I had thought that the "God complex" Doctors belong to a previous era or only exist in uncivilized countries; unfortunately they are well present and kicking in HM Sanchinarro Madrid. Not only so, but let me tell you a very simple fact: A Dr has no right to change the planned surgery treatment without consulting the patient first, and that is exactly what the "God complex" surgeon in your hospital did to me, right in the middle of the surgery room! I think I am going to look for a good attorney... No Dr in the world has the right to perform anything AGAINST the patient's wishes and this Dr did just that! UPDATE: second day after the awful surgery which has been performed without my consent and after my rights were destroyed by the God-like Dr and so far all I have from the hospital is a pathetic "we will look into it" kind of reply! Meanwhile my mental pain, anxiety and fear are through the roof! Contacted 2 lawyers, waiting for replies. UPDATE: day 5... mentally broken and the hospital sided with the Dr completely ignoring the mental distress they put me in... surprise surprise!

It is a shame the lack of information on the part of doctors about the progress of the health status of admitted patients. Discharge reports that take more than three days to execute because the doctors on duty are not involved in the diagnosis or the evolution of the patients' illness. The nursing and support staff a ten. That's why I don't give them just one star.

Medically speaking always fantastic service - in out patient and emergency attention is fantastic 4 stars instead of 5 due to the very very high cost of parking within the hospital. Street parking is sometimes available nearby but the school next door sees this fully occupied at school arrival and departure times.

The best facility of the hospital is the international support team. Significant advantage in Spain where your English+ simple Spanish is not enough to communicate in emergency or sickness situations. Very active, polite, helpful and kind girls providing translation, guidance, booking, and assistance as needed. Special thanks for Seena Um Muhammed, And the two nice girls both named Mariam for their outstanding care. Precautions during covid time are assuring, starting from triage areas in the ER, dividing the waiting area to ( respiratory/ non respiratory). The hospital is clean and equipped with average modern facilities. However, quality of the medical service provided by doctors are highly variable. I was treated by good caring doctors most of the times, and wasn’t lucky in rare occasions with carless, weak ones.

The main entrance reception staff is as rude as it gets each of the three times I've been there. Normally I use another hospital that has excellent patient care and reception but I needed to see a GP and the preferred one is at this hospital. After my most recent experience with the reception I will be finding a GP at the hospital I prefer. Never again will myself or my family be using this hospital.

This hospital should not even have one star!! Should have minus stars. Terrible hospital, horrific service and staff. We saw two doctors both of whom had a terrible attitude and spent so little time with us- one actually through papers in the room at us and saw us for a total of two minutes, this is when he wAs treating a cancer patient about to undergo chemo for the first time. They wanted to administer chemo through the veins without a central line!!!! This was the most horrific experience I’ve ever encountered - all the doctors we dealt with should be fired. The most horrific patient care ever experienced. Worse doctors ever had the misfortune to see.

Reception in the MRI area was HORRIBLE. Super rude, wouldn't help and told me that I was the one with the problem. With so many people wanting a job how is it possible that these people have jobs... Avoid this place, the workers (not including doctors) just chat all day, moaning about how it is horrible place to work and everyone wants to quit....

Terrible treatment in the emergency room, starting with the receptionist who does everything reluctantly and ending with the traumatologist who makes deductions without meaning, and also thinks that ibuprofen will cure my sprain... How unprofessional on the part of this hospital. We pay for a private service precisely because we think that the quality would be better than in Social Security.

Unfortunately this is the closest hospital we have, but we won't go there anymore. Even if they have an emergency department for kids, they are not trained for treating kids. We went there with our 3-years old. The doctor who made the stitches acted like a butcher. He didn`t even wait until the anaesthesia was working before he started to make the stitches. He was pulling on the filaments really hard, which was quite painful. The doctor who removed the stitches wasn't working any better. So our kid suffered a lot. I am shocked about this treatment. On top of it, it was really a lottery to get to someone who can speak a bit English. I know we are in Spain, but I was expecting that in a private hospital like that, there would be more staff members who can speak English. I am disappointed and angry, that my kid had to go through such a painful procedure. Yes if they had an accident, of course there is pain during the treatment, but it could have been less this time. And I think every parent will understand my point of view.

E.R. is usually overcrowded, wait is very long and worst of all is the medical attention. I've been twice and will never go again. Doctors "process" you like in some kind of factory, not really interested at all in your problem, not explaining anything, not following the protocols making you wait longer (even if in pain) or having to go to the pharmacy and back and forth because of wrong paperwork... At least the two doctors that treated me were in my personal worst 10. 2* because of the kind and efficient nurses and queue system.

Terrible experience. A whole mess with the health insurance. Displaced test results, and potentially wrong test results issued. The hospital has a lot of potential, but it is so messy and disorganised, especially with sensitive information.

The Extractions for Clinical Analysis unit in TERCERMUNDISTA, 2 BOXes for about 50 people, endless queue worse than in the S.Pública, they put the heating on full blast in a tiny room full of people, unbreathable atmosphere, horrible!!!

(Translated by Google) The service is incredibly lousy, I had an X-ray and they gave me another person's MRI report, I have called 4 times and I have been waiting more than a month for it to be changed to continue the treatment. After more than a month they have deigned to delete the wrong report and I keep waiting for them to do the correct one, I put it here to see if I can finally get them to do the job right.

The example of failure of a private hospital is this. What I do? Do I go in person to be told that they don't know anything or am I still spending money like hell? (Translated by Google) The attention of the Sanchinarro Hospital is terrible. It cannot be that a toll free number or an email is not accessible to be able to speak with someone who can solve the procedures. Completely neglected patient care. They have canceled my tests with a few hours notice. They never answer the phone but they send you SMS telling you to contact them. An unbearable automatic options loop, which ends up hanging. When someone answers it is in a bad way because they themselves tell you that they do not answer. And the analyzes with regrettable information. I have been with this center for 3 months and all I can think about is never coming back.

I've only used the services of this hospital once, for a biopsy. My appointment was at 11:00, and at 11:00 on the dot I was being attended by the doctor. It was a bit of a sensitive test, but both the doctor and the nurse attending were very comforting and reassuring, and the staff at the counter in Radiology were pleasant and helpful. I was called within a week to pick up the results, and was attended personally by the same doctor who did the test. A very positive first experience for me. The only thing I would fault is the lack of parking - plan to arrive well in advance if you need to park!

Hospital shame with pediatric emergencies. A month ago I had to go with my oldest son, and after waiting for an hour and a half to see us, the pediatrician excused herself because we had all gone at the same time that day. Today my wife is there with my other son and it has been more than 2 hours without a pediatrician seeing them yet. If they have so much demand, hire more pediatricians. Since 2020 with the covid, private insurance companies have been making record sales every year but the staff of all these centers remains the same number, they do not equate it to the number of new patients. A shame, they are only going to make money, and they don't care about us patients or their overexploited staff.

TO AVOID FOR URGENT TOPICS. It was a mistake to have chosen this hospital for an urgent matter, with my daughter in bed for several days they are not able to give me the test on the days they told me. They care little/nothing about the patient. Maybe for a routine issue they are worth it, but in critical issues I wouldn't opt for them. I have been in private healthcare for years and I have never been in this situation.

(Translated by Google) Having authorized a PCR from alAdeslas with its paper, the medical report and the flyer reached the autocovid zone that they have enabled. When I call and a reception desk approaches to tell me that Adeslas does not cover it, that it is € 180 and if I am interested in it well and that I should go away, I insisted that I had everything authorized and that I did not understand what the problem was, even so He told me to leave and if I thought about it I'd better come back to pay what the test is worth. After calling Adeslas they tell me that OF COURSE the test is covered and that what they have done to me is NOT normal, I have had to talk to them to change it to another medical center since I will never return there. I do not know if the woman who attended me will be right or not, but whether or not she is, they are not ways, she was not even interested in seeing a case or trying to help me, a very bad experience to be honest.

(Translated by Google) Disastrous. The hospital is disastrous. It has some good doctors, few: Dr. Vicente, Dra. Quijano, Dra. Rubio Rodríguez from the CIOCC, some MRI and X-ray technicians, the staff that attends the general reception on the first floor and some of the people who work in the cafeteria, the secretaries of Dr. Palacios and Lydia, the receptionist of the Outpatient Unit. It is a hospital that is a MESS. It is supposed to be a single building, but it looks like a rat maze and it really does feel like dirt. Before the Covid, you could see health personnel entering the rooms of recently operated patients with the same clogs full of scab from walking around the hospital and as there are areas in which the building does not communicate, even going outside and re-enter. I hope they have learned after COVID because in February of '20, being admitted to the ICU there was a lottery. (Original) Desastroso.

(Translated by Google) It has a couple of details in my opinion unforgivable. 1- The paid parking with the center price. They accumulate delays of more than an hour that are charged in parking at the price of gold, shameful. 2- Pay attention telephone numbers. If you have any problem, the only option is to call patient care, but the phone has a special rate, another shame. Personally, my next specialists will by no means be from this center.

(Translated by Google) Today I have made the great mistake of bringing my daughter to the emergency room for an injury caused by a traffic accident, slow, disastrous in management, without personal and friendly treatment, we are going the opposite of what corresponds to good health. NOTHING RECOMMENDED AT ALL. We have been more than 5 hours, in theory they have finished and the only thing missing is the medical discharge, the report and the removal of the route, for that more than 1 hour ...... a real joke.

Very mixed experience here... some decent and other pure horrific experiences. For example the place where they do the sleep study is not even worth of one star. - small bed and mattress enclosed with plastic. Not even a private bathroom or TV in the room. - not possible to adjust room temperature. Was at least 23 24 degrees which make very difficult to sleep. - they glue the sensors to your hair and face and it is quite aggressive. After it need to be removed by acetone!! - During night you are not allowed to go to bathroom or to use your phone. In all other sleep clinics I checked they say it is important that the patient feel comfortable and can use normal routines before falling asleep. At HM HOSPITAL it is not... I slept in total max 2 hours... how will they manage to do a valid check when I can't sleep?

👍 Good hospital. We have been 5 days for an intervention and everything has been positive. Very humane and professional staff. Dr. Mesa and his team, nurses, warders, ICU staff, and Begoña, the girl at the Trauma desk, are lovely. Out of 10. I don't give it 5 stars because of the administrative proce...
