Big disappointment! Houses are new and clean, but the pillows are kind of handmade filled bags. The swimming pool is very small, there are no shoe rugs and people going with dirty shoes almost to the pool. No security, no monitoring. Water is freezing. And the restaurant - yesss, surprise! Big title Michelinsterren restaurant RantrΓ©e - Dormio Resorts & Hotels. We ordered 4 dishes and non of them was eatable. Something like plastic after microwave. So 90E for 1 beer. And nothing to buy in the shop. We don't recommend it at all!

We stayed in August 2023 visiting from Canada. The concept of a family style resort was what appealed to us. The rooms were clean, new and modern with full kitchens. We especially loved the terrace suite where we stayed with a seating area and BBQ. The resort reminded us of condo type hotels we have here in Canada. We would suggest a few minor changes to make the resort even better such as hair dryers, more toilet paper and tissue available in the bathrooms, a ledge in the showers for your shampoo and soap, and hand soap for the bathroom and kitchen sinks.

Accommodation is far from clean, there is dust in every corner (and in the lights hanging above the table you normally would eat). Having a warmed terrasse , eating outside seemed acceptable, however, speaking at 8 PM is apparently not allowed by the most unfriendly guard of the complex. To conclude, 2 out of the 6 chairs in the apartment are not suited for sitting as they are ruined and we found the fire detector disconnected on a table in the living room. We are a rather easy public but we are definitely not coming back.

Pros: The apartment was quite nice, a corner property with lovely outdoor area and pretty private. The bathroom and bathtub were really nice. There was an indoor pool just outside our apartment door but we didn't know that, so weren't prepared with swimmers. The gentleman who checked us in at the front desk was excellent. Cons: Maybe we didn't realize the type of place we were booking, but it would have been helpful to know that when you book an "apartment", that means no housekeeping, one roll of toilet paper for your entire stay, and also no air conditioning (although there's a mysterious control for "air" that doesn't seem to do anything). If you want additional towels, you'd have to pay for them. The bed was comfortable but was just two single beds pushed together, so if you're a couple, be prepared to fall into the crack several times a night. Also there is only one pillow for each person. There is a restaurant on site, but when we attempted to get a table at 6:45pm, we were told we couldn't have one because "the kitchen closes at 8". When we pointed out that it was nowhere near 8, the waiter said "Sorry, I'm the only one working tonight so no more customers." We were only 2 people, but I can't imagine what a couple with children would have done at that point. We just drove into Maastricht and found a nice place to eat. Ridiculous. We were staying in the area to play golf (although the course on site was not very good), so it suited us just fine for that. However, we wouldn't return.

We had a five day stay at Dormio Maastricht. We stayed in one of the Penthouses. Well equipped and clean so that was a big positive. The penthouse had three big bedrooms, two bathrooms (one with bubble bath and the other with a sauna and steam shower. There was also a barbecue, terrace heater, etc. So an overall great apartment! Even with a small nu nice bathroom in the basement. This can only be used by the apartments (8 in total so really private). The park itself has a nice bakery, bike rental, swimming pool and Spa. And they have a nice kids club with a daily program to help entertain the kids. Scattered throughout the park there are different play zones. Parking is easy and it’s location close to Maastricht is a big plus. Only reason not to go for five stars would be that there is no big inside play area which you see at many other family oriented holiday parks. Oh and for the foodies; there is a Michelin starred restaurant in the hotel on the park! Enjoy!

I have been living in the resort for a month, some issues: The place is very nice, green and full of amenities, it has a very integrated architecture in the nature and it is beautiful. Unfortunately, it is a great pity that the level of cleanliness of the house was minimal, very improvable. I reported this issue after my arrival with no reply to the mail. The restaurant is very nice, the service is sometimes really slow (45 minutes waiting for the first course), and despite being there for so long, if you go to the restaurant without a reservation it is difficult to be served, even on rainy days and with a 2 year old child, when you just need to eat something and not enjoy a big feast. Towel changes are charged separately, also a surprise, as a general rule when you pay for accommodation changes are already included when it is long term. La calidad del wifi en la casa muy limitada, poca velocidad. Con muy pocos detalles, se podrΓa mejorar. Una experiencia agridulce.

The facilities were nice, but the service is hideous. There is no proper cleaning service. Our toilet had yellow and brown stains, there was hair and dust in the corners and under the beds/sofas/carpets, we even found a pair of socks from previous guests... The most annoying is that when we let the reception know (with pictures of all this), they simply responded "oh we'll let the cleaning service know and we will send them again", but nobody came to clean. We used the online service to share again our experience and they shorty replied that they'll look into that. Very unfortunate to consider this a luxury resort.

First of all, they should stop calling themselves luxury resorts. Except for golf course they have no other amenities. Their wellness villas are jokes. We stayed there for almost a month because we could not find an apartment when we moved to Maastricht. The road going in the back of the villas means you cannot use the backyard unless you want to feel like an animal in a zoo. The road gets tons of foot traffic and everyone and I am not exaggerating, everyone will look at you. It doesn't matter if you are eating or in a hot tub. No privacy whatsoever. Zero cleaning service provided even if you stay long. We paid around 300 euros twice during our stay for cleaning. I mean common, after paying almost 10,000 euros (you read it right not a typo), one should expect to get the villa cleaned at least once a week. Anyways, just book anywhere else.

Although the villa is good , but didnt liked it for many reasons : 1. There is no cleaning service , u have to pay for cleaning services . 2. There is no phone in villa to call eeception when required . 3. The heating system is crazy , sometime very hot , sometime didnt worked . 4. Second toilet in villa is very small 5. There is no one available even to take our luggage when we arrived. And many more such issues . Dont stay at this place.

This review is for the restaurant located inside the Dormio Resort Maastricht. Staff was very nice and polite but the food wasn't that yummy and portions were so little that didn't accommodate our appetite. Price of food was also high comparing to the restaurant of same standard.

Booked a stay for myself and my family. We paid for the cancellation insurance, which, buyer beware, is only valid for up to 14 days pre arrival. I contracted Covid and had to cancel 2 days out. When asked if I could have a credit for another date, a week later. I was told this was not possible. The online booking tool showed plenty of availability for the updated date request, yet I was told there was none. Dormio walks away with ~1900€, I get nothing. Very disappointing outcome. I DO NOT recommend doing business with the outfit. Many other reviews with users having similar experiences.

Traveled with family. Location is nice with good houses. But we missed: 1. different restaurants around, 2. choices in shop

This hotel is located outside of Maastricht. This is a quite and nice area. The rooms are quite big but they are not really clean and the mattress very uncomfortable.

We have been here before and it seems service like breakfast became less extensive. Also USB ports in the hotel rooms (we had a suite) are missing so charging my phone didn't work. Parking lot was full when we returned from dinner in Maastricht with no other option to park. All in all a mixed bag.

We were for the second time here and we really enjoyed our stay. We would definitely come again in spring .

The place was nice and clean but the fact that there was no cleaning products, no towel for cleaning or even salt and pepper was a bit upsetting. We came with a place for a weekend stay. Should we buy a bag of dishwasher tablets, dish soap and towel?

In general; it was a great place. All houses still felt very new, the place is clean (except for a few small bugs, but that comes in a package when you are in the nature). The staff was very friendly, the bakery has long opening hours and is delicious. The restaurant was so much better than I thought (biggest surprise). The swimming pool was free and decent. The only things we struggled with was the beds, they were waaaaaaay too soft. You literally sink in it and every time you try to turn during the night, you wake up due to the effort taken. It seems that all beds were like that, maybe just not our thing. Also, we basically had no WiFi, it had trouble connecting the whole weekend.

We booked their nicest villa for 4 nights. We paid over 2,500 euro for the stay. Everything was great until we walked into our villa. Thats when the trouble started. 1. On their website they say the villa is child friendly, except that there are classic steep dutch stairs with no baby gate. Not exactly child friendly. 2. They provided us with enough shampoo and body soap for 1 person for 1 night. Not what I expected for 2500 euro. No dishwasher soap, no hand soap, 4 pods of coffee, 2 sticks of sugar, no garbage bags, etc... they market themselves as a " 5 star resort hotel", yet this is an apartment for rent at best, even airbnbs offfer more. Im shocked they had utensils and plates. 3. No wifi upstairs. Seriously?? 4. They said we have a "barbecue". What they meant was a hole with a metal plate on top. No coal, no lighter, nothing to barbecue with. 5. We had to spend 300 euro!!! To stoock up the place just for 4 days as it was completley empty. Absolutely ridiculous. 6. Fireworks going off non stop. I get its christmas, but we are at a resort, they should have a strict no fireworks rule 24/7. 7. MOLD!!! We moved the curtsin in the downstairs bedroom to find the entire wall clvered in mold. Our son wa sgoing to sleep there! 8. We made a reservation through the website, and put in the notes to please give us a charger for our car. When i called to check with them, they said sorry your home doesnt have a charger, and only offered to switch us when i pushed them too. 9. I paid 2500 euro and they expect me to clean up the place before i leave, do the dishes, empty the dishwasher, take out the garbage down the road, etc.... For 2500 euro?!!?!? I could have done all this for free at home. Overall its our first night here and we are EXTREMELY unhappy. I do NOT reccomend visiting until they fix these issues.

On site shop prices are very high but you can pop to the supermarkets just down the road. Lovely area and some amazing rooms. Excellent self service.

Everything was great Rooms, facility, price, swimming pool and kids activities. The only negative point is location not close by the city and public transport

Nice little vacation village, staff are very friendly and plenty of amenities. However, I have to echo a theme of many of the recent comments; the cleaning of accommodations between guests needs considerable improvement. Friends and I stayed in their new Castellum build. Overall the apartment was nice and spacious, however, in one of the bedrooms there were obvious handprints on the wall and the door had been replaced but not painted. Furthermore, for a resort that's centred around cycling, there is a complete lack of outdoor bike parking in close proximity to accommodations.

The Resort is located on the outskirts of Maastricht. Guests have access to a small swimming pool and a kids club. The house are well equipped but could be cleaner.

Very nice Ressort with a new spa area and bath with a waterslide. When we had been there it was even possible to ski. Our apartment was okay. We didn't miss anything.

The hotel was great. Really nice room, huge bathroom, kind and helpful staff. The small square by the reception looked really nice in the evening. The restaurant had chairs outside next to the playground, so we could enjoy our evening while watching our daughter playing. The kids club offered some halloween activities for kids. There is a small bakery by the reception. The highlight was the pool: small but with a nice slide and water play area - my daughter enjoyed it a lot. Thank you! When we are in Maastricht next time we will book the same place.

The staff at the reception and the restaurant is very unhelpful and lazy. Nice rooms, however the lack of good service is overwhelming.

We stayed in the hotel. Very comfortable, clean and spacious. Air conditioning and all required catering facilities. Ideally situated for city and AndrΓ© Rieu concert.
