Aichurok
Zhoroevna
Mambetova
is
my
personal
PTSD
and
the
person
whom
I
will
remember
as
the
first
medical
violence
in
my
life
in
35
years
of
life.
I
had
a
bronchoscopy
with
this
doctor.
This
was
absolutely
unacceptable
torture
in
the
21st
century.
I
told
the
doctor
that
I
couldn’t
breathe,
that
it
was
hard
for
me
-
technically,
the
doctor
could
have
stopped
this
procedure
and
offered
to
go
through
it
again
under
anesthesia
or
sedation.
But
no,
instead,
the
doctor
spoke
rudely,
raised
her
voice
and
did
not
stop,
no
matter
what
I
said.
It
was
absolute
torture
and
violence
that
I
still
cannot
forget.
I
would
not
have
written
this
review
if
I
had
not
seen
in
my
extract
a
“nice”
note
from
Aichurok
Zhoroevna
Mambetova
“inappropriate
behavior”
-
right
next
to
the
bronchoscopy.
Dear
Aichurok
Zhoroevna!
When
you
shout
at
a
patient
and
ignore
his
condition,
this
is
inappropriate
behavior
for
a
doctor.
It
is
part
of
your
profession
to
see
the
patient's
condition
and
respond
to
it.
If
a
patient
feels
bad
and
he
tells
you
about
it
out
loud,
your
professional
responsibility
is
to
respond
adequately
to
this.
And
not
to
shout
and
say
after
the
procedure:
“Did
you
even
hear
what
I
told
you?”
I
heard,
and
you?
Did
you
hear
that
I
felt
sick
during
the
procedure?
Have
you
heard
me
tell
you
this
many
times?
What's
the
matter
with
you,
do
you
have
sadistic
tendencies
that
you
can't
cope
with?
Please
contact
a
psychiatrist
in
this
case.
Please
stop
working
as
a
doctor
if
you
are
unable
to
speak
politely
and
adequately
respond
to
the
fact
that
a
patient
becomes
ill
during
a
procedure
-
that’s
your
job.
For
me,
communication
with
you
was
a
waking
nightmare,
after
which
I
told
you
out
loud
that
it
was
cruel
and
p...ts.
I'm
sorry
I
swore,
but
I
can't
say
anything
else
about
your
work.
This
is
the
worst
medical
experience
of
my
life.
This
is
a
terrible
experience
of
violence
and
humiliation.
Please,
dear
patients,
if
the
doctor
behaves
with
you
like
Aichurok
Zhoroevna
Mambetova,
do
not
be
silent,
say
and
write
that
this
is
unacceptable,
that
the
doctor
is
obliged
to
stop
the
procedure
if
he
sees
and
hears
that
the
person
is
feeling
unwell.
Raising
your
voice,
blaming
and
shaming
the
patient
is
unacceptable.
If
you
feel
physically
ill
during
the
procedure,
it
is
not
your
fault!
Remember
this
and
do
not
let
doctors
like
Aichurok
Zhoroevna
intimidate
you
and
convince
you
that
you
must
silently
endure
pain
and
rudeness.
You
don't
have
to.
You
can
talk
about
your
discomfort
out
loud,
and
this
is
important.
This
is
the
only
way
we
can
get
humane
and
professional
medicine
(with
our
taxes,
sorry),
and
not
torture,
rudeness
and
violence
in
the
21st
century.
“Inappropriate
behavior”
in
the
discharge
form
is
my
attempt
to
tell
the
doctor
out
loud
many
times
that
I
feel
very
bad
and
I
want
this
procedure
to
stop.
No
one
should
silently
endure
pain
and
a
difficult
condition,
no
one
should
be
blamed
or
shamed
for
pain
and
a
request
to
stop
the
procedure
:(
