. This is the first time I've ever sent a beer back and didn't want it remade. Small size cup with no visual presentation or lime. The other 2 drinks we had were good and fairly priced. For the good the restaurant was clean and beautiful the staff friendly and restrooms clean. We shared the nachos and they were fantastic. Chips and salsa was great as well! Recommend

Can’t stress this enough.. Get the Carnitas Nachos for your group! It is filling and you can spend the rest of your budget on tasty cocktails!!! Yum!! Btw, I’ve tried their entrées on other occasions and they are good too but I like to sit, eat and sip! TIP: Butterfly Corazon is a satisfying beverage

Atmosphere isn’t bad, drinks horrible the marg tastes just like just marg mix. Too sweet no flavor. Presentation not bad. Service is EH at best. First time I came I thought it was me this time I realized I’m never coming back. Time to close this place and give me something tasty. PS bar just feels empty.

My experience was good; the restaurant was cute, the waitress was super attentive and humorous; it made the atmosphere better. As for food, my colleagues who usually eat this type of food said that the taste is not authentic. I had guacamole and the Chicken Chimichanga; it was ok.

It was one of the best Mexican restaurants I have ever visited here in LA! The service was very fast and friendly! The best part was that after 3 minutes we sat down to our table they brought us free chips and salsa, lol! The food was amazing! We got chips and guacamole, quesadillas and two margaritas with salt rim. Lastly, the restaurant was very clean. Amazing experience overall to a point that that’s the only Mexican restaurant I wanna visit whenever I’m craving Mexican food!

Wow. The service is amazing and that first impression sets the tone. We only got some nachos but they were outstanding. If you’re walking around on here and not sure where to eat you should think about this place. I wish I could start at the beginning and eat it again 🤗

This is quite the high-energy Mexican restaurant. It's low lit with pumping music. The decor is unique, and every inch of this place has a detail or story. The atmosphere is laid back and fun. The staff was friendly and welcoming. There are plenty of drink and food options. The food is very industrial. I tried the partida pear cocktail, and it was very unique. I also tried the birria tacos. They were on the spicy side. They did leave me on the hungry side to order some tortilla chips and guacamole. Prices are inflated here, expensive for the quality.

Came here for some drinks and chips, beans, and salsa. Margaritas are OK. Salsa is slightly on the sweet side and beans kinda too. I have had food here before and some of it’s good but it is a hit and miss.

Fun restaurant and we enjoyed all of the food we ordered. The pork chili verde was super tender and came with a lot of meat! The margaritas were delicious as well! Great spot after a long day at Universal. The patio was super cute and festive.

Tourist trap Mexican. The atmosphere is really cool, but the food doesn't hold up. The nachos on the menu say they use melted cheddar and jack cheeses, but it's just a cheap nacho cheese sauce. My girlfriend found meat in her vegetarian meal, which just can't happen. If you're feeling an urge for Mexican, look for something less flashy and you'll definitely find better.

We recently dined at this restaurant and were thoroughly impressed with the attentive service, especially regarding my daughter's gluten allergy. The staff took extra care to ensure her dietary needs were met. Additionally, I had forgotten to request no cheese in my tacos, but despite the food already being prepared, the restaurant graciously remade my order at no extra cost. The food was excellent, and the ambiance of the restaurant was both pleasant and lively. Highly recommend for both their outstanding service and delightful dining experience!

Great atmosphere and decor. The food was good Mexican food, prices were just a tad high. Service was kinda slow, especially considering there were only about ten patrons seated at the time with none waiting on a weeknight. Staff was nice and place was clean.

this restaurant was conveniently located just outside of Universal Studios which made it a great choice after a long morning in the park. However, I think it was slightly overpriced for what we received and the server wasn’t overly friendly. I got the cauliflower al pastor tacos which were pretty good, but there are only a few vegetarian options. would still recommend.

Food was great. Salsa for the chips and salsa was a bit spicy just how I like it. Our server Hector was the best. Recommended some sauces to add to our meal and it only made it better. Very friendly and attentive. Great experience.

I actually enjoyed the food here.... the atmosphere was nice and service was great. I had an enchilada Verde and Carne asado taco with a Cadillac margarita. The food and drinks were really good! Have I had better? Sure, but compared to other options at CityWalk, I think this was the better option over NBC Sports Grill, Bubba Gumps, Margarittavile, etc.

It was okay for a touristy restaurant. The decor was great staff was friendly. We got the burrito and nachos. Nachos were okay not really flavorful and chips could use salt, the burrito was too salty the first few bites and filled with rice but it was okay better if it wasn’t $20. The drink was the butterfly tequila based drink, it was also okay. They don’t give chips and salsa btw.

Cool place for drinks and a quick bite to eat. I am giving it a 4 star because of the lack of staffing that delayed everything. The bartenders were working extremely hard but you can sense the frustration behind the bar. The food was excellent and the drinks were good.

The best part of this restaurant are the drinks. They are very heavy on the alcohol side, which If you don’t mind these are great. The carnitas nachos are great, and perhaps the best value at this restaurant. The rest of the food is just ok, and it’s over priced. The portions are pretty small for being entrees. Salsa and chips are pretty good. Service is very good. Overall a nice place to visit.

Arrived and sat at the bar thinking I was going to get quicker service. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. We were waiting for the bartender to give us attention and my experience here got worse. We waited 7 min and the bartenders explained that there is only 2 and that we are really busy. So I calmed down and completely understood. At first you can tell that they were really stressed out for the low coverage. What turned my experience around was this awesome bartender named Jennifer. Tequila tried to help us but Jennifer really took it home. So thank you for turning this negative experience into a positive one.

Super, super fun restaurant with a whimsical yet vibrant decor. The food was flavorful and filling, however we only had appetizers. This place can get really busy, so please bring your patience and have a margarita or two while you wait. The only criticism I have is the salsa. It was extremely acidic with an over abundance of lime. Which was very hard on the palate. But overall a pretty good place to dine with good vibes.

Best Mexican food I've ever had which probably isn't saying much. The elote and quesadilla was my favorite part probably also my first time trying elote. The Birria tacos was not the best that I've had but we're pretty good. Lots of fresh ingredients I would love to eat here again.

My wife and I got our lunch from here when we were at Universal Studios. She wanted the chicken Nachos so that's what we shared, along with a coke. I didn't like that they give us the recyclable straws because it makes the drink taste weird. Our food took a while to come out and it was okay. We ate it at the eating area behind the shop. After we finish eating, a Universal Studios employees asked us a couple of questions for a survey.

Our waiter Cory was amazing 👏 rice was perfectly cook but cold. Mole enchiladas had too much cumin for my taste, the chiles rellenos were really yummy hot dish, topped with green sauce. Finally the pineapple margarita was yummy not a lot alcohol in it but is ok.

This place is so cute. It’s within universal studios. The food is good. The drinks are good. The decor inside and out is really pretty. I like that you can see them cooking. Always gives me a good feeling when you can see them. Very clean and organized place. They have meeting/big rooms. The seating area are so cute and cozy.

Great food in a convenient location to Universal. Cool vibe and everything was full of flavor. Salsa was good with a bit of a kick. Definitely worth stopping in if you’re out that way. It was pretty quick and no wait in the off season of the theme park.

The place is packed we had reservations. Ordered the tacos it was 3 of them with beans and rice and the meat was good. The onion topping with the bell peppers was not good and it taste rot. It also smelled rot. I just eat one and my daughter had another but she removed the toppings she just likes plain taco. Left the other due to the smell. I mentioned it to the server and she just said oh really and shrugged I still paid for the food. The drinks were fine. Service was fine no problem. Just over all a bit disappointed by my food and that they didn’t try to make it better. I don’t think I’d come here just because it’s too crowed for my taste too.

Food was fine. A bit stale. Our waiter Richard was legit super nice and very lovely which is why I'm giving 4 stars. He was very attentive and great.

Expect a 45-minute wait time. This place gets busy, and I can see why. The food is good. Cool neon lighting. Great atmosphere. The only issue we had was the waiter forgot our utensils, and the second round of drinks took a while. It was busy, so I'll let it slide. We'll visit again.
