Beautiful canal you can go down and enjoy, there are restaurants downstairs too and upstairs lots of shops too. I was there during ithe day but at night it must be spectacular because everyone has lights

For me that was the most beautiful city in NL. No as crowded as AMS, but also big and well equipped with all kinds of entertainments. Best views.

No reason to go to Amsterdam when you can go to Utrecht. Just as nice and much less tourism.
