We were here with our dog and were very excited about the dog beach. The path to the beach is also very beautiful and invites you to take a longer walk. There weren't that many dogs on the beach itself, just a few. There are still people lying on their towels and sunbathing here.

Beautiful surroundings, beautiful dune belt as protection against the sea. The management techniques allow the original dune fauna and flora to revive. Here in the dunes you can also visit a well-preserved part of the Atlantic Wall.

Dutch dunes landscape Always beautiful. Let's enjoy it and enjoy the view for as long as we can. Before we have to dive down for the inspection. Enough of the moralizing black painting. It was nice and relaxing there. Whether it's cloudy, a little rainy or in the blazing sun, whether there's no wind (almost never) or with 8 Bf, it's always worth a trip. Come take a look and see for yourself.

Peaceful dunes behind a small forest. It was so nice to walk barefoot in the sand and bring the dog along.

For many kilometers there is only a bike path, wind, thickets and sea buckthorn. It’s interesting at first, but then it becomes a bit boring, perhaps the cloudy day affected the impressions. There is an opportunity to climb the dune and see the beaches where windsurfers conquer the elements. I don't know the infrastructure of the beaches, but you won't be able to buy yourself a drink on the bike path. There are benches along the way to rest.

The beach in Noordwijk, which National Geographic magazine included among the ten most beautiful beaches in the world (so it was only the tenth, but that doesn't sound so good, doesn't it? 😁) is an amazing place with unconventional sand dunes as far as the eye can see, where a giant beach is created after low tide covered with lots of small lagoons and millions of seashells. The bonus of swimming in the North Sea was a real experience. So… refreshing! 😁

This area is suitable for picnics, mountain hiking, swimming, and cycling. The undulating terrain is not very high. There are many paths designed for walking and cycling. Very suitable for weekend activities. In the middle of the path there are cool forests, with ideal seats to rest. Note, bring plenty of drinking water because it's close to the sea so there's a lot of wind, combined with the hot sun, it's easy to get dehydrated.

(Translated by Google) Beautiful nature area north of Noordwijk (or south of Zandvoort) with bicycle, equestrian and hiking trails. We recommend the many vantage points in this area (see google maps). There are also dozens of bunkers from WWII in the area, one of which can be visited as a museum. The mountain bike route is also recommended for the sporty cyclist. Not too long at 7.5 km, but in beautiful surroundings.
