I've only been here once and it was mediocre. It was pretty empty when I got there but for some reason the server changed my table three times before she found which one she wanted to put me at. They were very polite though and fast with the service and the food was pretty good. One thing I really did not like though with that the tables were extremely wobbly and they were connected to the tables on the other side of the barrier. The entire time I had a couple on the other side of the barrier who kept slamming their hands on the table and knocking against the table and causing it to shake badly which then in turn caused my table to shake the entire time I was attempting to eat. Also I noticed that they have a buffet on the weekends until 2 p.m. and I got there at about 3 p.m. so I assumed it was over but apparently it wasn't and they failed to mention or offer it to me which was a major disappointment because that could have been a much better deal. Overall it's a general Big Boy.

Food was average at best. Skip the soup and salad bar. It isn't worth it. I had the hot turkey dinner and honestly couldn't tell it was turkey. Service was fast and employees were efficient and friendly.

Only pic I got, but paid $40 for a big boy burger with fries, a chicken Caesar salad and a chocolate malt. The malt was complete liquid and look at the amount of fries received. NOTHING looked appetizing. I did get my money back but the manager didn't seem to care and even said "that's the only size fries we have" and "I don't make the prices" yeah, never going there again.

I’ve been coming here for years and sadly this place has gone down hill. This used to be the Sunday brunch spot with my grandma and back then it was a very cute and clean place. Now, It’s visibly dirty, everywhere. Trash & stains. The floors are falling apart. Stain on the ceilings. The radio speakers on the ceiling play a high pitched squeal every once in a while. I’m just very disappointed. I haven’t been here in months (grandma had fallen ill) and just returned to a place that’s not being taken care of. The staff are very nice, and food was delicious. Other than that, someone needs to come save this Big Boy.

Haven't gone to Big Boy in a long time. Decided to go because we was wanting a lil different. I ordered "The Grit Burger". If you're a Lions fan, you're going to appreciate this. It's a messy good time. The man who made it came and talked to me about how he prepared it. I mentioned to him that I don't eat bacon, but it would be a good addition IMO.

We came to this location because it has an all you can eat salad and soup bar every day. It had a large variety of vegetables fruit and 4 soups. We had breaded mozzarella sticks and 2 pieces of strawberry pie. The manager /waiter apologized for not coming back sooner because he was running the register. He gave us the dessert free for the inconvenience. This is a good place to eat and I recommend it.

Stopped in to use the restroom with my daughter after picking out our Christmas tree. She mistakenly left her phone in the stall and the GM Christie went above and beyond to retrieve it for us. We decided to stay for dinner and she has seriously improved every aspect of this location! So friendly and kind, and KIDS EAT FREE ON TUESDAYS. We will most definitely be back!

Was absolutely terrible no drink refills, no offering take out boxes, no offering for drinks to go. Didn’t come back to the table to see how it was tasting, only to bring me the bill no napkins. Absolutely worst service ever I’m a server myself and I don’t recommend ever coming here… my server was Karla. If I ever gave this type of service I would expect to not get tipped. WORST SERVICE EVER!!!!!!!

The food was awesome, they have one of my favorite polish foods which is potato pancakes and the bacon is awesome. It actually taste like the bacon it says it is smoke Apple. They really take care of their customers. It gets really busy after 11:00 so go between 9:00 and 10:00 you'll be able to sit eat and enjoy a conversation and then it starts to get busy a lot of people start coming in but this place has plenty of parking, easy to find, very handicapped friendly and so are the staff.

We walked in and were greeted by a very polite young man (15). Our waiter was awesome....I wish I would have gotten their names. The manager, Ken, walked over to our table to see how we were doing. No long wait on a Friday night. Our food came out extremely quick. We will be returning.

I've been to the weekend breakfast buffet many times, they do not keep it very well stocked. The bacon for instance, when they stock it, they'll come out with a plate full and dump it in the pan...a plate full which can then be taken out by a single guest, leaving it empty again in a matter of seconds and then not refilled again for ten to fifteen minutes. They need to pay more attention to restocking the buffet and not be so stingy when they do restock it. The wait staff is very friendly and dedicated to serving you, but restocking the buffet doesn't seem to be their responsibility, that falls on someone in the kitchen. Otherwise, the food is terrific, I'll continue going back, good luck to you getting any bacon though if I'm there...but on that note, good luck to me too.

Not your Parent's Big Boy!! This place is clean, the food was reallly good. My chicken Caesar salad and ice tea matched places that might be deemed as a higher caliber, such as "Ike's" on Van Dyke. Laura my server was FRIENDLY, considerate, warm, and welcoming. Place was clean and the breakfast and salad bar looked high quality. Def coming again! Great dressing! HOme-made.

It had been awhile since I had a breakfast buffet. I enjoyed their food especially the eggs. If I lived in Detroit I would go there every week

I normally don’t post reviews; I was not dissatisfied but disappointed with the rest room not being clean. Toilet dirty and only one; I could not use due to filth. I will never be back again. The waiter was extraordinary in his service. Must be sad management to be that close to suburban area. It’s shocking there is only one restroom and it’s dirty. Unclean. Wow what a disappointing breakfast on a Saturday Morning.

I was at this location during the the summer 2023 and the air was broke but I wanted to eat there so we stayed. My chicken tenders came out and tasted like cleaning products....the server was kind and took them off the bill. I decided to try one more time today 9/16/2023 at 2pm because I wanted soup and salad. Was a little disappointed that it was not available because breakfast bar was still being cleaned up... I ordered a mushroom Swiss with fries because onion rings were also not available. My sandwich got to the table and the bun was like a brick so I asked the server to help me out. He took it back and reheated my burger and fries in the microwave and replaced the hard bun with a stale bun. When I say stale...I mean I took bites and no matter how much I chewed, the bun was so stale I couldn't swallow it. My friend ordered a bowl of broccoli soup with slim Jim and fries and the server forgot the soup "in the microwave because it wasn't heated and ready for service yet" his words.... I am so disappointed and disgusted with this location I will not be returning. U should have a team meeting so portions are correct and food is fresh. A child size portion of fries with a stale sandwich for 14.00 is out of control.... Do better Big Boys....make Madison Heights proud to come there with their families!

We waited about 20 minutes before I finally got a waitress's attention then we ordered the all-you-can-fish dinner. That Was one of the biggest waste of money I ever spent. The macaroni and cheese didn't look good It looked like it was there for quite a while plus they weren't keeping the buffets stocked with fresh food. I waited for about another 10 minutes to flag down a waitress about getting some coleslaw It looked like most of the waitresses were hiding in the back. Unusually big boy is really good. The one on John r near 13 Mile Rd was really bad that day

Our waitress was beyond awesome. She was super friendly & very attentive. My food is what made my experience bad. I ordered the Buffalo chicken ranch & the meat was so tough that I couldn't bite through it. I thought maybe it was just 1 part, but I tried to cut it in half & bite the other half & it was tough like leather too. Our waitress apologized numerous times & I kindly let her know that it wasn't her fault. I ended up getting the fish & chips, but they were just average at best. The hushpuppies were amazing & saved that meal. Next time I go, I'll keep it simple & order a Big Boy
