Usual French castle/chateau experience. Mp3 players for the non French speakers amongst us. Focus on the silk production that the area is famous for historically.

Very good animation around the castle. Very enthusiastic instructor, I'm not a native French speaking person, but very understandable and vibrant explanation! Keep up the good work!

I missed having a real guide. Besides this it was a great experience, especially for the kids.

They had an audio tour in a lot of languages which was great but, every show was in french and with the amount of dutch and english tourist who came to the shows there should have been an english alternative.

Great blacksmiths and trebuchet demonstrations. Inside the audio tour is avaliable in English. Good value stayed around 3 hrs.

It was not great for small children and not nearly as interesting as advertised. For example, I only saw the "ghosts of the obliette" mentioned on the signs. Once inside, it was a lot more about silk making.

Great place to visit with the family. View from the top is wonderful and the live trebuchet demo is pretty cool if you're interested in that kind of stuff. The actual launching of the projectile is underwhelming because they (understandably) don't crank the thing to full and after waiting a solid 30+ minutes you've unintentionally set high expectations. Still recommend!
