I was in the fortified church with colleagues for three days. A fantastic accommodation that has been restored with incredible attention to detail. Frank, the owner, and his wife are so warm and helpful, you don't find something like that often. I have rarely felt so comfortable in accommodation. The crowning glory was that Frank cooked for us like we were in a star restaurant, at absolutely fair prices. Whether you're staying overnight or just visiting the café for a short time, a visit to the fortified church is definitely worth it!
