We came here and we got greeted instantly. We sat down and they made place for us mixed tables and everything was ready. Everything was perfect, the rice was good and not oily, the chicken tika was good served with fasulya it was great. They serve naan and something with cucumbers and hummus all for free as a starter. In the end tea was also served for free. The feta salad was delicious the tapula was sour and perfectly mixed. All in all it was good, good middle eastern culture and easy accessible in Amsterdam.

A lovely place with a welcoming atmosphere and staff. Having tried many Iraqi restaurants back home, you'll develop a basic expectation of your usual menu. However, I was quite surprised to see a quarter of usual size of food, in broken plates! The Brynani had raw broad beans and very little chicken. I understand the cost of food and raw ingredients has risen, nevertheless, this doesn't mean you'll need to cut the food portion and let customer to leave hungry. After complaining to the owner, lady was kindly offering to bring more food, but we had no time to spare as we had to head to the road towards London. Hopefully they'll do better after this constructive feedback, if we come by again.

Such delicious Iraqi food 🤤 Not too salty, not too fatty/greasy. Simply PERFECT taste! 👌🏻 The nan is fresh out of the oven! And they served us some side dishes/dips with the nan without any charge right after we made the order 🤩 The only thing, is that the restaurant was kinda cold as there was a draft and the food wasn't very hot. I hope you improve those things 😊

Cheap and cheerful. Kebabs are delicious and flame grilled. Veggie options too. They are very generous with additional bread. Staff are friendly and fast. Large portions and happy to help you wrap leftovers for home too avoid waste. Drinks list is mostly non-alcoholic but they have basic wine and beer which are prey acceptable. A really good place for a few friends. Good crowd pleaser.

What an amazing restaurant. Friendly service and delicious and healthy food. The mezze is my recommendation. It's scrumptious and irrisistable and keeps you eating BUT it's healthy (and mostly vegan!). The price quality balance here is very good which makes you come back often without a bad feeling. Very enjoyable, will come again often! This seems like a real hidden pearl to me.

Wow was that good. Huge servings of delicious meats and rice. And great dips. Quick service and for how much food you get it was so cheap! A great spot for a hearty and tasty meal.

Delicious food and well prepared. Excellent Iraqi food and friendly service. Hummus and all mezza are delicious. We took Guzi and mixed grill and I felt happy after them. The meat taste was amazing. Moreover, Bamiya (Okra) is something else 🥰😍🤤 its taste is real Iraqi. Also, their tea is especial 👍🏻. Off course I will visit it again.

Nice restaurant,very polite and cooperative workers ,delicious food,fast serving,little crowded... Place is beautiful but we felt little hot there although they have portable fans to overcome this situation..they serve different types of eastern food,iraqi meals,iraqi bread.. We tasted the iraqi tea there as it is!! I recommend this restaurant for all,specially for people looking for halal food..

I loved it the kabab were delicious also the white beans with rice , the tabolla and the hummas i also had a refreshing beverage lemonade with mint which is so tasty .

The best restaurant in Amsterdam and the best value for money. I have missed that feeling of a really good meal. And the hostess was really nice and patient to orient around the menu. I just discovered my favorite place in Amsterdam and if you don't tip in general please do here, it's really worth the experience and the effort put in their hard work. Thanks a lot

Delicious food. Also they have a Persian style kebab which is great. They offered us a free baba-ghanoush as well, it was sweet!

Amazing food, friendly staff

We had the mixed grill / mezze for two. Charcoal grilled kebabs and chunks of lamb, plenty of dips, two wonderful breads, chips, rice, salad... Very reasonable prices, great food, lovely friendly service. Now one of my favourite places! *edit* I can also confirm the doggy bag we took home, since portions are very generous, was just as nice the next day!

After coming here for quite some time and being one of my favorite spots in east..the last orders unfortunately were not to great. Salad was not fresh, bread was old and dry and the wraps were served cold. I know it can be very busy in this restaurant, so once or twice is forgiven. But this has been the case for quite some visits now, disappointing and hopefully it will be better in the future.

I don't know who was crazy miserable not to recommend this place, but it has 20 stars out if 5 from me. Insane food, incredible service, everything is well measured and if this restaurant was somewhere else we would have to quque for hours for this quality. Go untill it becomes crazy popular.

Ambience 4/5 Cleanliness/hygiene 4/5 Service 3/5 Staff was a bit serious, no greeting, forgot to give plates, cutlery after bringing food, was not able to guide on the menu. Food 3/5. Nothing bad but nothing stood out too in terms of flavor, taste or uniqueness. Both mezze and mains. Excellent lavash though. Homemade ayran too sour to our liking.

Authentic Iraqi cuisine, was Excellent and delicious

The personnel were nice. We ordered mixed grill for two persons. The appetizers were tasty and with a good variety. The freshly baked bread was great! With regard to the grill, it was not at the same level. The lamb chops were quite dry, not tender, strangely cut, and overcooked. The lamb skewer was better but not that great, also a bit overcooked and not very tender. The chicken skewer, chicken wings, and the kebab (minced meat) skewers were good.

Food is good and cheap for what you get (quite a lot). Service needs to improve as they were not able to prioritize how to serve (normally in order of arrival). Have to say we went on a Saturday evening and it was quite busy

Food was great. Fast service even when it was full. Staff are very welcoming, friendly and generous!

Came here recently and was disgusted with the service. Waiter was quite disinterested and took over 15 minutes to take our order. Food took absolutely ages, then I was given RAW chicken wings and my partner's lamb was pink inside. We told the staff who took it away with an 'er' and given back the same food, now singed on the outside and still a little raw inside, within 5 minutes. No apology at all so we swiftly left. Note that after all this time, our drinks had never shown up. Avoid at all costs
