Nice museum to take a look and listen to the stories. Isn't that big, but worth it.

After the renovation and redesign, this has become a very nice museum. The films that are shown here and there take you back to the former neighborhood with the residents from the period of great poverty and great solidarity. Well worth a visit.

Very nice museum! Learn a lot about the history of District C of Utrecht since 1900 to the 1960s. Homely furnished, with good stories via audio tour. And nostalgic film images. Friendly employees.

(Translated by Google) Very nice museum! As a newcomer to Utrecht it was nice to learn a little more about life in district C, some of Utrecht, but also in general about working-class neighborhoods. You get to know the life of the past in a fun and sometimes interactive way. Also very friendly staff. In short, a must! (Original) Heel leuk museum!

The concept of the museum is very interesting. But all the interactive elements (the "dolls" talking) were only in Dutch so it was a pity to miss whatever information they were giving.

The museum is an interesting experience, it is not like most normal once. You can "pay" coins to the people inside with coins you get there. They will tell their story or some other story. The are also some films to watch if you want, there you get to hear a ok the history of Utrecht. It's fun to go to, so take a look.

(Translated by Google) Super nice museum! Slightly cuddly but that also makes it very strong! Relive nostalgia and enjoy wandering around in other people's memories. Super handsome what they know how to box professionally for each other with few paid employees and many volunteers! (Original) Superleuk museum!

(Translated by Google) Fun and educational museum, shows how people used to live. Above also a beautiful model of Utrecht, interactive with a small search. The museum is located in a former school building, which makes it even more special.

Even though the written introductions had English as well, most videos and audios were in Dutch. The dolls were rather scary if you are not expecting it at all. Managed by lovely people.

(Translated by Google) A somewhat underrated museum, where the history of Utrecht's working-class neighborhoods is well told in word and writing, especially Wijk C. Also a digital film about the origins of the city of Utrecht. On the top floor an interesting film about the housing of the difficult to adapt.

(Translated by Google) Friendly and helpful employees. The nice thing about this museum is that it is not too big and is in the center, so it can be combined well with a day of city / shopping. Fun to learn more from working-class neighborhoods. Getting to know new objects again. Some things a bit long (eg 20 min. Film) May be shortened as far as I am concerned.

The entrance fee is slightly pricey compared to other museums in Europe, but given the circumstances it's worth a visit if you're in the area. Just to manage expectations, please note not all exhibitions come with English translation. My partner is Dutch and she was kind to interpret / translate for me. It wasn't too busy on a Sunday morning, we spent about 1.5 hours here.
