I ate there on Sunday. In addition to the food not even being warm except for the lettuce, it was contaminated with something that caused severe diarrhea for the entire week! How dirty can your restaurant be to cause such an issue?! We will never eat there again!

We decided to give them a try again. We received a coupon in the mail for chicken fajitas for two for $18.99. We invited my cousin and her husband to go with us. We all ordered that coupon special. Several margaritas, beer, cheese, and sides were ordered with a total bill of over a $140. When we checked out we were told only one couple could use the fajita coupon. It only saved $ 5, but it was a lousy thing in my opinion, especially from a place that's trying to win back customers. The food was excellent, I recommend it to everyone. Maybe they will get the service to the level of the food someday.

The service was horrible; the waitress never refilled our drinks, and every one of our orders were completely wrong and had to be sent back. The carne asada was really overdone, and we were just generally displeased. I gave them one star because I couldn't give them a negative number of stars. We won't be back.

Drove back to the restaurant b/c my order was wrong. One of the rudest servers I've ever encountered insinuated it was my fault, & didn't apologize or offer to make it right in any way. Called manager who said he'd make it right on my next visit, but I'm not holding my breath. Was so excited when they re-opened, but I'll head right back to Fiesta Time where the food & service are always top notch.

We ordered 3 tacos off the la carte menu. When the sever brought it out there was only 2 tacos . We brought it to his attention he acted like he didn't understand an they didn't bother in correcting our order

I love this location because they are always friendly and the wait is never long. Whenever I’m feeling a little “under the weather” my goto is their chicken tortilla soup - with an order of their warm flour tortillas (: every bite is just flavorful and fulfilling.

I really enjoyed this location. The staff was friendly and enthusiastic. The music was great and the food was fresh and hot. I'm also gluten sensitive and was able to eat there just fine.

If I can give you 10 starts I would!!! Me and my family were there this weekend the place was pack(as usual), the waiter was very kind and respectful, our drinks, appetizers and food made it to our table almost immediately. Everything was delicious and the frozen margarita on point! Definitely the best Mexican restaurant in Bardstown rd/Fern Creek!!

The place was nice food was ok. Asked for olives and they made me feel like an alien! Wowwwww

Absolutely love their salsa at this store i feel I can comfortably say I have been to nearly every el nopal in the area and this ones hot salsa is killing the rest

Good food! It had been awhile since we are at El Nopal but the food was better than I remember. Margaritas were perfect. We went early around 5 for dinner. No wait and quick service.

Was crowded but manageable on a Friday. Waited a few min for a table was slow getting ordered and getting food but not bad. Staff had their hands full but our server was running at times and keeping 2 large and 2 small tables, food was good and portions were good

Very nice and quick, food is always good and hot service is great, servers are always willing to make sure your food is correct, and very courtesy, this one of our favorite Nopals glad it is back in business

We were promptly seated and the service was quick. Employees wore masks the entire time they were visible. All the other patrons had masks when waiting to be seated. Our food came out quick and was delicious. The margaritas were good. The entire experience was great.

Ordered the taquitos mexicanos which is supposed to be 2 shredded beef and 2 chicken, all 4 were chicken. Secondly I almost choked on a one inch piece of bone ?I could have easily ended up in the hospital with a torn esophagus. Don't know exactly what it was but it didn't break. Will definitely not be back.

Unfortunately, we had an absolutely horrible experience all around. Management was unapologetic and complacent to poor service provided. There was absolutely no motivation or accountability to improve their services. Food was bland, weakly seasoned, and of poor quality. Additionally, establishment was insensitive and complicit in creating an unsafe space safe for cultural differentiation and inclusivity, allowing a certain race of individuals to intentionally disrupt our dining experience. Though initially excited that the Fern Creek El Nopal was back in business after a fire destroyed their original space, I now wholeheartedly retract that sentiment. It is a shame. Fiesta Time down the road, here we come❣️

Grand Re-Opening review Everything is new, furniture too, the smell of fresh paint, ac is wonderful and booths have hardly been used. brand new everything, low traffic hot hot food very very fast too! Welcome back! Seafood burrito, guacamole, rice n black beans, my go to!

Great place to eat. Really like the remodel. A beautiful choice of colors with inviting appeal. The manager Samuel is a great guy too. Had the carne asada w/rice and bean’s to split with my wife. Nice portion size marinated and cooked to perfection! Meat was tender and juicy not dry the bean’s and rice were very good also!

Cheap, good, and very fast service... love this location! Love it... just funny to see Trump supporters eating here. I'm here every two weeks... great food! Order off the under $10 section... you get alot for your money.

It was ok but not a 4 star. Food was hot but very dry tasting. The lady waiting on was was attentive and got what we needed. Our crab quesadilla could have used some type of sauce on top to take away from the dryness of the dish.

Good food, excellent service. Every year on St. Patrick's Day, we have a big group of 25 or so people for a birthday party. They take great care of us!

This particular El Nopal is all around excellent. Great drinks, food, and service. I can’t wait for it to open back up!

The waitress that waited on us never brought us a menu, got my steak taco order wrong she kept saying steak taco fajita then didnt ask if I wanted corn or flour shells then towards the end she asks my husband if he wanted more pizza. Too expensive for just two orders A la Carta.
