Beautiful walk by the beach. We parked on the street at the top of the hill and walked down. Loved the sound of the waves crashing onto the shore and all the rocks moving as the waves went back out to sea. Would visit again if I'm ever back in the area!

People go here for the sunset, but I recommend you stay until evening to get a great view of the stars. Not the best spot for stargazing though as there's still light pollution. Still, nothing beats looking at the stars on the seaside with your special someone. The parking is spacious and there's also a public restroom so you can stay for long.

The park has an $8 entry fee, but you get to park for free. Good for large family picnics and weenie roasts. Rocky beach area but beautiful views towards Catalina island. Good for a quick nap on sunny afternoons. Some rock benches but you bring blankets and cushions to sit on. Away from the other crowded beaches. Restrooms are under repair but there are a number of blue shed port-a-potties to cover what is needed with portable wash stands to clean up. Can be windy and a jacket is recommended.

I went to SCUBA dive. I would say the entry and exit can BE VERY CHALLENGING over tide pools and loose/big rocks, gravel and rock formations. In the water you will see several Sea Urchins, Anemones, and a few fish. I enjoyed my dives here. If not SCUBA diving, the beach is a rocky / gravel beach, with several tide pools to explore.

Great place to hang out at the tide pools with kids. The most recent time we visited, the machine for paying for parking on the south end of the parking lot was not working. Other than that we had a nice time. Watch for rogue waves if you go climbing around on the rocks.

I can't express in words how serene, relaxing, and enjoyable visiting these tidepools are! There is a park above the beach with a playground with surrounding small trails for walking and taking in the gorgeous view of the ocean. But the real gem exists below, just beyond the parking lot where the crystal clean waters of the San Pedro coastline collide with rocky beaches. This is heaven for those interested in marine biology, people who enjoy hiking or just anyone with an eye for nature. It's diversity among aquatic life within its tidepools is staggering, the birds that circle the area and live aside it's cliffs as well as the ground squirrels that call that beach home is wonderful. It's best to go when the tide is low (that's when you'll be able to see more animal life without getting too wet). It's an amazing experience but should be done cautiously as the ecosystem is fragile, it's best to only leave footprints behind, not disturb those who live there, and be careful where you tread. Aside from that this is my favorite place to walk and take in that Salty sea breeze. 🌊 🦑

The map on Google will take you to a random house. Just continue going down the road. It's a nice beach. The parking was full when I got there, but you can park on the side of the park and walk down to the beach. You can also hangout at the end, there's rocks you can sit on top of and just watching the ocean and feel the breeze hit your face

Lots of loud music. Pay $10 for parking by the beach. Playground is at top by pay toll both. People fishing here as well. Seen guys with spear guns. Some guys playing R rated music very loud.

This is honestly my favorite place in town. Come here to listen to the sounds of the waves crashing on the rocks. My son loves the tide pools. The sunsets here are the best. Weekends are packed but it never bothered me. Get out and be one with nature this is definitely the place to do so.

White Point Beach has been thier for over 80+ years. Families have been going there from generation to generation including mine. It is full rocks sand. You can barbecue picnic fish there's a lot of fun things to do there. In the middle of the beach there are rocks where the water gets nice and hot.

This has become one of my favorite spots. The views are amazing! Parking costs $3., lots of parking spots, lots to look at. Only downside is that there are no public bathrooms and the porta-potties are really gross.

This is a little hidden gem if you're looking for a place to hang out at the beach and watch the waves crash over the rocks. The differenceces between High and low tide can make the shoreline completely unrecognizable. Low tide exposes a lot of the tide pools and unfortunately people pick up protected sea life. Please be sure to read what and what not is allowed for collection.

After a softball tournament we were trying to find a beach spot to take the kids and this was the only spot we came across almost everything that has a small sand area seems to be private of estate homes with no public access. Price was great 10$ to park we didn’t come prepared to stay long we were there maybe 1 hour. They didn’t have restrooms open only porter potties some were really bad and some just okay. If they had opened restrooms I would probably give it a better rate. Beach was nice seemed pretty clean. It is a rocky location to get to the sand so if your elderly or have knee/leg/feet issues this may not be a good spot as you will have to climb down steep rocks to get to the sand.

It was a beautiful day at the tide pools clean and lots of grilling going on. I recommend taking extra shoes and clothes. You can get some amazing pictures with a nice camera. WARNING dont try to take any of the creatures, rocks or shells, that day a lot of people were getting fined. There are sign along the parking that say this and is ENFORCED. This was one of three stops on our Sunday adventure very relaxing.

Lovely little area. Right side is paved for nice walking and picnics. On the left you have a little island you can wade over too. I've seen lots of people fishing too over the years

Like this place a lot, especially the view from the top section. The park is free to walk in but parking you have to pay. Free parking on the street if you can find parking and just walk in. It's a little windy but enjoyable. I went during the week so weekends may be busier.

This is a gorgeous spot to enjoy the ocean, hop around on rocks, and enjoy the life blooming in the tide pools. With beautiful stone bench seating and clean public restrooms. This is my favorite spot in RPV to soak in some nature.

Spectacular place is so special to see gods creation and share it with the family, love to watch sunset sitting by the rocks. And you never know what you can see or find in the tide pools!

Beautiful place to be. It cost $10’s to get in but it was worth it. Nephews caught sea urchins and crabs, it was so tasty. We had a great time. Not too many people there. Which is how I like it. Not too crowded. They have porter potty‘s and lifeguards. You’re able to bbq, set up tents or canopy’s, swim, surf, go fishing, have a game of football, play music and so much more. My best part was towards the end of our gathering with family and friends was the Sunset. AMAZING!!! We were able to catch it on camera and take photos with each other before it was gone. What a day. MAGNIFICENT!!! 🤩

Beautiful views! Take a little challenge uphill to start the walk/hike just right! You get a beautiful majestic view in the morning and evening, but guaranteed a beautiful view. My wife and I took my little brother, our son, her cousins and our German Shepherd. Everyone enjoyed it. Also got a little history fun facts along the trail- regarding WW2. You get to see some wild little bunnies/rabbits along your walk. People of all ages, along with their fur babies. Definitely a fun family, first date, friend gathering, and a peaceful activity to do!! I've been coming here since I was a little girl and it never gets old.

The sunset was breathtaking, the parking was the only downfall. I had originally planned on going to a neighboring beach but was told the parking lot closed @4pm:( I found some gorgeous shells and chunks of abalone!

Great place to just think and ponder on what got you thinking. I used the moment to think about my new startup business, and the projects I need to complete, or start.

We were looking for a beach with good tide pools, and we loved this one! Also a great picnic and seating area. There on a summer Saturday and it was not crowded except at the very small sand beach. Most of this place is rocks. Parking $10 and there are rinse off stations and flush toilets.

Went there on New Year Day and it was super windy~ we had lots of fun! We were seeing people bring there own bucket or bags for the sea stuff. (Like mussels…) we picked a bit. It was beautiful and good for dogs!

Absolutely breathtaking! Growing up I would always go to the beach with my family on the weekends up to seaside in Jersey. Hearing the waves, smelling the salt water brings me back to my childhood.

A great spot to see the sunset and to walk along the beach. Being a relatively new resident of California this was a great beach to visit. Easy parking as well.

Four stars because a bathroom is important and they only have portapotties here and I’m not a fan of those. Parking is kinda pricey ($10) considering we didn’t stay more than 2 hours. We came for the tide pools. There was not too much to see. There are a lot of hermit crabs and some fish but nothing really special. The coolest thing was seeing a beautiful conch shell (it had a snail inside or I would have taken it home). We came on a Sunday afternoon and it was pretty packed. Lots of people were fishing and hunting for abalone. The waves were soaking people when it hit up against the rocks. It mostly seems like a beach for kids cause it is safe and they can dig and look at rocks.

What a gorgeous getaway. Easy drive up beach. For the dreamers and visionaries to escape to the coast for a moment. Much love to the work put into this little park oasis.
