This place is super cool with an amazing atmosphere. There is a massive playground for the kids to entertain them for hours. The milkshakes were out of this world, and the food was very tasty. It's definitely worth the visit.

The play area is fantastc, its big and offers a great variety. The food is decent however over-priced (prawn wrap cost R130 and contained 4 prawns). The staff are friendly but the service is quite slow as they are so busy.

Returned after 3 years to find the place improved so much. Really developed nicely, have a huge children's entertainment area and plenty of seating now if you don't want to sit in your car and eat. Our waiter, Simon, was on point and attended to us perfectly. Food came hot to the table and drinks were ice cold. For mains we had the cheese burger, Ribs and wings combo and Ribs and Lamb chops combo. Have to say the meals were very tasty and have never had such tender chicken wings before. Cooked very well. Overall great experience and will be adding this to my list of regulars when in Harties. A MUST VISIT when in town! Highly recommended!

Awesome place to enjoy a day out with the family. The play area is great and my kids enjoyed it. Nice variety of games for my 5 and 8 year old to enjoy. The food was also very enjoyable and I absolutely loved the dessert menu! The service was slightly slow, but it was a busy Sunday, overall a very enjoyable experience.

Went for Sundowners on my birthday 🎂 the 9th of Jan and it was great. I loved the fact that the manager named Charlotte came & took over our table as soon our waiter got overwhelmed with other his tables. The service is marvelous and the staff is very friendly too. Oh, and the view of the sunset was breathtaking. Big ups!!!!!

Solid experience. Incredible Vibe with so much for kids to do. Very funky menu, awesome food choices that delivered on taste. Very impressed to see such a busy place keep up with awesome standards - many restaurants could take a few notes from them. One criticism would be to please allow for waiters to try stay within view. We found a lot of the time we couldn’t flag them down when we urgently needed something. Other than that he was a pleasure 🍺

If you looking for a place with a great vibe, this is it. They have a nice big screen to watch sports, variety of entertainment for the kiddies, that keeps them busy for hours. The drinks are okay. The ice cream we had was very good. I was very disappointed in my main meal. I ordered a “Loaded steak roll” for R125.00, pure rubbish. The roll used was a hot dog roll, there wasn’t any taste, an oversized tomato that’s bigger than the meat they put on there. The cheese was supposed to be melted, but my plate came cold, I don’t know how long it stood there before the waiter served us. I personally will never go back there. There’s a lot of amazing places in harties that will give you value for your money.

We had a pleasant afternoon at V8 Roadhouse, it was rather busy so we had a few minutes wait before we got seated. Our waiter was friendly and helpful. My husband ordered a Dagwood with chips, he enjoyed it. My usual at any place is a Fillet steak, with chips and creamed spinach. My spinach was ice cold - had to send it back and by the time it came back the rest of my food was done. Bit disappointed by that. My daughter had a pizza and lime milkshake which she enjoyed but her favourite part of this place will definitely be the kiddies play area. She enjoyed the big variety of things to do for her from the jumping castle, to the zip line for kids and the trampolines. Nice atmosphere for a family restaurant, enjoyed the music. Bathroom are busy but very clean. Overall we had a good experience.

Stunning place especially for kids, the play area is huge and offers a variety of fun activities. The food came in big portions, fresh and delicious - the price was also affordable. There is plenty of seating inside and outside which gives you a comfortable dining experience. I was really impressed by the size of the entire establishment as the outside looks quite quaint when driving pass. Overall, a lovely experience and atmosphere. Definitely recommended!

The restaurant is great with a wonderful atmosphere, there is a large play area for the little ones. Although busy- I felt like we were "forgotten" by the waiter. So if you are planning to go to V8 Roadhouse don't expect the best service. Some of the tables around us got their food before us although they were seated after us. Unfortunately this was my first visit here and I don't think that I would dine here any time soon. Our order was a burger and toasted sandwich.

We visited on father's day and the restaurant was very busy. Great atmosphere and our waiter was friendly and helpful. We were warned that due to them being so busy, we might wait up to 30 minutes for our food. We ended up waiting just under 2 hours for our meals. Taking into consideration the long wait and higher than average prices on the food, out food was just average and not exceptional. The restaurant is definitely worth a visit, but go early and don't be in a hurry.

Simply wonderful. Service was great tho limited offering with beer. Food was excellent and good value. Great play area for the kids with two zip lines for the more adventurous. Great retro feel with drive thru American Roadhouse feel. The upper floor offers a great view of the Harteebeesport Dam. Well worth another visit and best of all just under an hours drive from Randburg.
