Such a hidden gem with great cocktails and bar bites. The bartenders are very skilled and have always made a cocktail that suited my flavour profile. They have also re-introduced me liquors I thought I didn’t like. Also, I really like their food here. Small list but prepared extremely well. The chicken, calamari and sweet potato fries were great accompaniments to our drinks. Highly recommend trying the chicken. Also be sure to reserve a place, especially on a Friday evening.

Probably the most popular cocktail bar in town. And yes, the best that I’ve discovered so far in Utrecht. But it’s always so packed, and it takes for ever to get a drink. The cocktail menu is not as extensive as I thought it would be, so I ordered a surprise mix just to try.

Great cocktails, what a difference to a few years ago. Attentive, friendly and welcoming staff. Nice menu with classic and special cocktails. We tried both menu and off menu items and were impressed with everything. Will definitely be back with friends. I'd recommend booking a table if you're going later in the evening.

I'll start with the service, the bartenders are very very professional and help you and guide you through the cocktails journey you want to have. The one cocktail that was new and interesting was The Cure and The Cause which has infused scotch and syrup made by Mr FINCH, so definitely try this one. They also have fingerfood which was great aaaand there are options for vegetarians. Totally a fine drinking venue and good experience.

Overrated with overpriced drinks. Not sure why it is so highly rated on google but you will understand if you have been to countries or bars that have been serving you proper drinks/cocktails. If you are just wanting to drink then there are way better options for the price and service i.e. irish pubs. If you want views then nope this is not it. This place is like a place trying to look classy with fine drinks but doesnt cut it at any level. 1. Honestly the cocktails are really low quality. If you are big on your cocktails you will understand why and they are way too pricey. Minimum is about 11 euros and up. 2. The wine and rose is just below average do not bother. 3. You will be ok with a draught beer, but even then I have never seen so much foam when the bar man was pouring drinks, atleast half was foam and if you are a beer drinker you will know. This could be due to temperature, clean beer glasses, the pouring, co2.. etc 4. Bar man forgot about our drinks and was too busy chating to the ladies about how he puts an apple in a cocktail 🤦🏻‍♂️ 5. If you looking for views, forget about it! you will be stairing at the walls of the opposite building. Hope this helps.

Cosy Tiki bar with a great variety of cocktails, tasty snacks and good customer service.

We had a super evening here. Service, atmosphere and the cocktails are superb. Tried several cocktails on the advice of the bar staff and it was top notch every time. With the Tiki special as a big closing. I can recommend this to everyone.

Dear Mr. Finch, I expected more. Daiquiri more like a smoothie, Pisco sour with elderflower, was just a watery downer. No for real the drinks were quite average. The employees were attentive and kind. Prices are decent.

Great little place with a variety of cocktails to choose from. Drinks were of high quality. Would recommend to anyone who is looking to have a cocktail in Utrecht.

Delicious cocktails, and great staff

Walked in around 7:45 on a Saturday, with several tables open and available with reservations for 8:30. Asked if we could sit for just one round, and was told by the host that it would not be possible. No self respecting bar can't serve a customer a single round in a 45 minute window, and this one certainly won't be getting my business.

The drinks are absolutely tasty, atmosphere is nice and the staff is friendly. Highly recommend for a tasty cocktail and a nice savory bite.

Best cocktails in town. It's a tight little place, so don't expect a seat on a Friday or Saturday evening, but the flavors they concoct are well worth coming a bit early for.

Great location for wine and small snacks. It‘s in a small alley with many other restaurants. Great to sit and enjoy the busy view. Five stars the sweet waiters!!

I only got to try 3 drinks, I’m very determined to go back regularly to eventually try them all. Their cocktails menu is so fun and diverse! All the ones we tried were delicious. The server was a lovely person who made sure all the tables were taken care of although the place was very busy. The location was in a cute little alleyway and the venue is very pretty. Will be back!

It was the luck of the Irish that we found this great cocktail bar, and then went back a second time! Fabulous cocktails! Can't say that enough. Great staff, so friendly and super professional. Highly recommended, and we look forward to visiting again when in Utrecht.

This is a gem if you're looking for great cocktails. They have classics, signature cocktails and they don't mind making you something custom either. The staff was very attentive and happy. You can see they have passion for making your evening great with your fav cocktails. I do recommend making a reservation, place is usually very crowded.

They promise best cocktails in town and as far as I am concerned, the challenge is a tough one and the bar is high. Midnight Manhattan is quite phenomenal and pear-fect storm is a must try.

Ever time a delight ❤️ I celebrated my birthday here for the first time 2 years ago, I’m coming back every few months or so :) the vibe is so phenomenal and the drinks are great! Just about some of their olives tastes I’m not too sure hahaha

Mr. Finch is truly a cozy and comfy bar. The cocktails are made with love and precision, they are worth every penny. The virgin cocktails are tasty too ;-). Watching the bartenders making the cocktails is quite the experience too! Mr. Finch is located in Utrecht, in the beautiful city center. The personell works hard, but always with a smile on their faces and they are open everyday. It is truly one of the best bars around, I would recommend going there!

It's not an authentic Irish pub and if you ask for an Irish cider people get offended if you "are surprised for serving something else". It's not a bad place if you're looking for a bar, but as pointed out by the staff, "an apple is an apple" "so a bar is a bar"... If you are wanting real Irish pub, go for the Red one close to the mall... I honestly didn't think the cocktail was great and made up for the price. I second other reviews... If you have been to other places including the bars in front of the river you will understand why it's over rated.

If you can't make a proper old fashioned you are not a proper cocktail bar. Unfortunately service was also very poor. On top of the bad cocktail it was also crazy expensive for what it is. Do yourself a favour and when in Utrecht go somewhere for a beer not cocktails.
