I'm not exaggerating, this was the absolute best lobster bisque I have EVER had! The drinks were also delicious and reasonable for the area and the atmosphere. I will definitely return. I was headed to The Eastern for a concert, and we stopped here because we were early, and most people at the bar were also headed there. It's walkable to there. Free parking in a well lit garage across the street. I will definitely return to Girl Diver for dinner. My husband had the lobster roll and he too said it was the best he's ever had. Everywhere we go, he orders an old fashioned and these didn't disappoint. Our server was friendly and professional. Restrooms were clean. I have no complaints at all.

The best thing from our meal was the key lime pie, it has a delicious marshmallow exterior. The chicken wings were tasty. The lobster roll was pretty good, but I didn’t like the fries. I thought they were over seasoned/salty. The fried beef dumplings and the shaking beef lacked flavor and the latter dish came out cold. And the beef entree doesn’t come with rice which I think is strange. But you can add it for 4$ and it’s a decent portion. This was a one and done dining experience for us.

The food was good. The artichokes were amazing with a good lemony sauce. My friend had the Brussels sprouts which were also good. The octopus was good although I was not a fan of the grits. Jacob and Dietrich were helping us although super busy, the atmosphere and vibe was really nice. I would suggest visiting as I plan to visit again.

The menu is all over the place from Asian inspired food to southern style. It was hard to decide on something because there was no consistency in the types of food. I did order a drink and couldn’t finish the t because it was incredibly strong. It was like a glass of straight tequila. I was told by the bar tender that the chicken wings were sweet and tangy. ABSOLUTELY A LIE. The chicken was SALTY!! Considering the list of ingredients it was made with it should’ve had some flavor but nope, straight salt. The other person in my party received their mahi (which was ridiculously small) 10 minutes before the rest of the food. I would not recommend this place just go elsewhere. Yes their is a credit card processing fee. Which is utterly ridiculous considering this restaurant is quite pricey. Nice decor tho.

Cute bar that I’ve been waiting to visit. Nice decor and the staff was nice! The bar felt like a cool dive bar with music and kinda grunge style of patrons. The food didnt taste good to me. The chicken wings were bloody and the skin was undercooked. The lobster box was ok. Heavy on the Mayo that balanced well with the dry rice underneath it. Overall just ok dish. The hush puppies were good! They came recommended by the server and were enjoyable. The crab cake was also good, although there was nothing Thai about the Thai crab cake. I wanted to order more food but I’m really glad I didn’t. The food really lacked flavor. I’d come back but for drinks and maybe one dish if I’m starving. Service was great though. there’s is a processing fee for purchases on top of tax, tip, and food bill.

The food and service here was great! The deck across the restaurant is free and convenient. We made a reservation for lunch and were seated immediately. We received our orders very quick and our hostess/ server was friendly and accommodating. She made some great recommendations. We ate one brunch item and 2 entrees. We ordered the scrambled egg Bahn MI which was delicious and the waffle fries that came with them were perfectly crisp. I had the beef lettuce wraps which were so flavorful and the red curry we got was some of the best in the area. I'm not sure about dinner but I would recommend this place for lunch !

I loved everything about this place. Though it was cold outside. We sat on the patio. The heat lamps didn't disappoint. Neither did the food. The brussel sprouts were amazing, and I adored the ribs, lobster rangoons with the sauce, shrimp tempura, and fried beef dumplings. The service was perfect, accommodating without being intrusive. I recommend this place for a date night, or even solo for the laidback atmosphere.

The staff are very welcome and inviting, as well as knowledgeable about the food and drink options! This place caught my attention by the name alone while I was looking for something new and exciting to eat and surpassed my expectations! I will definitely be coming back any chance that I get!

More licentious mastication... I was recommended this place by Rivers, and the food did not disappoint! I was served by Nikki who helped me order The lobster bisque and the andouillie sausage... Thank you Nikki! That was an amazing food pairing. I suggest cutting the sausage into pieces, using some bread to sop some of the bisque, and placing the sausage on top the soaked bread then eating them together!!! The experience of eating this meal was nothing short of euphoric... The atmosphere and staff of Girl Diver is warm and inviting. I would highly recommend it for a date night with that special someone or for a unique eating experience !!!

Food is normally good. However , do not order the lobster Mac and cheese. There is hardly any lobster in this dish. This is the second time this happened to me. Pictures posted below and those red pieces you see are tomatoes. The first picture is how it came and the second is me separating the dish so you can see there is nothing in there.

See my 3/10/23 update below. I really like this place’s atmosphere and setup. The bar selection was great and the server attentive. The reason I gave it three stars is the bizarre way the food came out. We ordered an app which the server left to put in. She came back within five or so minutes to take our main orders. After leaving to put those in, she came back 10 minutes later with one of the three entrees we ordered. About 10 minutes after that, she came back with the second entree. She came out with the appetizer about five minutes after that. The final entree arrived about 10 minutes later. Like I said, bizarre. That said, the food was outstanding. You can tell they’re really trying (and succeeding). Just excellent and tasty food. I loved the braised pork belly. I plan to give them another try at five stars, so hopefully they’ll work everything out. Update on 3/10/23: I went back for another try and they knocked it out of the park. The food was still excellent, the drinks were excellent, and the service was what one would expect for a nice place. I also got to sit in the speakeasy in the back, which I had no idea existed. It was just a great time. Don't miss this one!

We got the red snapper and catfish, both were good but that sauce on the red snapper is my new favorite. Prices are decent and the atmosphere is pretty fun. Dishes are mostly Asian inspired

Tried various dishes, including the salt and pepper shrimp, the dim sum sampler, the shaking beef, the brussel sprouts and the banh xeo waffles. I can usually pick a favorite, but everything was so fresh and perfectly balanced. The dishes all had a sense of umami and nothing was less than perfect. Our server was excellent and informative. The ambiance was lovely and the wall art was stunning. I would return time and time again.

Worse service ever. On September 6 I went to Girldiver. I ordered the spare ribs, boiled potatoes and a drink. Unfortunately, the ribs were too tough for me to eat. I did eat the potatoes and drank the drink. I was charged for the uneaten ribs. This next part is pretty strange - the bartender and host said that I was there before and ordered energy drinks and that I must be from the "west side". I did pay the bill and leave. I did go back and asked why was I charged for food that wasn't eaten. The host must have thought that I wanted to be comped for the entire meal which wasn't the case at all. The potatoes and drink were fine- I didn't want to pay for the ribs that I didn't eat. It is obvious that the host didn't look at my plate. He would have seen that the ribs were basically untouched. He then said that the food was "picked over" and that I ordered it. He said that they don't comp for food that was eaten. Horrible experience. I will never be back. I know I won't get a response from the restaurant. If I was the owner or manager, I would be mortified that my employees treated a paying customer so horribly and made that customer pay for something that wasn't eaten, then belittle them. There is a happy ending! I was still hungry so I went to Salt Factory Pub. Wonderful food and service. Girldiver, do better.

I’ve been here a few times for lunch which for the most part is good .The drinks are the best. Some things are great and others not so much. I had the Brussel sprouts fish and chips and dessert they were pretty good.

Chef Clevenger is awesome. We had the wings, dumplings, pork belly, and honey shrimp and all were wonderful. The Kang from the bar was quite tasty

Great girls night dinner + drinks spot! Waitress was cute and very knowledgeable about the drink and menu choices. Ordered the fried beef dumplings (not pictured), lobster bisque, fried crab rice, lobster roll with waffle fries, and crab legs. Everything was delicious! Outdoor seating was very nice while viewing the city vibes. Highly recommend

😠 DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!! Terrible service! The server cannot remember what you ordered…it cannot be that hard to write it down. Friends waited for (Hennessy) drinks…at the same table for an hour and 15min. It took the bartender 3 tries….It took over an hour to get food even with a reservation. YOU CAN...
