I stopped in for a pint on my trip to Grenoble and was happy with the friendly atmosphere. The bar is clean and well maintained. The bartender spoke English which was helpful and she answered my questions. I was solo and read a book while I drank my pint. I left around 7pm when the bar was just beginning to get busier.

If your coming for beer.. yes. You won't find teas here. Warm and lively atmosphere by the river.

I LOVED it. Great atmosphere. It felt like I was back in Ireland. Great choice on scotch. Guinness in a pint. Okay, it's not Black Widow, which you can find in Cardiff 😉, it's Guinness. I can recommend the pub. I didn't take pictures this time, so read the review 🤫😉

I love this pub for its music and its atmosphere. The place is big, with a terrace. They also have a great choice of beers, especially Irish ones, and do a lot of offers on them. It's not especially cheap though, if you just want a beer you can find cheaper in Grenoble

My favorite bar in Grenoble. Nothing fancy but a good poor of my favorite Irish beer. The bathroom is bigger than a closet. So there is that.

Great Irish bar in the heart of Grenoble, a true jewel hidden away in the old part of town. A great place for a drink, and the bar staff are friendly. Can get a bit busy when sporting events are on.

Will always enjoy a pint in this "pub"! It's great how lively it gets on match days. If the weather is good they bring a screen or two on to the terrasse ! Good for a chilled game of darts too.

Perfect place for few evening beers

We had a 24 hour stop in Grenoble and discovered that there seemed to be about 1,0000 Irish/British pubs in town, often just across from each other. But several people recommended this one, and it did not disappoint. As an American, I was thrilled they were showing a college football game on TV. Great selection of craft beers. And we had a nice charcuterie/cheese plate.

Very popular pub for students and young adults. Only one choice of cider which is very overpriced. Overall a good atmosphere.

I love this place but unfortunately my last visit was short-lived and disappointing, we were 6 people trying to find an outdoor table (the outdoor heated area not the wooden benches outside). So we tried to put 2 tables together in order to make room for the 6 of us. The whole process was to move a table a few inches closer to another table and put the seats around them. As soon as we moved the table a waiter came up to us along with a bouncer and stopped us from moving the tables and told us we cannot do that and if we wanna sit, we could sit inside or at the wooden benches outside (while it was really cold that night). I explained to him the whole rationale, and it's that we want to smoke while having a drink and it's too cold to sit outside on the wooden benches and surely smoking indoors is illegal. He was really rude and proceeded to put the tables back in their original position and did not offer any other alternative. Filled with disappointment, we left and went to another place close by where we were able to the simple and logical act of putting two tables together in an outdoor heated area.

Decent pub, decent Guinness but unfortunately full of muppets that are vaping inside, so if you want your pint to taste like chemical strawberries it's for you. Pub est sympa, Guinness est sympa, mais beaucoup des cons vape a la intérieur.

Nothing to write home about, good decor but chairs aren't very comfy, it's also a bit expensive and there's all the nonsense about having to "rent" a plastic cup for 1euro rather than just being served in a glass bar as you'd expect in a bar

Been here two times and i have never payed more for a worse beer. Both times the beers tasted like they were expired/rotten. Im never coming here again when bruges and shakesbeer are right next to it.
