Delicious Sang Nyuk Mian in KK In PJ, my favourite place to eat sang nyuk mian will be Ding Xiang in Damansara Uptown. I have been going there since they opened for business. So when in KK, how can I miss eating to this delicacy where it originated from? I'd been looking for a good place, not necessarily the best one but rather convenient and near to our hotel. Kim Heng Lee in Sinsuran seemed to be the best nearby, so we drove here for breakfast before heading to our destination of the day. The first thing that I checked when I entered the premise was their cooking station. The aroma and sight of their food were very inviting.. good sign. ◾Silky hor fun cooked in soup or dry style - slurping was made effortlessly. The soup alone was murky, sweet and tummy comforting. ◾Fiery yet addictive chilly sauce - one of the vital ingredients for the noodle to provide oomph ◾Thinly sliced pork meat - thinly cut and smooth texture. Adults and kids alike approved it. ◾Innards - intestines, kidney, liver .. again, if you love spare parts, this will appeal to you because everything was cleaned thoroughly. When I came here, the food was generally good. At the time when I wrote on this place, I'd noticed many mixed reviews.

Delicious "sang yuk" noodles... Dried with black sauce or even yummy soup is my favourite too. Lots of thin sliced meats, intestines and livers too. Price rm11/bowl but worth it... I think

Overall Experience : Amazing bowl of pork noodles 1. Dry pork noodles - A lot of thin slices of pork, broth of soup is amazing, intestine and liver could be better. Dry noodles are savoury and chewy. 2. Service - Normal 3. Serving time - 15 mins 4. Affordability - RM9 5. Atmosphere - Fan

This place is "hidden" in middle of the shoplot which you can't see it by the roadside, after parking, walk through the shoplot street and you will find it. I have to say they have the best San Nyuk Mian 生肉面 (Mixed Pork Noodle) for me in Kota Kinabalu 🐷🐖😋 But the service was quite bad during our last visit, seated down for more than 5 minutes and no one came to serve us although we have called them a few times. Anyway high recommended for tourist and also locals 👍👍👍👍

Such a cool place, where you feel like time stops here and preserved that Chinese shop atmosphere from the previous century. Food was delicious - Sang Nyuk Mee (生肉面 in Chinese), Raw Pork Noodle - it's delicious noodle dish, served in Kon Lau Mee style (干捞 in Chinese) - noodles are served in separate bowl and mixed in aromatic dark soy sauce and pork oil, together with another bowl of tasty pork broth with fresh tender pork slices. For chili lovers, you can add the homemade blended tangy chili and ginger sauce. Such a treat 🤤

The pork soup was nice. The pork slices are the softest and most tender I've ever eaten in pork soup. We ordered just the soup without noodles. It's not too crowded on week days.

Down to earth pork soup. Basic pork soup includes pork slice, intestine and liver. Pork tendon and kidney are available on request. Pork slices are soft and tender. Liver was perfectly cooked. Noodles is fragrant and come with thick soya sauce. Chilli sauce is hot and spicy.

One of the oldest kopitiam near the city center. Food quality is average and slightly pricier for me. Personally we think that the soup base is kind of salty, other than that everything is okay. Staff is friendly, price sits on the higher end.

One of my favourite restaurant. This is original restaurant and its taste same with their branches in kepong and puchong (last time).

Kon lo noodles too saucy and too sweet for me. Quantity of meat was mediocre, honestly am quite disappointed for the price paid. RM12.20 for a small amount of food, coffee was RM3.20. Childhood nostalgia but may search elsewhere for a fix next time.

Loved the pork mee. The thinly sliced pork is yummy especially when dipped in the spicy sauce. The soup is thick and has interesting flavours.

Found it on google map, and then asked around local friends, they said give it a try. Very easy to find, small middle shop that’s very old school. The meat is very soft and smooth, it’s the real KK taste. The noodles and MeeHoon is just so so, plain mixture with black sauce. Don’t expect much for service. The lady boss took our order and yet still delivered the meat soup with pig liver and intestine when I specifically requested to remove.

Nothing fancy but simplicity to bring out the best in pork soup. I'm impressed with natural sweetness in a savoury soup. Well balanced and clean without porky note. Even the kopi-o is satisfying in Nanyang style. Take note it's available for breakfast and lunch only.

Maybe there is no big variety of dishes but the taste was what we were looking for and we got here. Also the coffee served wasn't instant.

Our group of 5 eat for 3 days straight for breakfast. The pork soup is done just right. Using charcoal to boil the soup for that special flavour. The kidney is slice to the perfect thickness. Tenderloin slice so soft its melt in your mouth experience. Everything is right Mama Mia!

Somehow it does taste btter back in KK. Thin and nice. Wish the liver and intestine were more. Not enough for a giant like me haha

My go-to noodles place every time I stay in KK. Noodles is well-served and tastes ok, kinda plain but go well with soya sauce addition. Service is fast and staff is courteous

This is a common eatery that serves tasty comfort food. Only one dish sold here: pork noodles -- available in dry or soup (broth) version. I highly recommend the soup version. This was one of the best pork noodles I've eaten. Pork slices are tender and perfectly cooked. It comes with liver and pork intestines, so if you're not a fan just tell them to leave it out. The soup was a little salty to my taste, which is easily fixed by asking them to dilute a bit with hot water (and taste remains delish!) Some may consider it steep at RM8.50/bowl, but it's a satisfying meal that hits the right spot.

Konloumien with pork mix soup seems very popular tho they have the soup noodle version. Thin tender meat, taste very original...homestyle..and gives a feel of the good ol' days. Coffee is good too

If you love thick soy sauce and noodle this is a must go place for you. The taste of this noodle is so old school and without fancy presentation. The meat was so thin and the soup was so flavor. Yellow noodle is best to go with dry version( GonLou), or you can order mix any two type of noodle for your liking. You will not regret to visit here.

The framed birthplace of Sheng Rou Mian ("raw" meat noodles) has proven popular with locals for over 30 years and in my opinion the flavor has remained consistent since my first visit 4 years ago. The namesake "raw meat" is thinly sliced pork, flash cooked their rich broth to maintain a silky smooth texture. (The soup gets more flavourful the more they cook in it throughout the day) The dried noodles are served with dark caramelized soy sauce and fragrant shallot infused oil to smack your taste buds with umami and some old school charm. Worth a visit if you happen to be in town yo!

The best sheng rou noodle ever had!!! Must try, love with the dry noodle. The pork so bouncy, juice and tender.
