When we first checked in at this hotel, we were so delighted to found a hotel with a clean, comfortable room and a very welcoming receptionist Frederick. All was superb. My husband and I needed to stay another time in their hotel from the 11-14Feb 2021. As usual we were welcomed by Frederick and almost identical room was given to us. All was fine until the night of 13Feb around 11pm, someone came knocking at our door. At first we didn't answer the door. 5 mins later he came back knocking and I asked who he was. No response. We saw by the peephole a tall, quite huge guy on his early 20's (I reckon) holding a phone pretendinh to talk to someone but we cant hear nobody on his phone. 5mins later he came knocking again for the 3rd time! I asked who is it and again no response from him. It's starting to make me feel uncomfortable but my husband said don't worry we will talk to the receptionist tomorrow when we check out. After a sleepless night, we got up and packed. We arrived at the check out counter we saw and feel the receptionist was having a bad day (well that's the feeling we are seeing from her face). We told her what happened that night and suggested to check their cctv for the security purposes. She said that the cctv wasn't working even the one on the reception area. Which I find it really weird btw. Anyway moving on we left. 30 mins later we remembered we left a well packed fresh meats inside the hotel room and we immediately called the hotel and spoke to the same receptionist. We asked if she can help us check our room as those things we left was actually for my parents in law. She simply said - it's impossible because it's the cleaners duty to report to her. Now, i don't expect everyone to be nice, but after what happend  to us which she knew btw, a little bit of sympathy and costumer recovery can come a long way.. So we decided to drove back to the hotel. We saw her (J) and her female colleague (T)  (we decided not to put their names in public) sitting at the front desk. My husband asked politely again if they can help us and same response from J that she can't do anything and has to wait for the cleaner to report back. I asked if I can come up quickly  as the room was just probably 2 mins from where we are all standing. The only reason I can think of why she said its not possible for her to check or for me to come up was because- for the security reason which I understand "IF" somehow I felt that our concerned earlier was actually handled well but not really, so for some reason I lost it (which its actually my very first time to make abit of scene like that in public), said almost same thing what my husband said to her and that's the only time her colleague acted and asked her to check in the room and in less than 5mins she came down with our things hallelujah! Imagine the time and emotions we have to invest just to get abit of costumer service from them... We've been back to bdx twice since the incident and chose to stay somewhere else. Its a shame that they have a great hotel rooms and a colleague that's doing his job really well, but with other staff member like those ladies it's only a matter of time that they'll lose another bunch of costumers in the future.

Encountered the most unpleasant and rude staff upon arrival. I had booked a room for same night, received confirmation from the hotel via email, but arrived 7 minutes after their reception closed at 21:00 and was told the reservation had been cancelled due to them not being able to process my credit card, and the door was closed in my face. I'm not sure what kind of hotel closes their reception at 9pm, but luckily for us the Holiday Inn across the street had 24 hour reception, incredibly kind staff, and we ended up with a much more pleasant stay there. Go to the Holiday Inn, and skip the hassle of this place.

It was ok. We were given a ground floor room with an entrance directly onto the car park, which may be convenient during the day but not at night. On the other hand, the cars are too close together in the car park, when we left the car was all dented.

Rooms were ok. My room was equipped with a kitchen, so that was good. Air conditioning and good blinds in the window.

Unfortunately the rooms were not up to expectation like last we stayed here in 2019. Rooms on 4th floor were smaller than lower floors we stayed in in 2019, extremely hot in hallways and rooms, aircon not sufficient. Rooms smelled like a smokers lodge and the whole hotel smelled like detergent, to such extend that breathing became very hard. Never ever again. Now at Ace hotel 3kms further down the road and this is bloody perfect

Travelling south to Spain so ideal location to stop over late arrival and leave early, no need to go into Bordeaux. Staff were great, free parking was good, not secure but seemed safe. Single bed studio 60€, max I'd want to pay so all good. Loads of places to eat nearby but check reviews first...people not happy with prices and portions.

Nice tidy practical hotel within short distance of Bordeaux city. Few local supermarkets and takeaways close to it.

i order a room with a double bed through last minute, and was given a two single. the room access was through the ground floor facing the street and doesn't feel safe. Room shower head was broken. on breakfast, you needed to boil your eggs... 10 min lost there... no fried eggs available.

I stayed in this hotel from Aug 29 to Sept 6. My experience could not be the worst experience. The room was comfortable, no problem with that. My concerns were the services. In this hotel they have suites for students. The main reason of my travel was to support my daughter in her first steps to settle in Bordeaux. She will be attending 5 years of studying (Bachelor and Masters) at Univ of Bordeaux. Then, I questioned the reception about those rooms. The lady said they were still having 3 suites available and told us the documentation. 30 min. later we returned with everything, however because we do not have french check, we could not access any rooms. Worse, ALL SUITES HAD BEEN BOOKED, means no more bedrooms available. This lady talked to the manager, who actually never came from her glass room to talk to us about it. Immediately I thought something was not right. On Sunday, another receptionist was there and I asked the same question, pretending has no knowledge about sold out suites. This attendant said they had 5 SPOTS AVAILABLE no filled out. Then I figured was something personal, maybe I could say discrimination in view of we are not French, but Canadian. At this time, I found a hotel as emergency for 1 month and after that my daughter goes to a apart hotel. Moral of the history: I left this hotel Friday and they did not charged me the breakfasts, as a consolation reward. NEVER I WILL COME BACK TO THIS PLACE AGAIN. By the way, the breakfast is costly based on the price you pay. I just want to let you guys know that I am a very high professional in Canada, ad my salary is high. I did not ask for charity or discounts, just a suite for my daughter, which I would pay without problems. If you intend to go to Bordeaux or surrounding areas, DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL! I am giving one star because the system does not accept less.

I would add one more star! We stayed for one night in 424A ( 2 adults and 2 kids). First we were impressed by check- in. Around 9 p.m. we got SMS with detailed instructions where to find a card ( as a result it was really easy to follow the instructions). We came around 11 p.m. Near the hotel was very quite and lots of parking. You feel the attention to the details in everything. The suit has a lots of space and each thing is exactly on its place. Beds are very very comfortable. There was everything for cooking + microwave. Fridge and freezer. Everything was very clean. Condition worked very well so we slept calm and peaceful. We didn't buy breakfast but we saw some guest in the dining area and their breakfast looked very attractive. I saw a bus stop right near the hotel so I think you can reach Bordeaux easierly. We definitely recommend this place and will keep it in mind for the future. Thank you!

This is a generally nice hotel. good location and relatively close to the tram. Good kitchen too, and it's relatively space-y for one person. However, if you (like me) speak very little french I wouldn't recommend it. The reception barely could explain how to get to my room in English, and did not explain how to enter from the "night enterance" (which led to me being stuck outside for a little, it wasn't pleasant). So if you don't know french I recommend you go somewhere else. They also do not clean the rooms while you're staying, and didn't provide cleaning equipment for me to do it on my own. I had to live with bread crumbs and sand on the floor because I had no idea who and where to ask for a broom (again, reception barely speaks English). Also cutlery did not appear very clean so there's that...
