We should be grateful to Hendrik van Lunteren that he wanted to start a nursery on Servetstraat 216 years ago (1803). As a 23-year-old, he built the greenhouses and an orangery and installed a pump. But yes, the city center grew, there was a demand for building land, which meant that the surface area gradually became smaller. We owe the green gem at the foot of the Cathedral to a group of volunteers who worked in 2007 to preserve the then neglected courtyard. Now Flora's court is a small oasis in the hustle and bustle of the city.

At the foot of the Dom tower there is a small garden to escape the busy city. Just sit down for a moment en enjoy the view.

Flora's Hof is located in the middle of the medieval center of Utrecht, right under the Dom. An almost forgotten piece of history: The Bishop's Palace once stood here, later it became a nursery. It is now one of the most beautiful places in the city center. You reach it via the gate to the left of the bookstore. The name is also stated above the gate.

It is a pleasant corner to sit for a while and rest in the middle of your walk through the city. The main entrance is located next to the climb to the cathedral tower, on Servetstraat, although it can also be accessed from Domplein.

Lovely little garden in the centre of Utrecht. Good spot to listen to the carillon of the Dom tower (that's being renovated at the moment).

Particularly quiet spot in the heart of the center of Utrecht. There are benches where you can sit. Highly recommended to visit if you are in Utrecht.
