Worst tour operating company. The staff was nice but they have the lowest priority. They are the cheapest option and it shows. Of 30 balloons on a field 28 blow up first at the same time. Then Go ally after 20 balloons have lifted off magic horizon finally starts blowing up their balloon. They are the only balloon that didn’t launch until AFTER sunset. I kept asking and telling them sun is rising and they said 3 min 3 min. Their balloons had patches and the fire blower was broken and they had to fix it using a pocket tool as we were in the basket. They have 20 people in a basket and if you get in first you are cramped in the middle with no view. Avoid and go for a better company if you have any choice. We paid $45 per person for 45 min but we actually only got 30 min.

A professional team and excellent organization: hotel transfer, tea/coffee reception on the boat, explanations of safety instructions, transfer to the balloon, everything worked perfectly. The flight itself is a magical moment. You start at dusk and watch the sunrise from above, which bathes everything in a magical pink light. We flew over the fields and houses of the locals, as well as the surrounding temples. The hot air balloon's 360 degree rotations allowed for incredible panoramic views and the capture of great videos. The pilot explained everything and gave us 50 minutes of pure joy. The best experience we've ever had, incredibly beautiful.

BEWARE!!!!!! this company might be the cheapest, and you can negotiate them down to 30$ a person. However! You will miss sunrise, they are the last to leave! You wake up at 4 am for no reason. You will be waiting around for over 2 hours to be the last one up. note most the reviews here have maybe 1 or 2 reviews, this is because they make fake accounts to bump up their score. I promise you paying more somewhere else would be better.

Very awesome experience! Everything was well-organised: the pick-up at our hotel, the hot air ballon flight and the transfer back to the hotel. The flight was really great and everything was just as promised: our hot air ballon started when it was still dark & we saw the sunrise during the flight. You can see the westbank, the nile, the temples like the famous Hatshepsut Temple or the Ramesseum. The whole flight & landing was very comfortable and smooth. Even though we got picked up at 4:10AM and it was quite a short night, the flight was it totally worth it. Definitely THE highlight of our stay in Luxor. Highly recommended!

The price was in the low end.Payed 53 euro. The experience in it self was awesome. A cable in the ballon burned and the captain didn't noticed it witch was a bit choking 😳

I was really looking forward to this experience but it didn’t turn out quite as I imagined. The communication via email was good enough. £50 GBP per person seemed good value. Our first scheduled flight was cancelled (at 10:30pm the night before) due to bad weather - can’t be helped. We were picked up the following day at 4:10am. Taken by minibus to a boat where we were served ‘breakfast’ (tea/coffee/packaged biscuit). Then taken across the Nike for another short ride to the departure point. There seemed a lot of hanging around in the bus, I believe due to their lack of organisation / not enough man power. We were dropped off ready for our flight and took off soon after. Exactly 30mins in the air (not a minute less) and that part of it was excellent. Landed in a field and then disembarked (Pilot Wawa was great) before yet more disorganisation from the ground team/transportation. We were with this company from 4:10am - 8am and spent just 30mins in the air which was disappointing. It’s worth it but be warned it won’t be the slickest operation you’ve ever experienced.

Absolutely do it. 80 euro and hard to wake up 4 am to do this, this is one experience in a life time. Go for it.

The view was breathtaking! We flew over Luxor and were able to see the main attractions of Luxor such as Hatshepsut Temple from above. Unfortunately it didn't work out that we started on time for sunrise. Nevertheless, it was an unforgettable experience!

We can only recommend the balloon ride. We had the second tour and the air was clear, no fog. Just the sight of all the balloons on the ground and in the air was very beautiful and then came the balloon ride. Indescribably great. Everything top - 5 stars

really the best hot air balloon company in Egypt, as stated)) we didn’t wait anywhere for a minute, everything was very fast - we met at the hotel, went to the crossing by boat, loaded 4 people into the balloon into the compartment and flew off at the end they ask for a tip for the guys who help plant the ball everything is fine, the pilot is competent and experienced

The experience was very disappointing. We chose magic horizon for their reviews of safety but the ride was completely underwhelming. Firstly, they flew us over the random village houses when there were so many balloons flying over the valley. We had to try hard to not fall asleep. Next, they said they will be providing light breakfast but all they gave was a packet of wafers and tea. Also, the video gift that was promised was not delivered. When we requested for it after the ride, they said that we had to pay extra 25$ when they clearly mentioned in the package that it would be included. And after voicing it out, they sent us a video of a different flight group which we were not part of. This flight was totally not worth 100$, it's just a big scam.

Ballon experience is awesome . All team is professional. After booking directly from sindabad balloons I got last minute offer in 30$ .

Do not buy the excursion with this agency. Departure not guaranteed and they do not refund the total amount, because paid by credit card. They charge 5%, don't want to refund by card. They keep the 5%+ of the supposed fees for their precious time. The departure that same morning was not made due to the weather. We lost 550 egp.
