The place is super relaxed, and since the first visit, we keep coming back for the mixed grill. It’s fresh and generous and sooo yummy! The service is always on point, whether we booked or walked in. In all occasions Paula and team have always been super attentive.

Very nice restaurant with a great location of a walking distance of Rijkmuseum, Van gogh museum and others. All the dishes were tasty. I really like the cod fillet though it was slightly bland but overall i am very satisfied. The food portion here is rather big. Be careful for over ordering. The service is great also. I would recommend this restaurant, as well as go back again.

Excellent meal on Saturday evening and some of the best seafood I have eaten here in the Netherlands. Wonderfully fresh, beautifully soft and cooked to perfection. We had the mixed grill with pudding - lemon meringue cake and chocolate mouse. We will return and try the soups as they looked delicious, and maybe even a lobster... We were seated near the back beside the open plan kitchen and could watch all the chefs at work in this fabulously efficient outfit. Centrally located so perfect for food before a concert or the theatre. Fab wine list, including by the glass, was the icing on the cake. Highly recommended.

Happy hour oysters are from 3-5 pm. Each oyster is 1€ (but smaller oyster). Very clean and good service. Combinations have the best value.

That’s a fantastic spot for seafood lovers! We are there two times in a row, and it was really great! Our waitress Paula was super attentive even with full house. Today (Saturday) we also got some live jazz music… and do not forget the oysters Happy Hour 15-17 EVERY DAY!!!

The waitress was racist. We ordered big plates and drinks. We neither talk loudly nor cause any other trouble. However, first, the waitress watched us contemptuously from a distance for a long while, which made me feel uncomfortable. Second, she also talked to us in a very impatient way. Third and worst of all, she forced us to pay tips by just showing the tips screen on the paying machine! Who would pay tips for such a bad service? The food was just ok. The bad service made the whole experience unforgettable in a dissatisfying way. I had no clue we should be treated in this way? Just because we look obviously not locals?

As soon as o arrived, waiter called me by the name, with a smile, and led me by the reserved table. I did not have to say a word, he recognized us and made his best to make our special occasion truely special. Other waiters were extremely nice, and fast. Food came also quick and it was very good, interesting menu with many options for sea food lovers. I recommend this place, price is followed by the derserved quality in dishes and service.

Great place to meet friends or take your parents for a huge seafood platter 😁 the seafood itself was really fresh and tasty. We had the cold and the warm platter and some fries on the side. Service was almost un-Dutch, it was so nice! It is on the pricier side tho.

Beautiful place that sells a bit pricey but fresh and delicious seafood would be one good description. Lets start from the booking and seating arrangements. Booking via online/call was easy. When we arrive there, the frontman and this guy called Paul helped us with the seat arrangements so all 10 of us can sit together. So that first gesture totally help them score 5/5. During the dinner, all the waiters and waitresses did a great job and responsive, polite, and not so Dutch as one other reviewer mentioned. So, definitely good service. Beautiful place, clean, you can also see the fishes, lobsters are mostly fresh. It was pretty gezellig place! Deserve 5 stars for it. Now the food. To be very honest, it was 4 at best. With the price, you should get something better. It was fresh for some of the cold seafood and the grills. But it wasn’t spectacular. We tried the octopus, it was pretty nice voorgerecht! Seafood platter grill was also great. But they should have put the cracker tools since the beginning. My least favorite was the cold crab.

The food was amazing. We were not familiar with everything on the menu and the waiter took his time to bring us a sample on the house. Sam was very friendly, open & fun. He made our experience one worth coming back for. The atmosphere was amazing and the food as well. Highly recommend

Seems to be the only seafood restaurant in the region. We went there many times already. I wish they would have even bigger selection of seafood. We tired the fresh plateau last time, it’s ok. Some times not everything is fresh, you could just see it, and I assume the chef knows it too. Some of the mantis shrimps were sick, they shouldn’t be put on the plate. I pointed out to the waitress, she said ja, that’s normal, it happens. No, it’s not. If someone doesn’t have strong stomach, they could get sick from it. Or at least say sorry, and ask if they should replace it. The oysters are very nice, I ordered two plates, she mistaken it by 2 pieces, and had to wait long for it to be served. The desserts are very nice, and we enjoyed the wine too.

Fresh and delicious seafood! Prices are reasonable and service was excellent. 60€-75€ per person is about average for a great dinner. The place gets busy for dinner so make reservations early.

I went to the seafood bar when I visited Utrecht. I ordered oysters and had a couple of white wine. The interior is very well decorated in a mediterranean style, and the bar was really pretty and well set up. Initially I was not very impressed with the service as I had to prompt the waitress a couple of times before she brought us the menu but the service was much improved after. I would recommend it for a light lunch or a date at night time. The prices are quite reasonable, I would say around €40 per person if you order a couple of wine glasses.

Great meal. Don't be put off because this is in a station! Huge range of seafood, excellent wine list. High quality dining, fruit de la mer was spot on. Big restaurant, so don't expect an intimate ambience, but very much enjoyed our meal and would recommend. Thank you! 🙏

We went to celebrate my birthday on the 25th of October to the Seafood Bar in Utrecht and the whole experience was amazing. The food is an absolute top notch. We tried the mixed grill for 2 persons with half a lobster with white wine and nothing to complain, everything was made to perfection. The staff was super friendly and the guy at the bar went extra to take our pics. A place worth visiting for sure.

I walk in alone without reservation, the guy who served me is quite hospitality, and let me chose the seat that I want to sat. After ordering the meal, the bread with butter is served, then the drink came in minutes. The tonic water with grapefruit tasted a bit bitter but with fresh, I loved it. The mixed grilled seafood meal tasted so great: the shrimps and fish grilled just perfectly, with tomato sauce, yummy~ Remember, eat it as soon as possible. All in all, the experience of visiting is excellent, and I think that I would walk in and enjoy the tasty meal and atmosphere it brings me again.

Great place when you love seafood, i tried the grill set menu, sooooo good. The place is next to the Utrecht central station, host are friendly, the price is worth the menu. Totally recommended and will come again to try the other menu.
