👍👍 We wanted to learn more about the city and its history so we booked the tour. Gerben was great! He was telling stories about the past in a funny and engaging way so it was really fun to follow along. He was really knowledgable and we had the best time! Since we are three people and we all loved it,... People often mention tour, Utrecht, guide, recommend, great, city, history, good, stories, Gerben,

Bart was both engaging and entertaining. He is enthusiastic about his city, and surprised us with popsicles on a very warm day. I definitely recommend this tour because it opened up the city with not just the history but also the present.

My first visit to both the Netherlands and Utrecht, and although I had wandered around exploring the city for a week, and I had seen a number of beautiful and intriguing places and objects, I finally began to understand what I had been seeing after taking the marvelous walking tour with Wessel. As a native Utrechter (and beyond 60, as I am), he has both a deep love for and knowledge of his city. I wish I had taken his tour the first day I arrived and every day thereafter. Everything I learned from him only made me want to know more. I can't recommend this tour, and especially Wessel, highly enough. They are both superb.

My friends and I want to thank Gerben for such a great tour last weekend. We loved his enthusiasm and all the stories he told us! And he was really good at answering our questions, highly recommend! He definitely passed on his appreciation for the brilliant place that Utrecht is, and his recommendations were also so good! Thank you!!

Tim was a great great guide, apart from knowing a lot about the history of the city and being able to answer every single question we asked, he recommended many places and streets to visit while in Utrecht. You can tell he's a real local and that he likes his city very much. A really great tour with an even greater guide!

A fantastic couple of hours spent with Professor Geoffrey. He brought the tour to life with his funny and charming stories and fun facts. We definitely saw places we would not have known about like the flower market. His knowledge and passion shone through. Thankyou !

We were honoured to be part of our tour guide Bart's first official tour. It did not feel like his first tour at all as he was able to share history and information about Utrecht so freely and also took care of everyone so well. Many thanks for the super fun walk!

My family and I had a fantastic time at the guided tour of Utrecht centre today! Gerben is truly an experienced tour guide who is not only brimming with knowledge but also a great sense of humour and the ability to tailor information to the individuality of each group. His English is excellent and he even had a few visual aids such as a map to illustrate some of the details he covered. Over two hours, we explored many parts of the centre, including well-known tourist attractions like the Dom Tower but also quirkier, lesser-known spots which even locals don't always know about! In terms of accessibility, this tour is not particularly intense, but does cover some pebbled streets which are slightly uneven and there are some stairs. Gerben was also very happy to answer questions throughout the tour and really facilitated conversation between everyone in the group. I wholeheartedly recommend this experience to tourists and locals alike!

We had a blast with Gerben's tour last week. He showed us many cool corners that you'd not normally notice and explained background stories about the city vividly. I can highly recommend the tour!

I love that this tour is available to everyone and is a source of so much Dutch and Utrecht history! I highly recommend to all tourists and even locals! It wasn't too much walking so children would even enjoy the sights. Gerben was such an enthusiastic and fun tour guide! I'm looking forward to the walking tours when I have a chance to visit the other cities!

Even for locals a real treasure! We wanted to enrich our day trip with great stories we did not know and Merilyn did not disappoint. The stories were all uniquely told and the whole tour was great. Good duration, good place of walking for young and old. I would do this again for more stories if there are.

Even though i lived in Utrecht for 2 years already i signed up for the tour and learned a lot of interesting facts about buildings and the history. Sam did a great job and i can only recommend it to anyone who stays in Utrecht or just has 2 hours.

We had an amazing experience with Wessel! Our tour guide. He explained all with so much passion and had so much knowledge about Utrecht. But explained also extra details what made its so special. When you go to Utrecht and have 2.5 hours left I would highly recommend Wessel as your tour guide.

It's a good tour to get a quick view of the city. Lots of good information. The walking wasnt boring at all. The guide is was very knowledgeable. Really glad I did it. I can see most negative reviews are because of no shows. The only issue was that at times there were moments when we moved too quickly. Didn't get good enough opportunities for photos. Apart from that, I'll still recommend.

George (?) Was an excellent tour guide. High energy, good humor and knowledge. Also freely admitted when he didn't know the answer. Good pace and besides 1 staircase down to the canals, very accessible

This was such a great tour! I learned a lot and enjoyed seeing so many beautiful spots in Utrecht. My tour guide, Judith, was phenomenal!

Recently had a tour organised by them and it was a remarkable experience. The guide Judith explained the details about each monument giving us insight on the city's history. She also answered our questions and was very engaging. Thank you Judith for this experience. Would recommend this I'd you're willing to get a tour of Utrecht.

What a fun and informative host Jeffrey was! The tour is very interesting and his delivery made it even more fun and engaging. What a pleasure it was learning about Utrecht not only from a local but an expert storyteller.

I had a amazing time at the guided tour of Utrecht centre today! Bart is very an experienced guide who has good knowledge and also a great sense of humour .He also got free ice creams for everyone after 1 hour of tour as it was sunny day . It was so nice of him and also showed how much he cares about tourist . Tour took around two hours and included places like the Dom Tower , university and many other lesser-known places. I would definitely recommend this tour with Bart..!!

Jeffrey was an amaaaaaazing tour guide! I've done several of these free walking tours in multiple cities and what's always best is how the guides are locals, so they know the smaller bits of interesting history of the cities. Jeffrey mentioned that he's not the usual guide, however, the woman who usually does the tours is amazing as well. Highly suggest!

Don't miss a great tour in Utrecht with a local guide! We had a lot of fun joining Marianne Checkley-de Munck during our city tour! She is a talented guide and passionate about Utrecht HIStory and HERstory ;) Although i have visited Utrecht before but i find the tour offered by the locals such a great opportunity to travel in time and learn some 'Utrechts' tips and tricks! I definitely recommend it.

Had a wonderful day exploring Utrecht with Lucas. While the tour was free, the level of information, engagement and entertainment was that of any other tour group. Lucas was knowledgeable and interacted with all of the guests. I enjoyed meeting the others who joined from different countries - Italy, Germany, France and the U.S. Highly recommend.

This tour was one of the best things I could do in Utrecht. It will give you much more than just checking 10 best Utrecht spots that is offered by every tourist website. I joined a group led by Judith, we walked for around 2 hours and talked about history, interesting people, architecture and life in Utrecht. I recommend it to everybody!
