Hands down the worst place to stay. The staff including the owner act as if they do not want you there. Charged $16 for a friend that helped with luggage. Would of never stayed there if i could have canceled without losing my money. Began calling my room at 10:30 reminding me check out was 11 and the charges i would have to pay if not out by 11. It was so bad that i would bet that they would like this bad review so less people stayed there. Cover up for something else id say. I mean arent hotels supposed to be hospitable? Only gave them a star because i had to for this to post.

My stay was from Friday June 10 threw Sunday June 12. While staying at days inn I found that the staff and the housekeepers where very polite and very respectful. When I checked in on Friday it was late, but the staff and management where very nice and respectable people. The room was nice, the flat screen TV on the wall was a plus, and also the shower ran fantastic. The next morning which was Saturday they had free breakfast and it was also wonderful. When I ran out of supplies for my room the housekeepers had no problem with giving me new stuff right then and there. Also they took the dirty towels right on the spot as well. It was quite nice and clean. The only down fall was the pool area and that's because of to many kids and people so it was a little dirty. Other than that my stay was an A-. I will stay there again if I had to it was awesome.

This location is no longer a Days inn. Doesn't seem to have great service at First Contact.

This place doesn’t deserve a star! It was a waste of money all together. The “heated indoor pool” was ice cold and the chemicals were extremely high that caused my brother to have to go to the hospital due to Chlorine Inhalation. The rooms, hallways, and stair ways were very nasty and smelled awful. The elevators did not work. The hot tub wasn’t filled up for use. The breakfast wasn’t cooked thoroughly and they microwaved everything in front of you. They also have a lot of drug users here and they do not care if you go and address that issue with them. There was a pretty significant amount of trash thrown through out the hallways and stairs. Don’t let me forget that the pool and breakfast isn’t included when you purchase the room. You have to pay $10 extra per adult and child! I’ve never in my life experienced such a horrible stay somewhere.

The Days Inn Hurstbourne is not maintained at all - inside and out. Hotel operators appear to live on site. Crime incidents occur at this location. The general condition is substandard at best.

Hotel needs repair. Jacuzzi was closed and the pool was padlocked. I had to request another blanket because mine had a white smear across it. Looked as though the floor hadn’t been vacuumed. Bathroom was clean though. I would have left if I wasn’t so tired and too broke to cancel and rebook Somewhere else. Woke up to the sex sounds of the people beside me coming through the door adjoining the rooms at 5am. Figured it was time to get the heck out of there.

I have to say that this was first time I have booked a hotel room and wished I didn't. Very old and dirty, this place needed a remodel in 1985, let alone today. I will give them credit for new mattresses, and clean sheets and pillows. However, the bed blanket and top sheet, I tried not to touch (so old). I could not find another local vacancy, so I was force to spend two nights here. The maid came into the room, did not make the bed, replaced my bath towel, took the bath mat towel and did not replace, and did not do any cleaning. And the last guests dirty soap bar was left for me on the first nights stay. I don't think the cleaning team is doing much cleaning at all here. If you can find another place to stay, I'd try there first.

If I could give less stars I would. We typically stay at Days Inn while traveling and usually are satisfied. This is by far the worst and we have visited 17 states at this point. The hotel has a first floor that is external and the next 2 floors are internal entrance. The halls smelled horrible and full of beer bottle caps and debris. Once we entered our room we also found beer bottle caps. I went to place the milk in the fridge and beer was present there as well. They failed at every level of hospitality and cleanliness. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Exterior of building very run down, pool and hot tub has been closed for quite sometime obviously and the billboard advertises hot tub and pool so lack of keeping up on advertisement, halls smell like pee and no AC in hallways just the rooms. The room itself was okay, clearly not vacuumed or mopped well but the bed was clean. I would not stay here again. Spend the extra 30 dollars to go to the hotel right next door to it. Maybe under new management this place could be nicer if they did more updating.

Overall had a bad experience. The refrigerator had food in it from a previous guest, it wasnt cold enough to keep our food fresh and it made our hamburgers stink up the whole room the next morning. Staff was friendly enough. But they couldn't give a refund back after we booked into another hotel. The building itself is ragged, with tv cables dangling around. The TV had a hard time working it seemed. The breakfast room was very small for the amount of people they try to accommodate. The pool and hot tub weren't even functional while we were there. The building has poor functioning ac. On top of all of that. The room itself felt dirty. There were stains on the sheets and towels and they were very dingy with tears and holes in them like they've never replaced them ever, And there was a nasty looking smear on the head board. Just an overall bad experience and wasnt worth the money. Seriously go somewhere else.

Traveling thru the area. Website didn't mention office closed at 10pm. Arrived 930pm. Looked for a place with a pool and breakfast. Arrived had no pool, no breakfast, no wifi, no ice machines, no vending machines, no working elevator, no heat in the hallways. Old microwave, beds had old itchy blankets, no comforter. Overall horrible experience. Not even mentioning the crack heads in the lobby, and abandoned animals in room with police orders on the doors.

The staff is very friendly and the hotel is very comforting. Its also a plus that you get discounted delivery from papa johns. The only two downfalls is that our room wasn't ready when we checked in, and the comforter was dirty or at least badly stained. I asked for a replacement and never got them. There are also holes an scrapes throughout the room. All an all it needs remodeling and new bedding.

Worst experience ever. I had met a family friend here for the weekend and I payed for the first two night which was $118 for TWO. The male had went back up to the lobby as we were going to stay one more night. And they charged him $100 for a room for ONE night... they put us on the 3rd floor when there was NOONE there and at off time of the night it sounded like someone was trying to get in our door the card swiped kept beeping . So be aided being scammed and not comfortable. Great location.

first things first: the lock in the entrance is missing. literally just a hole where it was. when we first got there, the only staff in the lobby was a cleaning lady. after standing there maybe a minute she asked us to ring the bell. after 10 minutes (we timed it) i rang it again. 5 or so min. later someone who couldn’t check us in came in and asked us to wait for someone else. 15 minutes later someone else came in. overall, it took 30 mins just to check in. it was 80 degrees and humid out, and the lobby has no AC. the elevator sounds like it desperately needs serviced. there is no knob to get to the stairs, so they shoved a rag under the door. upstairs, there are exposed wires hanging on the walls, the hallway is only lit to the last booked rooms (of course ours) and it looked super creepy. everything in there was unplugged and turned off, and the fridge had MOLD in it. first thing we did was take a shower. it looked like someone had folded the towels right after eating doritos or something. there were orange stains on it. the washcloth had a brown stain and there was a hole starting to form. there were holes in the bedsheets. looks awful on the outside. the pool has been out of service for almost a year. don’t come here just because it’s cheap. spend the extra $5 and go somewhere else.

My experience was not pleasing at all. I reserved/pre- paid for a 5-day stay via a priceline site. Which advertised free internet along with a morning complimentary breakfast. Once arriving at the Days Inn to check in, the clerk notified me that they did not have internet and gave no explanation as to why? Just a "we do not have internet", not our service is temporarily down. What modern hotel do you know without internet? Also, no complimentary breakfast?? I felt that this particular hotel is not being ran in a professional way, and not adhering to corporate policies.

Very small, hot rooms. Staff were rude, and acted as though they were being bothered by our presence. The floor mounted AC did not work, and essentially, my fiance and I slept in a sauna. They charged a lot of money for something that I wouldn't have normally paid more than $30.00 for, but I was, unfortunately, in a bit of a bind. Sleep in your car, that would be money better spent.

This hotel is an atrocity. I recently stayed here, and I can honestly say I have never been more disgusted. They promise hospitable greetings and clean rooms where everything works. This could not be farther from the truth. Upon checking in, the staff was rude, and I found my room to have a leak in the ceiling. I changed rooms, only to find ants crawling over my nightstand and bed in the morning after I had woken up. I, again, was to change rooms to have this one cleaned, but when I entered the room, the beds were unmade and the sheets were stained and dirty. I finally got a nonsmoking room, which seemed fine. Then I caught a whiff of smoke. The entire room smelled like marijuana. The entire hotel stunk of weed, really. This was definitely a bad decision. Not to mention the poor sanitation! There were used needles and syringes found in the hallway carpets. The breakfast was the exact same every day as well -- frozen biscuits, moldy yogurt, and gravy that will make your nose curl. If I could give this hotel a true rating from my experience, I would definitely be giving it negative stars. I will never be staying here again among the drugs, rude staff, and insects ever again, and I advise that nobody else ever does either.

Ignore the bad reviews. We checked in for a 3 day 2 night stay, and for the price, this place cannot be beat. Despite our room being fairly close to the elevator, and them being pretty busy, it was very quiet. Our room was sparkling and clean, and we slept well, even with a toddler who is somewhat noise-sensitive and a light sleeper. Sam, the manager, and his staff were some of the most courteous friendliest people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Air conditioner was nice and cold, and we wanted for nothing during our entire stay. Our every need was met. Indoor pool was nice, and continental breakfast was generous and good. Biscuits and gravy was hot, bread was fresh and coffee was good. (Note: breakfast is 6am to 9pm, and it goes quickly -- so get there early!)

Check in fast and friendly even though a few guests were ahead of me. Room was nice and cool, the temp I prefer. Room spacious and clean. Bathroom spotless, towels nice and fluffy and white. TV nice, remote easy to use, had my favorite channels. Bed was superb! Breakfast well stocked, clean, but no fruit. Checkout quick, manager Sam at desk, very friendly...will return soon!
