A heaven for whiskey lovers. Lovely Irish bar man, very knowledge about whiskeys. Who apparently used to work at one of the best cocktail bar in Cork. Very interesting & cozy atmosphere. Whiskeys that are put on the tables are just for display purpose, not for you to pour yourselves. I don’t know anything about whiskey, but seems he is about to recommend to different guests depends on their favorite taste.

What an experience. Located at the Canals in the Center of Utrecht. Such a big variety of Whiskey’s! The service was ver kind and helpful, explaining the concept of tasting (see picture). Unfortunately we didn’t have enough time to enjoy it to the max, so we wil come back for sure.

Wwwwooooowwwww!!!!! Okay.... My wife and i are speakeasy fans. This place doesn't claim to be a speakeasy, but it kinda is if you aren't looking for turn by turn directions. It took us a while to find but in the end the reward was an experience i will never forget. Beautiful location, excellent spirit knowledge and just a little quirkiness makes for the best whisky flight i have ever had. Cheers and i will be returning soon.

My. GOD. My first visit and absolutely not my last. An absolutely wonderful staff and selection of cocktails and whiskeys. As an occasional whiskey drinker I love the L-B-A shelf system and coaching by the wait staff that makes for a wonderful experience. Top quality experience from the welcome to the warm farewell at the door. Highly recommended!!!

I visited this place with a group of five people. Everything was just perfect! The staff was very friendly. After checking our preferences they explained the tasting concept. I went for the whiskey tasting and others enjoyed the (whiskey) cocktails. The place has a good vibe and the collection is impressive.

Wonderful experience! You can drink one of the local Utrecht beers, you can order whisky tasting and enjoy it near to the historical kanal. Do you like cats? There is one - a friendly one! But the best thing about this place is the service! You don’t feel that you are a stranger visiting some random bar, you can feel like you’re just meeting friends and have a chitchat with them. The bartenders are extremely friend and will guide you through the history of the place and elaborate about the drinks you are going to taste and enjoy!

This is one of the best places I've been in ages. All I can say is, I am glad I don't live near here anymore or my entire salary would be spent here. The employees are exceptionally knowledgeable in the whiskies they offer and what to recommend based on your personal tastes. I really loved my experience here and cannot wait until my next visit.

Top tier classic and original cocktails are at the core of the malt vault experience, but not to be overshadowed is the historic and chic ambiance. We recommend the smokey and spicy "grumpy old man" but based on your predilection, the seasoned mixologists will cheerfully guide you to your ideal whiskey experience. Sip and unwind as boats pass in the night in this timeless Utrecht lounge.

They have 300 whiskey ,outstanding cocktails and an incredibly nice host who explains everything to you. They have a great snack to eat with the drink. Nice and cosy place. Tip: make a reservation before you go.

Great selection. Good cocktails. Wonderful service. You feel that the people working here have a concept and i like its a bit more love to details than in any other usual old-guy whisky bar. Cool spirit.

Went here for a whiskey tasting, really enjoyed the experience! We spoke to our bartender who explained that we could choose our own whiskies to try, or she could choose for us. We let her choose, as we wanted to try something new. We were not disappointed! Had some chocolate with the tasting. Highly recommended.

It's one of the best whisky bars I've been to. They specialise in whiskies by independent bottlers. Their bar snacks are great too.

Absolutely a secret hidden gem in Utrecht. It is one of the best bar in Utrecht without a doubt. I would highly suggest to make a reservation because everytime I go there its absolutely packed.

Where to start! Everything about this place was awesome, the service, the whiskey and the food. We loved the fact they brought the bottles of what we were drinking to the table so we could read the labels...

An amazingly friendly host displaying both his knowledge and passion for the best whiskeys. He personally knows all of the whiskeys they have for sale, which is an impressive feat, considering the amount of different kinds of whiskeys they have for sale. If you like whiskey and are not afraid to put some money down for it, this is most definitely one of the places you -must- visit during a stay in or around Utrecht.

Can highly recommend, great staff, lots of choice, good ambiance and fairly priced.

Really good place for a drink! It doesn’t get as busy as other places nearby because it’s quite hidden away by the canal. The bartender knows his stuff so it’s a great fit if your a whiskey novice or an expert. They have their whiskeys sorted by price and by taste and also do nibbles.

If you’re a whiskey lover, this bar is heaven! Wide arrangement of all kinds of whiskey. Staff is well dressed and really helpful and nice. We’re coming back very soon! If I can give one tip: make the cocktails a bit fancier. We had 5 different cocktails all in the same glass and only one had lemon and some herbs as garnish! This 5 star bar needs 5 star cocktails as well.

We did a whisky tasting here. It was an awesome experience. The staff has the perfect mix of professionalism and being approachable for some small talk. They were charismatic, had a lot of humor and were funny in just the right way. It's hard to explain with words but we were just very impressed with the staff. They were all very knowledgable, they refilled the free water bottles constantly and had so much attention for detail. The service was really a 10 out of 10. The whisky we had was also great, they made an excellent selection for us. The location is also amazing, really cool atmosphere and interior design. Even though the whisky and location were awesome, the staff really stole the show. They made the experience very memorable. Will definitely visit again when we have the chance. I can't comment on the vegan food options in this case since we didn't look at the food menu and didn't order any food. We will ask if they have some vegan snacks the next time we visit :-)

This was my first but surely not my last time. We had a whiskey tasting. Very friendly service and with very good whiskey knowledge. Perfect ambiance... We had a perfect evening.

Highly recommend this place! Great atmosphere and some of the best drinks you will find in town (ask the bartenders for tips as they know their liquor!) Also loving the beautiful box with tampons they provide in their bathrooms! I feel so welcome here!!
