Be aware that you can actually get tax return done here with Hermès, instead of going to global blue. Hermes has a better rate (16%) than global blue (about 12%). We unfortunately were received by this arrogant and condescending staff Mathias Kuhn at Hermès, who after we asked about tax refund, sent us to the long line of global blue. When we come back and ask him about this, he insisted “the choice is your”. (Yes, if you tell me about it first). What annoy me is that when I come back to ask about this, I see other staff in store diligently mention this to all their customers. After wasting time talking to him and his manager, they refund the difference, but insisted this is not their fault, there are doing something “exceptional, nice” for us. This is just unfortunate the way they think so highly of themselves.

Arrogant and ignorant staff Just checked out the store and asked for Hermès 2002 handbag. The answer from the gentleman staff was “never heard about it”, “do you mean 2424 or ...? When I showed him the official Hermès website with the PR of 2002 handbag, he said “is this from official Hermès website?” After confirmation, he still said “never heard about it”. He never bothers to go back to online catalog or anything to help. Now I begin to doubt whether this is an official Hermès boutique!

Small collection of accessories. Friendly staff - quick and resourceful

We came to this Hermes store to pick up some gifts for some customers and was helped by a kind/ tall brunette rep. She walked us through gifts for both genders and ages. I can't say how decent the service is for the other staff, but she was amazing. This store has a good collection of scarves, bracelets, clothing, belts, and children items. Going to the tax officer, which is a 1 minute walk away was also close and easy.

Came here with 5 minutes to boarding, and the sales associate was super helpful with what I wanted. She explained the duty-free process to me, and when I returned for the tax refund, she promptly did the rest of the paperwork and I was on my way to catch my flight.

Good service (about receipt tax refund)

Extremely rude and possibly racist staff who need to improve their service standard and knowledge. Went in to enquire about Santorini sandals and a bangle. A woman dismissively told me they did not have the Santorini even though I found it on the shelf later. Also asked about the Kelly bangle in yellow gold and was shown the wrong model. After a man claimed to have found the right item, I noticed that it was in rose gold not yellow gold. Am sure you will find better service from staff at the main stores rather than this sad airport store.
