Restaurant Indian restaurant Delivery service Indian takeaway

😠 Ordered a delivery and as soon as I opened the pack the chicken looked uncooked. When I stuck my fork in the chicken, red blood oozed out. Terrible that no one could see this chicken was no where near cooked. People often mention Indian, good, service, restaurant, friendly, taste, staff, Lisbon, delicious, dosa,

The masala in the dosa was at least 2-3 days old. Sambhar was literally cold as if taken out directly from refrigerator and served on bowl. Chole bhature had good chhole but the bhatura wasvery bad. It was a thick bread. Masala tea was also bad. It had lot of milk.

The food was very good, and there were a lot of options on the menu! Only reason I give it 4 stars is because it was a little expensive, and it a slightly inconvenient location to get to. I wouldn’t go again for those reasons, but still very good food, vibe, and staff.

Delicious!!!! Not spicy at all tho but the pickles are the most flavorful and rich thing I’ve eaten in many many years. Loved it. Service is also really good and drinks are great.

No question - our favourite meal we had in Lisbon! If you're British, you have to go here. All the food was amazing, especially the aloo tikki chaat and dosa. The potato filling on the dosa was so fragrant, and the accompanying sauces were just brilliant, especially the coconut one. I think I could eat one of their dosa every day. Great cocktail menu too, little bit disappointing that Kingfisher beer was sold out but it's no big deal. One small thing is I wish paper menus would come back, the whole scan the QR thing is a pain. Staring at your phone at tiny writing is not a fun experience! The staff were very friendly, and everything arrived in a good time and hot. Really great open kitchen at the back too. I'd absolutely go back if i return to Lisbon!

Average Indian food. Not the best, not the worst. Got extremely loud, so don't expect a quiet meal with the person at your table.

One of the most authentic Indian food places you'll find in Lisbon. The chole bhature and the aloo tiki Chaat were particularly good. The cocktails were also nice, especially the daro mat drink. Would highly recommend for great food, amazing service, pleasant decor and an overall good time

It was a weekday night that we went for dinner here on our short trip to Lisbon. We reached quite early around 7.15pm and it was quiet and empty around then. We ordered masala Dosa, golgappa, aloo tikki chaat and chole bhature. Everything was super delicious and customized to be more spicy for our taste. We really loved our visit here and would surely come back when we visit Lisbon next

Food taste was good I would give 4/5 I ordered fried okhras for starters which could have been little more crispy and for the main course chole bhatura which was not mentioned in the menu but it was showing online in the main website so I directly asked the waitress if they still have and luckily I got to have. I liked it although bhatura was little small compared to the size in India but thats not any majoy point, it was pretty delicious. However one thing which I totally disappointed with is the price. For a single person, this much price doesn’t make sense in portugal. I have been in many restaurants here from average to fine dine ones but I don’t agree with the prices specially starter price, I mean in 7 - 8 euros an individual can have a main course in portugal, it’s beit funny for me. Anyway overall the restaurant ambiance is pleasant, service is friendly, waiting time is not bad and good food taste.

We got a tip from one our waiters in Porto to eat here. It’s definitely the best tip that we followed up on. One of the best Indian food restaurants in Lisbon. Ingredients were fresh, food was delicious, and drinks were tasty with a little Indian touch. There are so many options for Indian food in Lisbon but this place is definitely a must go!

The service was great, for sure. The food, I would say with the starters we were lucky to have a super tasty dish, the mushrooms were amazing. For the main, we had chicken tikka and another vegetarian dish, and to me that seemed pretty bland - quite the disappointment really. The desert was great, loved it. I understand the Portuguese are a bit more fragile and don't understand proper Indian food, which is extremely tasty and flavoursome, we came to experience proper Indian food, and instead the mains seemed like a dumbed down version lacking flavour. I would give this place a second chance, for sure, and only because the starters and the service were so good. Dumbing down your dishes to make it more attractive to the 'locals' didn't seem to have worked the trick and attract more Portuguese, maybe if you helped the locals and those more experienced with flavours better match the right dishes to their capacity to enjoy flavour, then you would have a more successful customer base and busier restaurant.

Great authentic Indian food that you probably can’t find anywhere else in Lisbon. The restaurant could use some atmosphere improvements to make it cozier. I must point out that the staff is SUPER friendly and welcoming.

Ambience and service are fine but the food is no where close to Indian taste. Plus, did not seem that the food is freshly prepared, seemed more like frozen stuff. If you are looking for authentic Indian taste, not the place!

We landed earlier in the day in Lisbon and wanted a solid, vegetarian friendly meal after our flight. We found Chutnify and since it was close to our flat, we walked there around 20:30. The staff were so friendly and answered all of our questions. The restaurant itself is small and has a wonderful atmosphere. The food portions were perfect and for the two of us, we ordered the spicy potatoes, dal & garlic naan. Everything was fresh and very tasty. Highly recommended. Also, our waiter was so friendly and gave us suggestions on what to do and see in Lisbon as well as another staff member. They even told us to come back even just for any questions we had. 5/5 stars absolutely, we loved Chutnify.

I'm a local and went with my girlfriend to chutnify. We heard about it but went totally by chance. The food surprised us, it was truly delicious. Not the typical 100 types of meal u usually find in these Asian/Indian restaurants, but the dishes they make are truly above average. The atmosphere is amazing, very well decorated, quiet atmosphere, serves both locals and visitors and well within typical price range. Overall 5 stars. P.s amazing bathrooms

Shown up half an hour late for the reservation, but could get a table. Food is more of vanity of presentation than taste, but definitely above average Masala tea was far from any Indian tea from any state and gajar halwa (carrot cake) was overcooked (May be as a result of cooking - freezing - reheating cycle!) Location - 8/10 Ambiance - 7/10 Friendliness - 7/10 Food Presentation - 9/10 Quality - 7/10 Value - 6/10 Recommendation - 7/10 Return - no

This was the most flavor -filled meal we had in Lisbon and might be the best Indian meal I have had ever. (I have had Indian in London and New York) Simply so tasty. Service was quick and friendly. Some of our favorites were the duck dosa and the lamb biryani. The crispy fried okra also amazing.

Good Indian neighborhood restaurant with an expansive menu. The place is not very big and it was pretty much packed when I got there at 9:15pm, but I was able to get a table within a few minutes. The personnel is very friendly and it looked as if all guests were satisfied with their dining experience. Clientele was a mix of locals and tourists.

Neat little restaurant in a good location. The staff is polite, friendly and efficient. The food is served quickly, so great place to go if you’re hungry. The decor is nice, with reference to Indian movies. The food is average. The Gol Gappa is usually served with tamarind sauce but they didn’t have that. The okra fries should be light and crispy but they were battered and oily. The dossa was good but the chutneys definitely below par. The palak paneer, was good in that there was plenty of paneer and you didn’t have to go searching for a small piece in a pot of spinach, but there was an odd after taste. The tables are very close together and due to my Covid experience I’m still not very comfortable with such close proximity, specially when without masks. I would go there again but I’ll keep my expectations in check.

As a big fan of indian food I think the food was good but was missing the spices, needed a punch of flavour. If not I would have given 5 stars. They serve very mild, adopted to European taste. Perfect as introduction to Indian food but not for authentic full flavour lovers.

Have been here for dinner time. Nice Ambiente. The food was not too spicy, which I liked. We only had some different starters but they tasted good. Unfortunately the mango lassis had ice cubes and therefore the lassi tasted not so good anymore after short time. The mango mousse was really good. Although there was much space available we only got a small table and when we left still the bigger tables have been empty

(Translated by Google) Great Indian restaurant at Principe Real, on my visit we chose to share various menu items. We decided to go for dishes that we didn't find in other restaurants and give absolute emphasis to the duck dosa that was divine, with a very tasty duck meat. The cocktails that come out of the bar are creative, we opted for the tamarind margarita and the kachumber cooler, which were perfect to accompany the start of dinner. We also tried the thick, creamy and delicious Mango Lassi, with a very fragrant mango flavor, it was absolutely amazing and refreshing to drink. The restaurant is cozy and relatively small. On a Friday or Saturday night reservation is recommended.

Had visited this place on a Monday evening for dinner and ordered chole, butter naan, dal makhani and Bombay potatoes. All the items were very well made. Each of them were prepared with authentic method. The servers were kind enough to keep checking on our comfort level over the food and seating which is welcoming. Pricing is really reasonable too. Would recommend this place for a good Indian meal.

The quality of the food is really good, but some of the portions are small. We had different things to try: Cheese Dosa, Sweet Potato Chamussas, Pomegranate Raita, Cheese Nan, Tandoor Chicken, everything was delicious but because the table was so small it almost didn't fit and it got a bit discomfortable. If it was for the taste of the food I would give five stars, but... The food came really fast, so fast the cocktail that I asked arrived after the food. The restaurant has too too many small tables, very close to each other, so it gets really noisy and it gets hard to talk to the persons you are with, you need to shout... I know it would be less profit, but they should consider to take out some of the tables.

Highly disappointed, to say the least. Called before to confirm if they have parking, they said yes, it is not at all a problem. Spent at least half an hour trying to look for a parking spot upon reaching there. When it comes to food, we were excited to try this place based on good reviews. Ordered Masala Dosa, paneer curry, Garlic cheese naan etc. Masala dosa was below average for me. Accompaniments like Samabar and chutnies were barely enough for a person to taste them, let alone finishing the whole dosa with it. Potato masala was exceptionally dry. Others items were also mediocre. The whole thing didn't work for me unfortunately.
