Great place to walk your dogs, fish (catch and release) and enjoy some greenery. Plenty of parking spaces too.

Very nice park. I used to eat lunch while on break here and it was a nice little getaway! It is very well maintained and a park ranger will drive through every once in a blue moon to keep the park nice. There is a very nice apartment complex and golf course on the backside for those who love to play and live near water. The complex even has a mini dog park and a playground.

It was very beautiful and clean when it reopened. But the neighborhood transients and taggers got a hold of it and trashed it. Surely they can hire enough LA city employees to keep up the maintenance on it daily. It needs to be maintained by replacing the fencing that breaks down, removing debris and paint from tagging. They should also hire a security company with round the clock shifts to help with detering taggers and vandals. I personally know someone who hard to restore the lake and landscape but the vandals have no respect for other people's property and just flat out don't care even though they are welcome to enjoy the nature and beauty that it has to offer. Maybe the're should perimeter fencing and charge to access it then maybe people would be more respectful and it could cover the cost to keeping it well maintained.

Great place for lone walks, family activities, fishing, bike path, romantic walks. The park is safe and serene. I myself go there to think. I love taking my dogs there also. If you been there, pack your favorite munchies and grab the family. You'll love it

This was a really cool find. Easy access, parking was a breeze, and all of it hidden.

I can't believe I haven't been here before! We took a quick 20 minute hike all the way around the lake to check out what it has to offer. Two entrances, one on Broadway and one on Broadway Terrace.

Awesome first fishing experience. Really helpful and knowledgeable crew. Spacious and comfortable boat. We went on New Year's Eve and there was only my group (of 3 on board). Needless to say it was very spacious and would easily and comfortably fit 6 people. Max'd out with 10 rock cod/person. Tried our luck at link cod but weren't successful. Got back on time. They can clean and filet your fish for free... And do a good job at that. Price was comparable to other charters. Definitely recommend these guys! They know what they're doing

πŸ‘πŸ‘ I used to live by the reservoir and had the opportunity to jog around the reservoir every day. It's a 2.5 mile loop. I'd get an easy 5 mile jog every day. I felt I'd get to breath fresh air every day. There's a dog park as well. The reservoir went through some renovations recently and pics were...

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Need a break from the lockdown? Head to Franklin and enjoy the gorgeous wilderness right here in the city. We brought our dog and felt totally refreshed after 60 min walking the trails. There are many β€œoff-trail” options too which felt adventurous.
