I have never anything short of a great experience at this place, the staff is always super nice and the food is amazing. I love the tots but my favorite is the Nirvana dog. They have a bunch of vegetarian options too! They also have an comedy open mic every Thursday at 8:30 that's great for newbies and veterans alike. They also have dollar beers during the open mic and if you get there early, they have $1 wings available until 9! Check them out if you get the chance, I highly recommend it.

Really fun place. Good food. Fast, friendly service. Wide variety of toppings. DO NOT WEAR "good clothes/church clothes" here,these are messy hot dogs! Just a great place to hang out, eat, play games, and socialize.

U have got to go here. 1st time, Wagu dog bacon wrapped with Germantown topping - was sooo good. Not your average sauerkraut & great pretzel roll. Nice quaint little bar area & large casual dining area. Food was well prepared and arrived quickly.

Neat little spot. Wasn't a fan of the hotdogs though but the toppings were alright. Hotdogs tasted like the dogs you'd get from a grocery store in the deli aisle.. just too salty & the texture was very dry from being in the freezer for so long I suppose. But the tots were pretty good & well seasoned with just enough black pepper.

Oh my gosh. This place was amazing! Voodoo Dogs in Tallahassee, Fl was my favorite until now. This place, in addition to having clever toppings, has clever dogs. We got a spicy red dog with Mexican street corn on top and a carrot dog (the get BIG carrots and marinate and grill them so they’re like eating a sausage) topped with hummus and veggie relish. Both were on gluten free buns. We had bourbon blue fries and a side of brussel sprouts. Both were to die for. If we ever are in the area again, we will definitely stop here.

Just amazing!! Great quality meats plus creative vegan options available, their sauerkraut balls are so delicious, really enjoyed their Rose Bubbles for a drink...! Perfection all the way..

Usually when my husband and I have really bad days at work, we come here for dinner and that makes everything better. All the employees are very helpful and knowledgeable. They let me put bacon on my hotdog and now I feel like I have too much power lol We've never had a bad experience here. Get the wagyu dog wrapped in bacon, a root beer float and some of their fries! Don't forget their house bourbon sauce. You won't be disappointed! :D

Red Top is fantastic! Best place in Louisville to get a great gourmet hot dog! We came here tonight for our first time, but it will definitely not be our last visit. We ordered the "Flight of the Dogs," which is a sample of all 4 of their main hot dogs. I loved the "Louisville" and the "Black & Blue" the best, but all of their hot dogs are delicious! 5 stars!

Absolutely delicious hot dogs. The ingredients are high quality and it shows. I got the grass-fed link with Louisville toppings. The tater tots were amazing too.

Way over priced for what it is… buns were super hard and dry, chili had NO flavor, the weenie was ok, but the pretzel bites and beer cheese? Omg never again, it was literally like eating folded card board soaked in salt and the cheese was disgusting….. it was my first time ordering so it took me a second to get the menu down and whoever the guy was taking my order was very condescending, just rude…… never again

They make the best hot dogs here that I’ve ever had. Who knew you could turn a hot dog into a gourmet treat? A good selection of beer, hot dogs, and toppings will keep you coming back.

We had Red Top Hotdogs food truck cater our fall wedding at an outdoor venue and we were blown away! Telling guests that they are eating hot dogs did not do their experience justice! We got rave reviews from our guests, many of which, had multiple hot dogs given the diversity of the menu. While non-traditional, it was a total hit from the average wedding food, and absolutely made the day super unique. The service from Ryan start to finish was seamless! He was responsive, collaborative, and super easy to work with. Also, don't sleep on his bread pudding! No one even noticed we didn't have cake! I can't say enough good things about this vendor, book them!

Delicious and great staff. I had a wagu dog with the Louisville topping (flint style Coney sauce) as a Detroit native I was very happy with it!

Red Top has been a solid favorite since Ryan first opened the food truck. Watching the growth of Red Top is an honor. The location is loaded with an extensive menu that as for any dietary restriction. You can change the type of weiner you want for any dog. The sliders are killer and the loaded tots TO DIE FOR. Want to chill and pong? They offer free games and seating connected to the bar and kitchen. A great atmosphere for families. But most importantly, a spot to filled your foodie desires!!!

Obviously Red Top is known for their hotdogs, but the tater tots deserve recognition! I have now tried all four varieties of the loaded tots and truly can’t decide which one is my favorite.
