Great food customer service is okay 4/5 and u can call and order in your food before you arrive the have Android pay or apple using square pay and the atmosphere is cool and relaxed not really spacious but still comfortable. Have a tv In there with a speaker. Very busy so definitely call ahead

This place was amazing. Staff was friendly. We came at closing, but the service was amazing. The portion was large for what you paid for . I definitely recommend this place food I'd delicious.

I would hate to leave a review before even trying the food but this is solely based on customer service. I called ahead of time to place an order for oxtail. I was told it was an hour wait and the gentleman took my name and number and said I was on a waiting list & that I should expect a call back. An hour came so about 15 mins after that I called to check status. The lady who answered told me that it would be another hour and that I was still on the list. I originally called at 2pm and it is now 6pm. No call back or anything. I may not attempt to try this restaurant again.

Absolutely horrible service 0/10 do not recommend. I know it’s a running joke that Caribbean restaurants have bad service but this is ridiculous. They always running late. Tryna put the store together while ur waiting to order. Food takes forever. They messed my order up TWICE in one week. When I door dashed it my door dasher had to call and apologize for how long they’re taking with my food. Then a few days later. I go in at 1210. Stores not ready. As she’s putting the store together she organizes and put all the Pattie’s away while I wait for the 4 I ordered. Slog course she gave me the WRONG Patties then when I call for a refund she’s telling me to come back and drive back ACROSS town and to bring the Pattie’s for a refund. No regard for the customer at all. Then when they close in a few years they gonna say nobody supports black business smh

Curry Goat is my favorite menu item that I order and it never dissapoints. Thick, spicy and generous serving of tender meat is included in the meal along with rice and peas, cabbage and fried plaintains. Recommend the jerk chicken meal as well, price is reasonable and the portions are generous. Parking can be a challenge in the evening and on weekends, however the wait is worth it. Great place for Belizean food.

This USED to be the spot, however... So I called in my order, and they gave it to someone else and were then OUT of what I ordered. Then they didn't have plaintain nor rice& peas, but got the audacity to charge the full amount without having the complete meal/ order and without informing me. + my oxtails were tough. Oh and their portion sizes changed. Idk what's going on, but I'ma need them to get it together.

Okay so how are you going to have a Belizean restaurant when you have American people working. Bad attitudes they don't even greet the customer when we come in and there is now American music playing LoL in a Belizean restaurant continuously and No Belizean or Jamaican music playing and the light skinned girl at the front counter has a bad attitude. The oxtails are never ready we went there at 12:30 and they open at 12:00 the oxtails was not even ready and to top it off I can't believe they are selling macaroni and cheese and some young boy with dreads is loaded working in the kitchen ask him a question he does not answer but grins hi as hell. P.s the potato salad is horrible.

OMG!!! I finally got the chance to try Pepper's Jamaican/Belizean restaurant 🇯🇲 🇧🇿 and I was NOT disappointed with the flavors of the food!! ⁶ Ok, so I got the veggie lunch plate and 2 veggie patties. The plate was a little on the skimpy side, as it came wit rice n peas, cabbage, 1 tiny nugget of festival bread and 2 small slivers of plantain! I bought a side of jerk sauce and poured it over mi rice & cabbage and it was soooooo gooooodT!!!!!😍😋😍😋😍😋😍 Next time, I'll order the dinner 😉 Now for the veggie/spinach patties... they were sooooo gooood!! The texture of the outter patty-bread was light, soft, buttery and flaky!! I NEVER had Jamaican patties like this before!! 😋😋😋 and the veggies inside were a lil spicy and very flavorful 👌🏾 Best Jamaican patties EVERRRRRR!!! 💯💯💯 Great customer service. The sista behind the counter was very nice, polite and tooo cute!! I forgot her name but she was sweet 🥰. Now the restaurant inside was hot as hell, no lie. I sat outside to wait for my food. Perhaps in the wintertime, I'll eat inside. Good food and good customer service... I will DEFINITELY be back at Pepper's 🌶!!!!

I ordered the oxtail dinner with steamed cabbage and rice n beans…. The oxtails were delicious and I received 10 pieces in my order. The cabbage was okay but they were a lil skimpy with the serving size. The rice n beans were a lil dry and there wasn’t much beans in it… And there was a lot of stems in the rice. They also included 4 slices of fried plantains and a lil ball of cornbread in the order.

Good but not authentic. It’s authentic American Jamaican food. Has a good taste and flavor but not like somebody mumma made it.

The food was good. The cashier needs to work on her customer service, but the chef more than made up for it by coming out to personally hand me my food and to make sure I was satisfied.

First off the cashiers y’all rotate have no hospitality : I understand this is family owned business but please bring more life to the customer experience 1) come here expect to wait almost an hr just to get a plate 2) no point in buying a large plate cause they’ll half fill that too

I unexpectedly drove past this place, and after having a hard time finding good authentic tasting Jamaican food I am happy to have found this place. I got the stew chicken small plate (regretted not getting the large) and it was good. Festival and plantain were cooked well and I definitely want to try more of their items. The pineapple-ginger juice is very tasty (but VERY strong ginger taste if you’re not into it). I gave them four stars because post mates and food delivery orders are prioritized so in-person orders take time (30-40 minutes). Thankfully it was worth the wait. The menu advertises another store opening much closer in Long Beach and I am definitely looking forward to that location. Good eats!

She charged me for a small plate. I said I ordered large, then she said. Oh yes. Then chargers me for a large plate. I asked what’s the difference and why she didn’t know it was large. She said it was large. $26 for oxtails. The rice was like mush. It had an unpleasant sweet taste. The oxtails were about 4-5 small pieces. I’m highly disappointed. And I will never eat there again. This is not my first bad experience here. Actually Everytime I go. I complain.

If I could give this place no stars I would I never got my food I Placed my order at 225pm I waited till 310 they keep saying it coming they finally offered me a refund I was late getting back to work, I recommend for them to be more honest with their customers instead of how they handled the situation

Just sharing info on the service. Hiram ( please forgive me if I spelled the name incorrectly) there was a mixed up with my order. Hiram handled it and made sure the additional order was delivered with the initial order and no one in my house was left stranded without their meal. Greatly appreciated

Oxtails good but I paid fora large and they only gave me 5 oxtails.I paid $22 plus tax and he went the extra mile to joke and say don’t let nobody know I’m showing you this much love 😂 as if I wasn’t just cheated. I see reviews with 10 oxtails!!! The male server came from behind the counter to hug women lol I obviously am not a regular or family so I got treated like a come up instead of a customer. Guess what tho? As far as flavors? EASILY ON OF LA’s BEST hence why I even come in the 1st place smh just check your plate and keep in mind what you ordered, don’t let the extra sauce fool you!!! Lucky I don’t say no names smh 🤦🏾‍♀️

Authentic! Wow! First time trying this spot! Oxtails were so good. Best rice and peas I had in a while! Plantains were cooked the right way..not even soggy from delivery. Great price and serving size. I will have to dine in soon to try other things!💜💜💜

I came all the way down from Long Beach it was my friend's birthday we wanted Jamaican food I spent over $75 and the food was terrible I can truly say that because I'm a certified chef. For the prices the right should not be crunchy and hard there was no flavor The Jerk Chicken was tough very horrible I'll never go back again

This is my fav Jamaican place I drive an hour just to go specially here I’ve been coming here for 3 years now I literally have no complaints. The brown stew chicken is phenomenal so much flavor my fav from here.

I love the food (oxtails and curry goat) at Peppers. I drive from the Pasadena area just to get some good grub! Disappointed today that they were not answering the phone for take out orders and that there was no option available to order online(!!). I did not want to risk the long drive for them to be closed or not serving my favorite Caribbean cuisine due to Soul Food Sunday. I was delighted to find Carribean Gourmet as an alternative and closer proximity to hone. They answered the phone to provide me directions. Great food, fresh and of excellent quality!! I love Carribeam cuisine. ❤

This was my 1st visit. I ordered $40+ worth of oxtail dinners & was greatly disappointed. It wasn't $40 worth of food for it to be a dinner ... the cabbage was crunchy ... the rice & beans had a few crunchy pieces ... the plantains were good. I probably won't be returning. I love Caribbean food... I was disappointed🤦🏽‍♀️ Or you tell me ... this is $20 +tax

Really good food!! Ox tail was amazing! The chicken jerk is really nice and spicy!! Order ahead though as you might end up with a bit of a wait. Might visit again.. sooner than I expected lol.

I love the Brown stewed chicken or fish, and the potatoe salad. Customer service has improved. They make everything fresh to order. No call in unless you able to pay thr cash app. Minimum wait is 30 minutes give or take, but it’s worth it!
