We had a very nice trip through the canals of Utrecht. The tour lasted an hour and there was a lot of interesting information about the various sights in German, English and Dutch. Our boat driver was very friendly and guided us well through the canals. The children also enjoyed the trip and didn't get bored. You can choose between a 1-hour or a 1.5-hour trip.

Visitors of Utrecht often forget that its canals are just as attractive as those in Amsterdam and the best way to see them is by boat. Good angles for photography as well.

We went on a 90-minute tour with a group of 10 people and were completely happy. The snacks and drinks selection were perfect. Our trip ended right in front of the restaurant for dinner which is perfect. A few impressions in the photos.

The Hollandic Water Line is honestly one of the coolest lesser-known things about The Netherlands — an entire defence system based on flooding low-lying areas. Many of the forts along the Hollandic Water Line are still intact. There are even tours, on foot and on bike, along the defence system. Some forts house cyclists and hikers overnight, and in 2010, a walkway was cut thru one of the bunkers, turning it into a publicly-accessible historic exhibit.

Fun and informative cruise with a very friendly female captain. Unfortunately, the windows of the boat had become somewhat matted (I think due to the weather and wind of recent years), making it difficult to take photos.

Five stars service - super nice and helpful staff We booked the boat for a bachelorette party. We had a few logistical challenges prior and on the day itself - and Varen in Utrecht staff were so helpful and kind to help us to find solutions. On th day itself, Max - our captain- went out of his way (quite literally, by picking up the bride by boat at a location that would be easily accessible by car). Moreover, as the bride wasn't able to get to the spot until 40 minutes later, Max at his own initiative even extended our time because the next reservation wasn't until half an hour later after our initial time was supposed to end. How incredibly kind is that? A million thanks to the lovely people of this company - would recommend them in a heartbeat.

Heerlijke dag gehad . We hadden 2 uur de tapasboot geboekt. Het was prachtig weer dus dat is al top. Het eten was heerlijk en goed vers en de boot lag netjes op tijd klaar met gekoelde drankjes aan boord. Echt een aanrader !!

We had a wonderful trip on the Utrecht canals with a very nice skipper. The tapas were delicious and there was plenty to drink. The weather was fantastic, which of course also helped. The Utrecht canals are also really worth seeing and are definitely recommended.
