This picture should tell you how good the food here is. My girlfriend is Syrian and from what I understand Sha'aam provides a truly authentic Syrian experience. From the wholesome comfort food, to the little fountain in the middle, the distinct cloths on the sofas, the cute placemats, and the warm hospitality. Marwa is an excellent host and I loved every single bite of our meal. Had I been Syrian, I can imagine myself having an Anton Ego moment ♥️ Highly recommended and definitely worth the 200+ km trip!

Our vist was very pleasant! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming and the food was delicious. It was our first time but certainly not last time trying Syrian cuisine. We especially liked warak enab and ouzi!

Could have asked if we wanted drinks a second time. Otherwise 5/5. Food was amazing. Only halal place in town i think..

I really loved it. My first time with Syrian cuisine and I had very good experience. I specially enjoyed Mutabal and Linzensoup. Home style tasty food, all very variable and very characteristic. I am happy we could try and we even took some food to eat back home. However we came home so full, that we ate it for breakfast the next day. Still super tasty! Highly recommend!

Incredibly delicious! Fresh, tasty and beautiful location. The owners are super friendly and it was a lovely evening. We had a meat dish with rice, stuffed eggplant, fresh mint tea and arab coffee. We really wanted to try the desserts, they looked amazing and the people at the other table ordered three desserts and were talking about the amazing quality, but we were too full ;-)

Warm and friendly service. Food is delicious and made with love and care. We had mutabal and kibbeh for starters and then the freekeh (lamb) as main. Definitely worth a visit!

Extremely friendly service. Authentic food, absolutely delicious. Starters were amazing; fresh and tasty. Main course has soft flavors, vegetables are cooked softly, spices are not hot but add flavor to the food very nicely. Desert is delicious. Authentic decor inside the restaurant. Highly recommended!

The prices are really expensive compared with the food amount I bought dishes for 50 euro and the food was really not even enough for 2 people, This kind of restaurant needs to be more generous with the costumers always given them extra food in order to come But for me this is the last time I will never come back again There is no good generosity in this restaurant I recommend to be more generous with the clients in order to come again

Everything was excellent. Falafel and fresh mint tea. Perfect for a cold December night. They are open until 10 pm. Mastercard and visa are not accepted. Need cash or debit card.

We stopped by on a Saturday evening when the place was totally booked. The smell was enough to be worth trying again for Sunday lunch, and we were not disappointed! The main dishes were generous and delicious, but I was most impressed by the desserts. Light, crispy, and just the right amount of sweetness! The place was wonderfully decorated and the owner very kind and welcoming.

A very cozy and welcoming atmosphere, and the staff was very friendly. The order was quickly prepared, and the portions were quite as expected. A very positive experience. I'd just like to see more diverse options added to the menu.

I went to Valkenburg just to try your food. Great "homemade" food. Real authentic Syrian dishes with excellent service and very good prices. Thank you for a great night!
